Her book "Getting Healthy in Toxic Times" is the first book to connect the health of our planet with our own well-being, and asks the question that very few doctors do: how can we protect ourselves from the pollution, chemicals and toxins that pervade our environment?

Dr Jenny Goodman qualified at Leeds University Medical School in 1982, and is a member of the British Society for Ecological Medicine. She has specialised in Nutritional and Environmental Medicine since the year 2000. She has a particular interest in pre-conception care (fertility and making healthy babies), and in working with children.
Jenny has lectured extensively, to other doctors, to practitioners of alternative medicine, and to the general public. She ran a case-discussion group for 10 years, where medical and naturopathic/nutritional practitioners share knowledge and clinical experience.
