After the beginning of the month that was dominated by the Pisces full Moon and Mercury going retrograde which created love factors to increase the benefits of romance, self-appreciation, beauty, and wealth-making.

It also happens that the Sun is moving into Libra and Libra is the sign of perfect balance and harmony, especially in love relationships. • If you’re in for increasing your romantic side in any way, I would suggest getting a honey jar together and really putting all your love essence into it. You give the honey a job to do, you put it in the jar, you put some cinnamon in there and say you want it to warm this up, put coffee in there to speed it up and you put your top 3 guys/girls in there and create something that really becomes your attractor – you become the honey. 
• ‘Be the flame, not the moth. This is what this day is all about.’

‘The cazimi happens when Mercury or Venus (the only planets that travel between Earth and the Sun) are in retrograde. That planet suddenly takes on the supersized factor and power of the Sun but for their themes.’
‘I’ve heard, through various channels, that the 23rd September is supposed to be some special day, there are huge potentials around this day because people are saying something big is going to happen – without looking at astrology, I’ve seen memes about the 23rd September.’
‘Our financial systems are all coming into line, the Pound, the Dollar and the Euro are virtually in line anyway but others are not, so it would take a lot for them to come in line so everyone had the same currency. It would be a really good day to have the debate about withdrawing from the Central Bank’s digital currency and go back to the Gold Standard which Russia and China have done.’

This episode of the Venus & Vesta podcast, focuses the recent death of Queen Elizabeth II and how the Pisces Full Moon allows us to have the full expression of grief, which has surprised some people, who consider themselves anti-royal.  This is the Moon's energy and the group consciousness around what the Queen's death defines as the end of an era.

• We know there are huge changes happening and there’s big predictions being told about where humanity is going at the moment, especially as we’ve just come through the pandemic and lockdown and many other things we never thought we’d see in our lifetimes happening. There’s been predictions of a global recession happening, saying we’re in the middle of ‘the great reset’ or ‘the end of times’ or ‘the great awakening’ and the age of Aquarius is coming even before you look at the astrology where we’re moving from 3D consciousness into 5D and that the whole universe is watching planet Earth to see what happens.  The Queen's death is deeply connected to these events, astrologically, so we can see how she defines this era.

‘This is the death of an icon and the death of an era. She’s deeply in our psyche, so you don’t have to feel embarrassed if you’re feeling the loss or grief too.’

‘We are star-seeds and each of us comes from different stars or a blend of star systems to come and have a human life here. The Queen is from the Draco soul line which likes to take the power from Earth, keep us all enslaved and work to feed their dark agenda.’

‘Virgo ruled her 8th house, and we know the Queen was famously frugal, she was never excessive with money and that’s such a Virgo thing. She was the Queen that said I’m going to start paying taxes. Though the devil might be in the details and there might be some more to be revealed.’

On this episode of the Venus & Vesta podcast, Ann-Louise Holland talks about Mars moving into Gemini on the 19th August and will stay there for 7 months, until the 24th March 2023 – an inordinate amount of time – we need to take notice. Mars is also going retrograde which we don’t always notice, but will have major effects and consequences.

‘Just like Mercury goes retrograde three times a year, Mars goes retrograde every two years for three months starting around Halloween. This could be quite scary, but we can use this as a good clean out and set new priorities.’

‘Mars is the male aspect, so potentially we have the idea of men losing power or not having opportunities. Perhaps men transitioning to women can no longer compete in women’s sports? Or a specifically trans category they can compete in?’

``We need to look back at stuff, re-read and look at old ideas and maybe start that darn book that we’ve been promising to write ourselves – perhaps it’s a film, photography or art as well, something that helps us communicate and something we wanna communicate.’

On this episode of the Venus & Vesta podcast, Ann-Louise Holland talks about what’s going on in the stars in September 2022. It’s a game of two halves in a really incredible month, the first is a dance off between Mercury and Mars which will be quite an exciting start to the month. The second half has plenty of action in Libra which will be good for relationships and wealth.

• The first week in September, Mars has just recently come into Gemini and it’s made a square with the new Moon in Virgo at the end of August. It’s already quite feisty and he’ll stay in Gemini for the next 7 months. Mars is slightly crazy and unbounded against Virgo’s very precise and careful so this means things will happen. Together with Mercury it will be quite fun, but things could get a bit too outrageous.
• Mars will enter the shadow zone of its retrograde and 8 degrees on the 3rd September. Whenever a planet enters its shadow zone you have to become aware of what’s going on around you, within those themes, that is going to take a bit of a journey at some point. Mars is going to connect with Gemini’s shadow twin which is the side Gemini likes to hide and gloss over: a lie could go the wrong way and turn sinister.
• On 10 September, Mercury starts to retrograde in Libra but it’s also retrograding from the 8 degree period point. Both are starting their retrograde action at the same point, they’re somehow twinned. Any planets at 8 degrees – or 7 or 9 as well – are really going to get dragged into this debacle. We’re really going to have to reconsider and re-look at some of the things around that. Things will fall into your lap that you will have to give extra thought to during this period.
• Libra is about relationships, maybe we’ll need to reconsider a past relationship. Maybe someone – a past love – walks in (not physically, perhaps) and maybe there comes a wave of emotion knowing about that. Or, someone who has all their traits (who you need to heal from) comes along, there’s a huge opportunity for healing in this which maybe won’t be as painful this time round, it’s an opportunity for to respond differently, not get triggered and see how this person is operating so you can look at how you operated and can learn and heal from it. There will also be money-making opportunities too.

‘I have quite a cracking month to get through, which is good news and makes a change for the disaster and destruction that has been going on lately.’

‘Mars and Mercury are having “flanter” (flirty banter), they’re dancing, it’s good news.’

‘When you study planets as long as I do, you realise that there’s always a full moon or new moon, this time the full moon in Pisces, something’s always happening around the beginnings of Mercury’s retrograde that gives it a bit of an edge.’

‘There’s so much confusion within Neptune that we just have to surrender. Once we’ve surrendered we can allow it to take us there because it also delivers a certain amount of magic, serendipity and glamour that we can’t create ourselves.’

KEY TAKEAWAYS

• This conjunction has the same feel as Jupiter. Saturn conjunction at the start of the pandemic. It’s happening in Taurus which rules fertility, sex, our bodies, the physicality of ourselves and mother Earth and all her riches including farming, minerals, nutrition and animals. • A square aspect – which this will be when the Leo Sun joins it in the middle of August – is challenging, it forces some kind of action, it’s like a boost or a frisson that happens. • Uranus was discovered in 1781 which was a huge period of emancipation and focus on freedom for the living man, especially since it just passed the American revolution. There were really strong themes about self-determination when Uranus came to our consciousness. Like last time Uranus was in Taurus was in 1935-42 where there was dramatic scarcity and poverty going on. Because Taurus is linked to farming there was the dust bowl farming famine where industrial farming ideas took all the grassland away from the plains and the dust came up and you couldn’t farm the land, seeds wouldn’t take and there was 100 million acres of ruined farmland. Look what we have now with huge problems with food supply chains.
• Last time we had this rare triple conjunction in Taurus in 1855. In May 1855 the Crimean War took place between the French and English (the Allies) against Russia. Hello? History is circular, here we are at war with Russia again. The Crimean War is described as a pointless war with huge loss of lives where the British fought Russia out of resentment, and I do feel there’s resentment coming on about repressing the Russian ideal which is different from our own. This current war feels like it’s against Russia rather than for Ukraine. This triple conjunction has brought us round to the same ideas.

BEST MOMENTS

‘We’re going to keep getting these hits of enlightenment, awareness, becoming conscious of things to do with those subjects and sometimes it will be a tussle.’

‘Uranus is a crazy planet, it’s unpredictable and sometimes it brings some kind of curve ball into our lives, good surprises as well as shockers. On the day it turns retrograde (24th) it can be a little bit chaotic.’

‘New tech, like nuclear fusion and 5G, doesn’t come in until our consciousness is ready to claim it. There’s probably a lot more tech than we realise but it hasn’t been given to consumers because of how it can be useful for nefarious means.’

‘During the pandemic the 10 richest men doubled their fortunes, energy companies are making massive profits while energy bills are tripling and quadrupling. We’ve got to understand that an audacious theft is going on right before our eyes.’

On this episode of the Venus & Vesta podcast your host, Ann-Louise Holland, explains the August stars for 2022 which kicks off with the biggest aspect of the year, between Mars, the North Node and Taurus, the effects of which will last for the first two weeks of August.

• Mars is hugely dynamic, can cut things off, can cut through things, can see the certainty in things and adds a huge dynamic thrust. Uranus has been in Taurus now since May 2018 and is edging is way closer to Taurus, whereas the North Node (where the Moon crossed the elliptic) has only been in Taurus for six months and is coming the other way, because it works backwards, so they ‘re slowly converging. This is about the earth and farming, our physical bodies, our fertility and sexuality.
• When the North Node comes along it’s like a doorway  we can open and if there’s planets around it or things happening at the North Node, sure, you’re going to go through. But if there isn’t it might take more effort. But with Uranus around it’s going to blow the bloody doors off! Especially now Mars is joining these two. I’m expecting some explosions.
• The Great Train Robbery took place in August 1963 where huge amounts of gold bullion was stolen worth millions today. It was completely audacious. Its Taurus theme was that the robbers took the gold (it’s so Taurean – or Leo – physical gold) out of the safe and put lead back inside so when it was weighed it would always weigh the same. The reason they got caught was that they got the weights wrong. It’s such a Taruean thing, the weight of the minerals from the earth. I was thinking just how much we’re having a robbery now of our fertility and body autonomy or paying for a war that could be preventable, not to mention governments around the world stealing land off farmers.
• The asteroid Niobe was joining this triple conjunction. Mythically, Niobe had seven daughters and seven sons, she boasted to whoever would listen that she had these wonderful children, and the gods came and took each one from her and they were killed so now, in myth, she sits on a rock weeping for her lost children. In Taurus this is absolutely going on in the nutrition that we give our children, we are sexualising them too early, taking their body autonomy and saying they can be a different gender and there’s a whole lot of confusion around that with Uranus’ rule of confusion, they’re not connected to nature, they’re in front of screens much more than any generation before them.

‘Uranus is the enlightenment planet, he comes along and gives us curve balls, changes direction and is a crazy, disruptive planet to deal with when it comes to give you a transit. It really does push things around.’

‘The last time these three aspects converged was in May 1855 during the Crimean War between the French and English (the Allies) against Russia. Does that ring any bells?’

‘Basing a currency on gold or other precious minerals, like China and Russia are doing, encourages people to go mining for them. That happened on the 1st of August.’

‘The Leo Sun wants to ignite our passion and interest in one or all of the things I’ve been talking about so people get interested and want to do something about it, like an “I’m Spartacus” moment.’

On this episode of the Venus & Vesta podcast your host, Ann-Louise Holland, explains why this month's stars will ‘blow the bloody doors off!’, not just because of the North Node meeting Uranus, meeting Mars at the end of the month. We start the month with a real door-slamming entrance because Mars is the god of war, god of sex, knows what to do, knows where he’s going, comes with a sword, really good at cutting things off, really getting through to the nub of things. He makes a challenging square  aspect  to Pluto, the other maleficent.

• Mars really likes to take action, so when it hits Pluto like this it could be the push we all need to get out of a situation, to say something, to say something, to really say I’m leaving and this is the push that pushes me over the edge.
• Mercury moved into Cancer, which is a much softer, empathetic sign. It’s also the feminine, so it’s an opportunity to use  and start speaking in software terms and start getting ideas to get what you want.
• Mars moves into Taurus (meaning the Earth, our bodies and also  to connect with what’s happening later in the month where Mars joins both Uranus and the North Node in this explosive conjunction happening on the 31st or the 1st August.
• It’s like the full moon is sending a moonbeam right down to Pluto in the underworld of the business and corporate and political and medical worlds, to look at all the darkness of all that’s going on like the Hammer House of Horror with the bats flying around it like the White House, 10 Downing Street, Bank HQs, etc.

‘Although these are two very dark and often connected to the shadows and can leave places – Mars can be like a knife – they can be an opportunity to get out of somewhere.’

‘The self-talk you give yourself can be levelled to be much kinder self-talk within these really hard times.’

‘On 11th July America had its Pluto return, the second hit of three. This means that in February Pluto came back around to where it was when the founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776.’

‘How brave are we? Have we just become compliant and allowing and following rather than brave. How free are we?’

On this episode of the Venus & Vesta podcast your host, Ann-Louise Holland, explains why this month's stars are not to be feared, despite it involving the most evil demon star in the heavens, Algol. For 10 days Mercury is retrograding and sitting right on Algol, and this is quite unusual.

• In February 2022 we have APDM (All Planets in Direct Motion), which works from February to May, so there’s a rush of activity and motion in those first few months of 2022. But, it means it goes forward but unchecked, which doesn’t allow us to pause and really consider and refine.

As Jupiter is moving into Gemini, this week’s episode of the Venus & Vesta Evolutionary Astrology podcast goes DEEP into Gemini and the duality construct it represents. I look at Gemini from the more mainstream observation and what happened in recent times when Gemini was active to the more esoteric ideas behind Gemini and the duality of the hidden shadow twin and the subconscious. Jupiter is of course the planet of abundance and as it plays a huge part in the Sagittarius Full Moon, as ruler of Sagittarius and then goes on to ingress Gemini, I had to take a deep dive into Jupiter for this episode of the Venus & Vesta Evolutionary Astrology Podcast.
