2020  Certainly was a year of challenge, especially working in the travel industry. While my business was on a trajectory that was setting records was suddenly devastated overnight.. How did I shift for success? Who did I align with for business mastery?

A conversation with Neil Fehr on the humbling journey of climbing to Everest Base Camp in Nepal. How does one from Saskatchewan, Canada train for such an adventure and why Everest?

As Taryn says, “Don’t go a day without feeling your best self”. Leaning on my friends this season from all over the world, sharing their stories of success in locations that we dream of.  Taryn is currently residing in Dubai, and this small town Canadian girl has had an adventure getting to where she is now. She’s created a business for herself living on multiple continents with her husband and children.

I never dreamed it to be possible that somebody could take travel away from me, this year that happened. From the collapse of the travel industry to mental health struggles and the nonsense that is homeschooling … Season 2 is here and it's cathartic to celebrate it!

I promised my children that when they turned 16 years old I would take them on a trip anywhere in the world they wanted to go. The catch was they had to research it and tell me why they wanted to go there. As my son turns 16 he has chosen Antarctica. I think he forgets it his mother hates being cold. 

We all have excuses why we shouldn't take those trips. It costs too much, I don't want to go alone, etc. My conversation with you today is breaking down the barriers of what holds you back from taking that trip you've always wanted to take. 

The first time I was diagnosed with cancer I remember sitting in the doctor's office by myself. My husband was on the golf course and I had gone by myself because never in my life did I dream that this was the news that I was about to receive. When he told me I had cancer I was in shock and didn't really know what to say and my only real question was “I'm supposed to leave for Paris next week, can I still go?”

Paris is an incredible city and no matter where you are at in your life if you've received good news, bad news if you're happy,  sad I promise you … some quality time in Paris does the heart good.
