We had something great to watch last week, so naturally the Randomizer decided it fit to hand us David's favorite era: Death of WCW. You can tell right off the bat that this was going to be one of *THOSE* shows, with WCW having a different logo for the annual event. We are back in our wheelhouse with Backlash 2007 AKA The Dawn of the Marks. With a main event between John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, and Edge, you know things are going to be nuts. Well, not everything from the Attitude Era can be good, and Armageddon 1999 certainly proves that. With a main event between Triple H and his father-in-law, after Triple H injured himself in a walk through, it was cursed from the start. We proved the doubters wrong folks! The Marks have made it to 50 episodes, AND it's been a whole year since we started this podcast. It only took 49 episodes, but FINALLY, the Marks have the first truly iconic Attitude Era event. While the King of the Ring tournament was largely overshadowed despite featuring The Rock and Ken Shamrock, this event is most well known for being the night Mick Foley tried to end himself from the top of Hell in a Cell.
