In this episode, I share my heart after attending Crowns Down, an incredible event hosted by the Consumed Coaching Community with Founder Francine and Co‑Founder Reagan Ivey. I didn’t plan on recording this, but the Lord kept nudging me—reminding me that obedience in every step matters.

At Crowns Down, I experienced so much: 👑 Laying down my crown and surrendering my own plans. 🔥 An encounter with the Lord while in the thick of motherhood, which deeply encouraged me. 🌱 Seeing Him begin to grow and break things in my bloodline for His glory. 🤝 And meeting mentors who poured truth and vision into me.

I pray this encourages you to say yes to God, even when it feels small, unplanned, or inconvenient—because He is always faithful.

Tracy explained in full detail, her walk into becoming a mom and how it wasn’t an easy process but she is so glad now that she went through it and is now able to connect with others trying to become parents. Not to mention how God created a whole business for her out of it. Her story also has God’s handprints written all over it and I am honestly very thankful I was able to give her a spot to share her testimony of becoming a mom as I truly believe it is going to encourage a lot of you out there wanting to be mommas and going down a similar difficult route. God is truly so good.

I first want to wish you and your family a VERY Merry Christmas. However, that may look like this year for you I hope it is peaceful and enjoyable. I know my holiday will be very low-key with lots of rest as I prepare for my last month of pregnancy.

Today it is just me talking and I am pretty excited about it, as i give you 5 reflective questions that i got from Coach Francine and her coaching program email. As mentioned she and I have recorded her episode will be airing at the end of Jan 2025.

In sharing these 5 reflective questions, I emphasize praying about them and truly bringing the Lord in when reflecting over the year and thinking about the new year. I do this purposefully because I believe it is super important. We as believers want to do everything we can to glorify him well one of the easiest ways to do that is by praying to him and truly letting him in to what's going on.

I also mentioned I would list the questions in case you missed them in the show so here they are.

1. What did I learn about myself in 2024?

2. What areas of my life need more intention?

3. What is one bold step of action I have been avoiding?

4. How can I better steward my time, resources, and talents?

5. What word or theme will define the new year?

Also write out a small list of goals you believe God is calling you to do in the new year.

I hope this is helpful and I am excited to see where the Lord takes you in the 2025.

In Today’s episode, Claire explains her journey to Jesus, starting out as a complete atheist who was ready to mock others for believing in God, to having a full-on encounter with him and realizing he’s real, along with his word. 

She also gives great insight into how new believers can start reading the Word in sizable, digestible chunks and fully see how much God truly loves them while understanding what is happening in the text. She shows how taking your time in scripture is the way to go. There is no need to rush, God isn’t in a rush and he is always speaking to you. 

Claire also explains how she thinks one of the biggest things we are missing in the modern day is rushing through the bible or bible plan to say, check I read x amount of chapters today when a lot of times God could be telling us to read something over and over until we get the full meaning or whatever else he is trying to show us from that specific part of scripture. 

Another great aspect Claire explains is carrying the presence of Jesus so much that you don’t have to tell anyone you’re a believer. Instead, you let them see that you are by the way you live and act. Then, they come up and ask what is different, giving you, as the believer, the opportunity to share about Jesus. 

In sharing all this Claire reminds us to keep our trust in the Lord throughout every season.
