| The Offense Continues to Fight Within Itself | 30 Nov 2025 | 00:15:23 | |
(Record Friday morning!) No one has bought into this offense for 12 games. How could you not make a change with the OC or QB or even WR1? Doing nothing always loses. Whatever the Eagles are trying to force on offense is making the team fall a part and it has to stop.

| How Could This Possibly Not Be on The Coaching Staff? | 24 Nov 2025 | 00:20:10 | |
Trying not to lose is not a winning formula coach! Many thoughts about what we saw yesterday against the Cowboys, and a quick mini-rant about Jeff McLane's reporting from Friday the possible Hurts/Coaching staff rift that appears to be a freaking river of disagreement at this point.

| I Don't Believe Jalen Hurts has the Eagles Offense Over a Barrel | 19 Nov 2025 | 00:09:22 | |
I'm done trying to fix this offense and I am just going to enjoy this Buddy Ball offense that Nick is trotting out there. Jalen Hurts has never asked for a conservative offense, just a good running game. My thoughts on the DGunn report and more!

| If the Lions Can Make an OC Change, Why Can't the Eagles? | 14 Nov 2025 | 00:08:48 | |
An ESPN article about the Lions replacing their OC John Morton, with Lions HC Dan Campbell, got me thinking about why it would be so hard to do that here. Kevin Patullo isn't going anywhere, he's just not quite ready yet. PLUS: I love Vic vs Goff in an Eagles win at home. | AJ Says Shit Show, Sielski Says Enjoy This More | 12 Nov 2025 | 00:11:13
So Jaire retires, and AJ decided to REMIND EVERYONE AGAIN that he is not happy with the passing offense. I don't think anyone is acting out of line questioning this team or feeling optimistic about they will be able to figure this offense out by the playoffs. I do have an issue with someone telling us that we aren't appreciating this season enough when we see a relationship deteriorating out in the open.
This is uniquely a 2025 issue that may have carried over from 2022, but the comparisons to '23 or '24 don't make sense to me anymore.

| Welcome to Eagles, Jaelan Phillips | 11 Nov 2025 | 00:11:32 | |
I don't know what to tell you about the offense, but I do know that having faith in Howie Roseman's draft picks is paying off a ton for the defense. UGLY BUT GOOD! I'll take the win in Green Bay. But it is okay to still thinking about changing the play caller if Dan Campbell just did it. | Seriously, Fuck the Packers | 08 Nov 2025 | 00:08:15
Could we see Mukuba at the nickel LB spot on 3rd and longs? I think so! And we finally might see what Vic saw in training camp which is putting Cooper DeJean at safety at some point. PLUS, I rant against Matt LaFluer and the Packers cause I really just can't stand them and just for the attempted Tush Push ban. | Things Will Be Even Better After the Bye Week | 24 Oct 2025 | 00:09:14
I know there is a lot of issues right now, but i think most of them might end up being solved by just getting a win and getting to the bye week. This week with Jakorian Bennett back and probably starting, I am just here to remind you why I think it's good for Cooper DeJean to be ready to play CB2. Injuries or matchup, it's time for him to cover WR2 all of the time. Birds get a win 24-17! 5 Things I Would Do to Fix the Eagles Offense:
1) You're a passing team until Nov 2) Run empty gun 40%-60% of the game 3) Saquon is more WR3 and less RB1 4) AJ in the slot always in 11 P 5) Dallas needs 10% more target share

If this is the best that AJ and Jalen can give us together, then maybe they really should be a part. The predictability of this offense isn't even close to the 2023 season, we are living in 2015 with a Super Bowl ring this time.

This week, I express my love for Za'Darius Smith and why I believe there is massive storyline with the Packers now that he's here in Philadelphia. AND, I try to answer these questions heading into the week:
1) Why is Jalen Carter not in shape? 2) Does anyone actually believe the passing game will be "fixed" this week? 3) Is there anything to the theory that the Eagles are playing possum with their offense? 4) What will it take for us to trust Adoree at CB2? | Cut it Out Nick | 16 Sep 2025 | 00:14:52
Since Nick Sirianni became the head coach we have ALWAYS critiqued his passing offense in some way shape or form. So I am pretty content to wait for answers from this offense as it recovers from a short offseason and I am so happy the Eagles are 2-0. But my biggest critique from the win in Kansas City and from Dallas keep showing up. The Eagles have zero pass attempts in the 10-19 yard range after 2 weeks, and that can no longer continue if Jalen Hurts truly wants to be a top 5 QB.
Sorry I couldn't get this out faster! (Recorded Monday morning)

The Eagles have so many WRs, a backup QB that won't play a 2nd preseason game, and no one that can really play CB2. Don't you think Howie is trying to get a deal done with Tanner right now? I do. That's my biggest takeaway as Eagles training camp comes to an end.

You might not like what I have to say about Cooper DeJean upfront, but by the end I think you can at least see where I am coming from. Vic Fangio is a genius, and has the best supporting cast in the league. JOIN THE WATCHING THE BIRDS SOCIAL CLUB! Rodger Goodell and the inner circle of the owners on his side is actively trying to dismantle what the Eagles built, and no thinks one Jalen Hurts does anything. We'll I've had enough of that shit! As if this week wasn't dumb enough both Sean McVay and Sean McDermott both showed their cards about why they think the Tush Push needs to go. The real reasoning? They just don't like it. That's it. That's the wwhhhhhholllllle argument. What a bunch of losers. | How Many Team Do You Believe Want to Ban the Tush Push? | 28 Mar 2025 | 00:12:06
Can you come up with 24 teams that would want to ban the Tush Push? I couldn't. But I do think you could convince at least 5 teams to say yes! Also, how would you feel about trading Jahan Dotson to the Packers? Let's get it into it. | 11 Possible Trade Partner Before the NFL Draft | 25 Mar 2025 | 00:21:48
I've been deep in the Pepe Silvia mode, chain-smoking and piecing together where the Eagles mail's is going. Grab your coffee and tinfoil hats, because we're diving into the Eagles' NBA-style offseason strategy. 11 trade partners, mainly in the AFC and a reminder that the future RT tackle of the Eagle might be on the roster already. | Dillion, Uche, Jackson, and why the Eagles are building this way in 2025 | 14 Mar 2025 | 00:15:40
AJ Dillion, Josh Usche, and Adoree Jackson... not that exciting right? Have no fear, the draft is near and it's something the Eagles have nailing which is a lot different the last time the Eagles won a Super Bowl. I also get into why I think the Commanders made the biggest mistake of the off-season by trading for Tunsil. | Where is the Eagles free agency ship heading next? | 06 Mar 2025 | 00:15:06
Howie is PAYING out properly.... so where is this going? Let's try and figure out together! I am getting us started by suggested something really dumb and maybe a big surprise might be Tee Higgins since the Bengals have no problem fucking up something really good. AND Slay/CJGJ was pretty funny and it also touched small nerve for me so I have to call out Darius lol. Also last thing, you midnight green people are absolute LOSERS. go birds. | Slay is Going to Come Back to Philly | 04 Mar 2025 | 00:13:40
Welcome to Watching the Birds! Name change is mainly because no one was able to pronounce Bell and The Birdmen in the first place, and I never really loved the name. Same show, different name, and it's what we do! We're just watching the Birds. Today we chat about Slay's "cut", Deebo to the Commanders, the new QB coach, and a lot more! Plus the trade wind pirate finally comes back :) __________________ Join us in the Discord: https://discord.gg/y455KDRYnC Watching the Birds on IG: https://www.instagram.com/ratherbewatchin Watching the Birds on Twitter: https://x.com/ratherbewatchin Barchard on Twitter: https://x.com/JohnBarchard __________________ BUY A HAT! | You'll Never Be Able to Ban the Tush Push | 25 Feb 2025 | 00:14:14
So what do you want the Eagles to look like in 2025? Barchard gets into AJ Brown's interview from Million Dollarz Worth of Game and why he doesn't believe the Eagles are going to be able to rely on Saquon as much in 2025. And of course we found out the the Green Bay Packers are trying to ban the tush push this season, which is hilarious cause there isn't a chance in hell the play gets banned. __________________ Join us in the Discord: https://discord.gg/y455KDRYnC Barchard on Twitter: https://x.com/JohnBarchard __________________ Talked about on the this episode Million Dollarz Worth of Game with AJ Brown: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsyWVA9ayls&pp=ygUkbWlsbGlvbiBkb2xsYXIgd29ydGggYSBnYW1lIGFqIGJyb3du Jack P. | Some Thoughts on Kevin Patullo | 20 Feb 2025 | 00:13:27
I understand why people want to jump out and say the (very obvious) hiring of Kevin Patullo is another Brian Johnson 2.0, and while that's a possibility I don't think 2025 has a chance to reach 2023 levels. That's just overreacting out of pure fear. Patullo isn't here to be the offensive mind, this is Jalen's offense.

| Eagles defense is better than the Chiefs offense | 04 Feb 2025 | 00:12:05 | |
Barchard thinks the national media is so obsessed with the Chiefs three-peat that they are afraid to say the Eagles defense is better than the Chiefs offense. They are going to see it on Sunday.
PLUS: Barchard believes the Eagles have a huge leg up in the negotiations for Myles Garrett, who recently announced that he requested a trade from the Browns Join us in the Discord: https://discord.gg/y455KDRYnC Barchard on Twitter: https://x.com/JohnBarchard Beef Jurgy contest: Just @ me on Twitter and say "Hey @johnbarchard, give me the @jurgyco!"
