Well—I’m doubtful anyone (who is of true positions of political power) truly cares about “democracy” for small nation of Myanmar with the 53 million. All it takes is glancing at a map to see the geographical significance.   It is one of China path to the India Ocean and the AND is crucial for  China-Myanmar Economic Corridor (CMEC) where there is two oil and gas pipelines which run parallel to that project China is working to secure global trade route—which secures global influence, power, and ultimately dominance.  In the past 4 years an alliance has been forming the in Asia to stand against and resist China’s global dominance which has been called the QUAD.  The Quad is an alliance between China and the US, India and Australia.

The hypocrisy is suffocating from all political parties currently in America. There are very few uniting voices of reason. Most voice are seeking to divide and further their own political agenda.

Have we over estimated the deadliness of covid? So doctors seem to think so.

A recent article and study by John Hopkin's University demonstrates that COVID 19 has not attributed at any excessive deaths in America. In fact the death rate has not changed year over year as a trend. 

Have we over reacted and is the "cure" for covid in fact worse the the affect of Covid it self?

The response to COVID across the globe has been one of fear, control, and totalitarian power grabs—allowing strip club, bars, and alcohol stores to remain open but closing churches, synagogues and mosques and school. Is it wise? Or are we living in fear?

Today we answer a question from the audience, Sophie Scholl and the Order of the White Rose, and how us normal people can respond in the face of insult and criticism.

We discuss two heroes of World War II: Sophie Scholl and Maximilian Kolbe learning how to respond in line with your ideals in the face of wickedness, criticism and death.

You will face opposition by living a disciplined life by walking the road less travelled.

            The Question is what will you do about it and how will you RESPOND to opposition and insults and criticism.  

• Is there validity? 
  1. Is it someone who loves and cares and is genuinely seeking to understand?
  2. Is it someone who is ridiculing you and looking to destroy the good you are doing?

 Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him yourself. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.

             Are you being criticized for wrong doing? Or right doing?

             If people are attacking you and insulting you because you new life style is hurting others or turning you into a selfish jerk . . . well then maybe it is justified and you need to re-evaluate wether it is working.

             If you are being criticized because you are doing good, being kinder, more generous, living healthier, telling the truth, not participating in the toxic and or illegal behavior of your old friend group…. Then rejoice—because it means you are on the right track.

             (This is where you need to be brutally honest with yourself and open you ears to mentor around you who can speak into your life with brutal honesty)

• Return Evil with Good.

Bless those who curse, be patient with those who take advantage, respond gently when evil things are said about us. When slandered, we answer with kind words.

This past week, on November 10th 2020, Norway introduced a new law that "outlawed hate speech against transgender and bisexual people" even if that speech occurred in the privacy of your own home with up to a year in prison (three years for public hate speech).

Is that an overstep? Or should speech be controlled?

It begs the question about what does it mean, and where does this path of action lead  . . . most importantly “What exactly is hate speech” AND does it actually stop “Free Speech?” Or should we have "hate speech laws" that protect privileged people groups?

Truth--it is a trigger word these says in the polarized globalized liberal landscape. Most people live in such uncertainty that they will only claim that "truth is relative" and "there is no absolutely truth", which, ironically, is a self negating statement proving there is absolutely truth. 

But there are Truths that I AM very certain of. Admittedly, there are many gray areas of life--but there is TRUTH. And Truth that we can be certain of. 

How can I say that with such confidence? Because Truth has been revealed to us, AND Truth can be tested. 

In this episode I break down the FRUIT and EVIDENCE of truth, how you can TEST truth, and how you too can become not only certain about Truth but can live a life of total freedom--the real freedom you have been searching for.

I'll give you a hint--TRUTH sets you free. Free from depression, anxiety, self hatred, envy, criticism, fear, lust, hate, anger, and doubt. Find truth and you'll find true freedom.

Probably NO ONE would trade living in 2020 for living back in the 1950 without internet, cell phones, AC, supermarkets, advancement in modern medicine (myself included) – but are we wrong?

2020 life span is 78.93 vs 68.14 in 1950

There has FOR sure been some HUGE steps in quality of life.

YET There are some STARK differences that might make us think twice about saying “life is better now”

The last startling difference is the suicide rates.

What happens when you work hard and give your all and fail. The disappointment is real.

There are two sources for these "failures":

1) Other people didn't want what ever it was, or an uncontrollable circumstance happened, regardless wasn't your fault. Rejection can hurt.

2) You didn't perform well enough. Ouch. 

I'm not sure which is worse--but good news is there is a solution. 

A solution that leaves you satisfied. Where as worldly ambition leaves you empty and wanting more. 

Redefine success and failure today.

Richard Weikart is Professor of History at California State University, Stanislaus. He completed his Ph.D. in modern European history at the University of Iowa in 1994, receiving the biennial prize of the Forum for History of Human Sciences for the best dissertation in that field. His revised dissertation, Socialist Darwinism: Evolution in German Socialist Thought from Marx to Bernstein, was published in 1999.

We finish up this three part answer from a question from the audience with discussing an important framework that enables us to understand and sort highly complex issues in culture and society. 

We've have been building up to this frame work for some time now, and I'm excited for the chance to articulate this concept explicitly, which has been appearing implicitly in the thought processes of rational of the episodes since episode 1 of the podcast. 

We discuss the seven different areas of culture (or spheres of society) 

1. Religon
2. Family
3. Education
4. Economics (science/tech)
5. Art entertainment
6. Media
7. Government

And how when one sphere becomes corrupt, oversteps, or abdicates isn't responsibilities toxin codependent relationship in society form and disaster is just around the corner. 

I dive deeper specifically with how the education system grew out of alignment through wrongful influence of the business sphere (killing analytical creative thought processes that need to be taught in schools) and by government intervention through providing student loans (resulting in skyrocketing university cost).

In this episode we field a question from the audience from Episode 160 on Social Justice.

With that question we cover:

• Are women systemically oppressed by the tyrannically patriarchy? Who REALLY makes more money--men or women?
• Three Levels of Abstraction: object, experience and concept.
• Importance on multi variable analysis.

In order for us to answer the BIG questions about systemic racism, or sexism, or what the government to do about difference "social issues". We first must develop a health and correct world view on how the difference spheres of society (religion, government, family, education etc) should function and work together.

We also must develop a level of analytical thinking that looks past the surface, uni-variable analysis of the issue as hand and understand why, with in free markets and free society, are certain decisions being made or why are certain groups seeming to get less or more of their "fair share of the pie".
