7.14: Coaching masterclass: Ross Lyon delivered a perfect week06 May 202501:03:06

How quickly things change! A devastating change of pace from the Saints who strangled the Dockers in the first half before putting pedal to the metal in the second to dominate from start to finish. Hugo Garcia bounced back from a controversial week to a Rising Star nomination, while Ross Lyon delivered a rare win against the AFL with "exceptional circumstances" proving pivotal in the Alix Tauru case.

2022 St Kilda FC Season Review: Back to the Future24 Nov 202201:10:45

Well, it's taken a little longer but it's been one heck of a few weeks down at Moorabbin. We're finally back for Unpluggered's 2022 Season Review as we look ahead to Ross Lyon's comeback at the St Kilda Football Club in 2023.

Brett Ratten SACKED: What happened and why?16 Oct 202200:40:15

A bizarre week.

After re-signing coach Brett Ratten to a two-year extension mid-year we would have put our house on him being the man to lead the St Kilda Football Club into 2023. As we all know, Ratts' tenure at the club ended abruptly as he was removed from his position last week.

But why? What happened? What's next? What does it mean? We take a look.

We take a look at another disappointing result and look ahead to what should be our final game of the year, plus a Rising Star nomination for Marcus Windhager, Max King's goalkicking woes, Dan Hannebery and just... where to from here?

We're also joined by 33-game Saint and long run-up goalkicker, Ahmed Saad.

4.24: "As simple as it is..." ft. Nathan Freeman10 Aug 202201:26:28

A disappointing loss to Geelong as many would have expected down at the Cattery. The gulf in class was evident as the Cats were simply better for longer. Somehow St Kilda's season is still alive and we have another shot to fight for a Finals spot this week at home against the Lions.

Our guest this week is Nathan Freeman, himself no stranger to fighting through adversity, as he dealt with injury after injury after injury to finally make his debut five years after being drafted as a top-ten talent in the 2013 AFL Draft.

It wasn't pretty but they got the job done. The Saints' finals hopes are still alive after a hard-fought win over the Eagles in Perth.

We're joined this week by a fan favourite who only played 28-games for the Saints across seven years. Darren Minchington's St Kilda career was plagued by injury, but managed to find a place amongst the hearts of Saints fans across the country.

It was every bit as bad as any other loss this year, but somehow, the St Kilda Football Club is STILL in the AFL Finals race, so we back up and go again, because... y'know, that's what we do.

This week we're joined by a man who's been in the media spotlight for three decades, but there's been lots of conjecture about what team he actually supports. Veteran Perth commentator Tim Gossage answers that question this week on Unpluggered Podcast.

Plus we're joined by 80's stalwart Robert Elphinstone to talk though his 157-game St Kilda Football Club career in a period of really dark times for the club.

7.12: It's never as good or as bad as it seems...29 Apr 202501:08:58

Another disappointing result against the reigning premiers, but not for a lack of effort this week as the developing Saints were simply outclassed by a better team. But, as we say, it's never as good, or as bad, as it seems. Still some positives to reflect on!

A heap of talking points in this one: Hugo Garcia subbed before half time, Alix Tauru's VFL suspension, testy Ross and much more.

Plus we speak to 1966 Premiership player, St Kilda FC club leading goalkicker, interim coach and even Saints' father, Allan Davis, about his Saints career and tumultuous relationship with Allan Jeans.

7.10: Interview with HEATH BLACK18 Apr 202500:25:13

Heath Black played just 54-games with the St Kilda Football Club, but was involved in a period of immense growth, arriving at the club in 2002 after five seasons at Fremantle. Black played a major role in the development of the squad, with an appearance in the 2004 Preliminary Final loss to Port Adelaide - one that he says still stings - before moving back to Fremantle ahead of the 2005 season sue to family reasons.

Having worked for the AFL and now in local football since retirement following the 2009 season, Black is now a big advocate for mental health, both in football and in society.

3.25: "A very small element of relief..." ft. Dean Rice19 Aug 202101:22:12

Not much more sums up the competitive end of the St Kilda Football Club's 2021 season than "it hurt, but there was a very small element of relief." With the Saints gallant-ish loss to the Cats, the season is over, despite one match to go on the fixture, which we'll look towards on this episode.

Plus we're joined by former Saint, Dean Rice, who walks us through his career, including the '91 AFL Finals series, two knee reconstructions, tumultuous relationships with a certain coach, and of course, his move to Carlton that earned him a premiership in 1995.
