Strange noises have been heard around the NW for a number of years, going at least as far back as Lewis and Clark's expedition in the early 1800s. Join Daryl Maddox and Clancy Ashgrove as they welcome special guest Doctor Michael Klein to discuss the phenomenon. After being clued into these local auditory anomalies several years ago through Reddit, Daryl discovers that there might be a longer history and a broader geography to these booms. Are they caused by natural processes, human activity, or something more bizarre? As Clancy and Daryl discuss the history of the noises and possible causes, they are joined by local scientist Dr Klein, who has his own hypotheses about potential sources of these concussive blasts.
