In the first episode Adam and John discuss the aims of the podcast, open the pod up for interraction and suggestions, and go on to discuss the craft events they attended in 2025.

As we discuss in the content, we will be interviewing folk from a broad cross section of the arts and crafts community and shining a light on deserving subjects

John interviews Adam, finding about his passion for history, his journey to becoming a professional blacksmith and his plans going forward.

John chats with David Trapps about renewed interest in manual typewriters as a push back against digital overload. John explains what attracted him to purchasing a typewriter and having it serviced by David.

John visits the workshop of Phil Bradley to discuss all things willow and how to diversify to make a living from your craft.

Phil grows his own stock material and the recording was made shortly after the annual willow harvest in january.
