It is time to say goodbye to my brand Topanga Moon. This is something that has taken me some months to come to and I have been wrestling with this decisions and looking for clarity on what to do with this space. It took some time and I received the clarity I was looking for and in this very vulnerable episode I will share the reasons behind the decision and what I think is next for this podcast space. I recorded this episode on the Harvest Moon and as you hear in this episode that is a very significant part to this decision and the best way to end on one of my favourite moons. This year I have really strengthened my faith which has led me to the decision to evolve and start a new chapter. This whole brand and space started with the moon party, I always thought it was a way I was strengthening my spiritual life but what I didn't know at the time was that is was actually taking away from the truth of a spiritual life and that is because it didn't centre God. I have loved creating this community, all of the interviews on the podcast and the incredible guests that have come into the podcast. I am so proud of the interviews on the podcast and know how much they have enriched my life. I also love the meditations, but the podcast has mostly featured the moon meditations in the past year and although I think they are beautiful and full of pure intent I no longer want to focus on the moon as a way to create desires. You will hear in depth in this episode how I came to this realization, how I still love the beauty of the moon and the things that prompted me to create a shift and know that it is time to end this brand and begin to create something new.

I don't have all the answers and this decision is based off of what feels right for me right now in my walk with faith. This space has been such a blessing and it is definitely not over! When the time is right there will be a new name, a new mission and direction for the podcast. Thank you for being a part of this dreamy space, the meditations and interviews will remain on the podcast for you. I am excited for this new journey and I hope you will stick around for all the newness that is to come!

Welcome to the September new moon meditation. This new moon is in Virgo and we are beginning to get organized for the end of summer into fall, organizing our life to create the intentions we desire to complete for the remainder of the year. New moons are always considered new starts, for this meditation we use the moon as a marker of time, just like the seasons to signify change. Just like we observe and appreciate beauty in nature, we do that for the moon, knowing it was all created by God. For this meditation we will be traveling and moving into our dream home for fall, a charming coastal cottage on the beach.

Happy Spring! I wanted to do a fun solo episode on how I am planning my wedding in just 4 months. Since I have been totally immersed in the planning process and in a daze of all things wedding, I thought it would be fun to share my process and also the tips and tricks I have learned - to inspire others that you may not need that long to plan your dream wedding after all! Today's guest is my dearest friend and most frequent guest on the Topanga Moon podcast! Aneta Sofronova is the founder and creator of the sustainable clothing brand Nusha, a brand rooted in earth-conscious production and clothing made from natural fibres and dyes that are healthy for you and the planet. I am thrilled to have her on the podcast to dive into her mission behind her clothing brand, the design evolution of her brand and how that is connected to her heritage, the history of the hemp fibre industry, today's oversaturation of toxic clothing, her love of using and cultivating plant dyes and so much more!

We dive into:

• The evolution of Aneta’s brand Nusha, the meaning behind her brand name. Her deep connection to plants, growing them and how that was infused into the original name of her brand Immortelle  - meaning everlasting, growing in the Mediterranean. Design that can withstand the test of time. Using her nickname Nusha for the new name, it connects her to her roots and younger self - sweet sentimental and from her heritage. 
• How hemp is meaningful for the region that she is from and important for her brand. Hemp is unlike any other plant and has so many end uses.
• How Aneta’s grandmother use to grow hemp in her village, and using hemp for so many things. Taking it down to the river for the retting process, breaking down the stocks to reveal the fibre. 
• Uncovering the history of how we create goods and what fabrics we use and why. Hemp is one of the oldest textiles known to man. Even the word canvas, which is a type of woven fabric, the origin of canvas comes from cannabis. 
• How hemp was used in the military, used in the ships that came over to America, even Henry ford was experimenting with hemp. 
• There were two big industries that saw hemp as a big threat: the cotton industry which was popular in America, and the oil industry - which saw it as a huge threat because you could make biofuels and bio plastic from hemp. 
• How it became illegal to grow hemp in North America. 
• We discuss the toxins in our clothing and the fashion industry. Wearing petroleum products on our bodies.
• The creation of a campaign to demonize the hemp industry and thus making both marijuana and hemp illegal.
• We also discuss Aneta’s love of plant dyes, the intricate process and how using plant dyes beautifully connects her fashion to nature.
• Naturally dying fabric consists of many different steps - harder and more expensive but has been used for so long. The more we step away from what is harder to create the less we respect the garment. 
• Aneta shares her favourite natural dyes and the different processes. We also discuss the energetic properties of natural colours, the significance of using certain colours like slate blue for porches, and the frequency of natural fibres.

• Going to an equestrian competition that dates back to 1715 called Sinjska Alka.
• Discovering the Krzni Put - way of the cross- a religious pilgrimage nearby designed by artists from all over Europe.
• Going to Velika Gospa, that biggest religious celebration of the year in Croatia.
• Swimming in fresh mountain spring water at the site of a local legend and love story from the turn of the 19th century.
• Going to an island and discovering a perfect swimming spot in a small village by accident.
• Discussing the rugged raw beauty of Croatia, the natural wonders and how it informs the person I am and the purpose I have.

• Carley’s recent apprenticeship at Herb Pharm, her eat-pray-love year, connecting to herself and knowing she needed to immerse herself into the herbalist world. After being a city herbalist for so long she knew she needed to go out into the vast landscape and fully dive into the herb world. Divinely timed, living in community with 8 other women, working with the land and having a strong connection and communication with the plant world.
• Plant sits: taking a tincture of a plant you don't know and working with it to uncover what it is and how it works with your energetic body.
• Sitting with hawthorn, potent for the heart, opening of the heart.
• The mind-body connection when it comes to holistic nutrition. Developing a spiritual practice over time and seeing how much that impacted her health. Feeling like she needed to be perfect when it came to food, looking at all problems as a one-juice-away from achieving the ultimate health, being all about the physical body. Finally realizing how much our mind is connected to our health, how our gut is connected to the brain.
• Hormone health and women being disconnected to their cycles and living in a masculine world - this connection to stress and dysregulation.
• We have 4 cycles in our menstrual cycle, seen as the 4 seasons - mimicking nature and the moon. We have this internal need to be connected to plants, we have an internal herbalist inside of us.
• 4 cycles: menstruation is our inner winter, the follicular phase is the springtime, our ovulatory is our inner summer, the luteal phase is our inner autumn. Discussing Carley’s favorite herbs for each of our menstrual seasons to support us during each time - such as dandelion root, which represents the sun, the moon and the stars.
• We discuss cramping in periods and if it's normal for us to experience. Looking at it like our bodies are trying to tell us something. Could be a sign of inflammation and trying to remove seed oils from the diet to see if there is a difference.
• A lovely tip for excess estrogen is eating a raw carrot salad.

The power of plants and the safety of a sagebrush, that is the essence of today's beautiful podcast interview with the grounding and inspiring earth goddess, Shelby. She is the creator of a stunning CBD and flower essences oil brand that goes beyond sustainable practices. Winter has arrived and to celebrate this tranquil and magical time on the Gemini Full Moon we will be transported to a winter wonderland: Dunton Hot Springs. Let us set intentions nestled in a romantic 1800's ghost town in the Colorado Rockies. This town full of natural hot springs embraces and celebrates the winter season. What does divine timing mean to you? This concept of time and timing has been floating around me, even so much that I started writing a new rom com around the idea of timing. In this episode I share my idea that divine timing is the divine now, how every moment can be a diving timing moment based off of the idea that time is infinite and we only think of time in a linear way. I share stories about how certain things happen in my life in a divine timing way and that we are never going to miss out on what is for us! I chat about divine timing actually being a part of my human design in a big way with the gate 12, the gate of caution and standstill. This gate is about sharing at the right time and to embrace caution in order to share the art when it is truly the right time for it. I also share about timeline jumping, what I believe timeline jumping is and how you can timeline jump. I share lessons from Joe Dispenza and Zach Bush on the frequency of time, how time can be in distortion and how the way we relate to time affects our own health and healing. And then I share lessons from hot springs, how water is all about divine timing. How hot springs can bring us into the divine now and how it is the organs of the planet - as shared by water researcher Veda Austin. I talk about the magic of water and how we are always in communication with water and how this is a key to healing ourselves and the planet.

I have a rosy episode for you today! This one is perfectly timed for the Earth Month as I share about the beautiful divine energy of the rose. The rose flower has come into my life and has wanted to work with me, I discovered this more full in my meditation practice and while diving into the topic of rose discovered so many synchronicities and signs. In this loving episode I will share how the rose has called me to work with it and what the rose energy means through the history of religion, mythology and symbolism.

I am so grateful to be joined on the podcast today with my dear friend and soul sister Britt Guimond. We first connected through the podcast when Britt was a guest, she shared her life journey on episode 41. In this conversation we dive deep into her work with womb consciousness, embodied divine feminine energy and the path of truth. This is one of my favourite conversations and we recorded on Venus day, there is a flow and ease to the wisdom share and so much juiciness in this beautiful transmission.

• The energy and reclaiming of the colour of pink, the higher heart.

• Stepping into womb consciousness, what led her to this sacred path - a consciousness beyond the mind, a deep intuitive knowing.

• How are you practicing surrender in this season? Accepting the “perfection of my path” as long as we follow the deep truth we follow the perfection of our own path.

• Fate, do we have fate? Karmic lessons on our path that we have to go through, going through things many times to learn a lesson. We get to be the creatrix and play with the divine will.

• Lower densities and karmic path, the disconnect to their truth and to love which leads to so much fragmentation from love.

• Discussing how our world tried to destroy cultures led by embodied magic and feminine consciousness. Our culture and patriarch hiding our truth - when we take people from their land and their cultures and take them from their practices

• The new way is coming back to the old way.

• Seeing a future of us all bringing all our cultures and sharing that medicine and truly uniting together.

• Healing the karma of our linear and our ancestors are cheering us on!

• Choose to believe it all paves a way for a new earth and going back home to the motherland.

• The vibration of unity consciousness is the original template and indigenous ways of living with the earth - true template of what it means to be a human on earth.
