Dwelling in the Presence of God is at the heart of Prayer. Just being with Him. In this episode we take a look at what intercession is and how God fills us with the grace to be His children and how to abide in Him. Our life becomes an offering both in death and Resurrection. This is not an easy road but a battle.

We look at the different forms of prayer and learn what God teaches us in applying them in our lives. Our prayer becomes a fragrance before the Lord and we know that His hand guides and guards us. By listening to His voice, we are given authority and dominion and discover the heart as the place of encounter where God dwells.

We find that our peace lies in putting our trust in Him and not in the vain philosophies of the world but in dying to ourselves joined with Jesus.

We Take a look at the overview of Season Two. How God Establishes His Authority and how out of His overflowing love we receive. We belong. His Heart is very open to us and He waits for us to respond in love and follow Him.

In this episode we look at mountains and valleys in the spiritual life and how to navigate them. Abraham our Father in Faith shows us that trusting in God is the key to progress in this journey. Peter shows us how we would like to keep the good moments here in the Transfiguration. We can but not in the way he proposes. Good moments are to strengthen us for the difficult times where we must remember the mountaintop.

We look at following the will of God in obedience versus making a name for ourselves in our own effort. This organically forms community around prayer and work and brotherly love. The Good Shepherd leads us for we know His voice. Anyone else who is not following the voice of the shepherd is a thief and the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy.

Today I have a special guest, Father Jacob Strand. We delve into the mysteries of God the Father's loving Heart. We take a look at some practical steps we can take to heal our hearts from father wounds. We also take a look at some practical ways our fathers can help us grow and how we can be reconciled and start fresh in our awareness of the father's love and how he gets his example from God the Father.

Here we take a look at the covenant love between God the Father and us. We start in the Old Testament and move to the New. The groundwork for the greatest love story ever told is laid before us and the foundation of our own love story and our part to play.

It is important to remain in the Father’s love. When we do, then we can begin living from that place of love and receive the gifts He has for us. He shelters us here and protects us from harm. Giving us new vision, God draws us in and lovingly sustains us.

This episode is part one on prayer. This is a foundation for getting into more specifics. We lay out the groundwork for what it means to have a conversation with God and how to carry out His wishes. The Holy Spirit forms our prayer and teaches us how to walk.

As newborn infants, we are brought into this world. We grow and change. The tendency to sin stays with us but, by baptism we die with Christ and come to new life. God wants to make a new story for us. So, we must be born again by water and Spirit. God gives us food to sustain us. God is a merciful God slow to anger and rich in kindness. In this episode, we dive into the heart of the Father to see who He is. Exodus 34 shows us seven characteristics of His heart. We take a look at belonging with this merciful God and explore some science behind self-worth in Him.

We need to let God deliver us and act in freedom and not blame others for our own behavior. Let’s look at Moses’ Mother and other female characters in the beginning of Exodus. This book is full of this truth. God has to bring the Chosen from slavery to freedom. God shows his anointed that he was reliable and trustworthy providing for their needs. When they fell away, He called them back and journeyed with them.
