A Heart-Stopping Family Update15 Sep 202600:06:47
Debbie shares a personal story and a call for prayers.

Life can turn in an instant, and in this heartfelt family update, Debbie Ozment shares a harrowing experience that tested her faith and resilience.

A Flight to Remember

Just three days ago, Debbie and her husband Mike were rushing to a conference in Atlanta, a scenario many can relate to. Running late for a 5 AM flight, they encountered a significant delay at TSA. Mike's worry about their tardiness was met with Debbie's calm assurance:

"I feel like God has a plan."
Little did they know, this would be a day they would never forget.

A Moment of Crisis

After finally getting through security, Debbie ran to catch up with Mike, only to find paramedics surrounding him, performing CPR.

"They stopped me and they said, Do you have an advanced directive? He has no pulse. We've been doing CPR for eight minutes."
In that moment of panic, Debbie cried out to God, begging for Mike's life. Miraculously, the paramedics revived him, and amidst the chaos, a woman in a white shirt appeared, offering comforting words:
"He's going to be all right."
Debbie later reflected on this encounter, believing it was a divine intervention to give her peace during the crisis.

The Road to Recovery

Now, as Mike prepares for triple bypass surgery, Debbie emphasizes the importance of maintaining health, even when unexpected challenges arise. She shared that despite Mike's overall good health and active lifestyle, genetics played a significant role in this event.

"The doctors were amazed that here's a 68-year-old man who takes no medications... but that doesn't always prevent a problem."
As they navigate this difficult time, Debbie requests prayers for Mike's recovery and the family as they face the future together.

A Call for Community

Debbie's message resonates with anyone who values health and community support. She invites listeners to continue strengthening their bodies and spirits so they can handle life's surprises.

"I thank God for the mercy he bestowed on us... We live authentic health with heaven in mind."
As she pauses the podcast to focus on Mike's recovery, Debbie expresses her gratitude to the listeners who share in their journey.

In her closing thoughts, Debbie asks for encouragement and shares her desire to help others live out their God-given calling with vitality.

"It is from our heart. We want to show people body, soul, and spirit vitality."

As they move forward, Debbie holds onto hope, knowing that every moment counts.

Let us all keep Debbie and Mike in our thoughts and prayers, and remember the importance of community in our lives.

Debbie invites you to reach out with your thoughts and encouragement via email at debbie@drdebbieozment.com. Stay tuned for updates as they navigate this journey together.

Want to feel better effortlessly? Here’s a simple strategy to boost your health with delicious resistant starch!
