Fall has a way of making us look around our homes and think, Okay, now I'm finally going to deal with all of this.
But when your mind jumps from starting to everything it would take to finish, it can be easy to put the whole thing off for another day.
In Episode 19 of Tidy Talk, we're talking about that all-or-nothing mindset and a different question you can ask yourself this fall: Instead of focusing on everything you haven't gotten done, what could feel different in your home a few months from now?
Maybe your closet is easier to use. Maybe there's finally room to put things away. Maybe you've made decisions about the boxes you've been avoiding, or there's simply one area of your home that no longer feels overwhelming every time you walk past it.
Your whole house doesn't have to change for your home to start feeling different. And sometimes we're so busy noticing everything we haven't gotten to yet that we forget to look at what we have done and recognize how even those small changes are already making our home feel a little better.
