Is it Ironic? Do You think? And does it even matter?

In today's episode I'm joined by Jess from Wonder 45 and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds.

I was lucky enough to spend time over Zoom with Jess where we get to deep dive one of the biggest albums of the 90's. However, the technology failed us towards the end, but it actually added a bit of fun chaos to the show.

We also touch on Glastonbury, straddling the two worlds of Camden and boarding school.

Russell was incredibly honest during our chat and we discuss the loneliness he felt as a teenager. We also discuss the accidentally genius marketing from Weezer and we celebrate 20 years of Bloc Party’s debut album, Silent Alarm.

For episode 8 of THIS Album, I am joined by rising Pop Punk Superstar Julian GK and we are diving into the 90's Californian Punk scene via the scene's flag bearers, Rancid.

But not just Rancid, we discuss Julian's journey from Costa Rica to London, compare the punk scene from both sides of the pond and we question the validity of Mario Balotelli's mohawk.

For todays episode of the podcast I am joined by a man who’s ever changing career in the music and comedy industry has seen him work with an array of national treasures.

He’s even worked with the band that we’re discussing today, the almighty Interpol and their seismic debut album, Turn On The Bright Lights.

Though I’ve known Elliott for a long time, it’s not as though we’re best mates and I can’t pretend to know him too well. But bloody hell, we got on like a house on fire for this recording! It was one of the most effortless conversations of the show so far and we had a proper laugh.
