En este episodio de TRK/ID recibimos a Marc Martínez / AFFKT, productor, DJ e ingeniero de sonido español, fundador del sello Sincopat y del estudio de mezcla y mastering Pobla Studio en Valencia (más de 40,000 masters realizados). Hablamos de su formación en el conservatorio y en la Politécnica de Valencia, su paso por Alemania y la escena drum & bass, el nacimiento de su proyecto AFFKT, y cómo construyó un estudio híbrido entre analógico y digital. Marc nos platica los errores más comunes que ve al mezclar tracks de otros productores, su flujo de trabajo entre Ableton y Cubase, cómo usa la inteligencia artificial en su producción, y su visión sobre hacia dónde va la industria musical. Además, estrena en exclusiva dos tracks inéditos de su catálogo. Cerramos con la tradicional ronda de preguntas rápidas: su isla desierta musical, club vs. festival, y tacos vs. paella.

In this episode of TRK/ID we welcome Marc / AFFKT, a Spanish producer, DJ, and sound engineer, founder of the label Cinco Path (5Pad) and the mixing and mastering studio Pobla Studio in Valencia (over 40,000 masters completed to date). We talk about his training at the conservatory and at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, his time in Germany and the drum & bass scene, the birth of his AFFKT project, and how he built a hybrid studio blending analog and digital gear. Marc shares the most common mistakes he sees when mixing other producers' tracks, his workflow between Ableton and Cubase, how he uses artificial intelligence in his production process, and his outlook on where the music industry is heading. He also debuts two unreleased tracks from his catalog exclusively. We close with the traditional quick-fire round: his desert island music picks, club vs. festival, and tacos vs. paella.
