| WHAT OLD TESTAMENT TEMPLES CAN TEACH US ABOUT OUR OWN TEMPLE ACTIVITY | 20 Mar 2026 | 00:48:12 | |
Richard O. Cowan was a BYU Professor who wrote many articles about the relationship between Temples through out the ages. In our day, we cannot fully understand the nature of the ordinances and covenants made in any of the Lord's Holy Houses without a study of how and why these covenants were made anciently. Everything, even including the building of these structures have been received by revelation, showing God's will in all things. Patterns continually repeat themselves and it is no different when it comes to Temples. In this article Brother Cowan, cites the many evidences that temples existed in every dispensation in one form or another. Everything in the temples today directly correlate with Moses' Tabernacle, King Solomon's Temple, and many more. A study of the past, helps us to understand our responsibility in the present, thus giving us more opportunity in our day to realize the great endowment of power that we have been given.

| THE NEWBURY NEWS LOGAN TEMPLE MIRACLE...THE REST OF THE STORY: Conversation with Colin Williams | 18 Mar 2026 | 01:15:12 | |
In 1847, a mighty miracle occurred where a newspaper from England arrived in Logan, Utah, 3 days later. The result was that many Ballard ancestors were able to receive their temple ordinances. While this miracle is well known, there were other miracles experienced by the saints in England during this same timeframe. In this episode, we review the initial miracle, and then speak with Colin Williams who researched the experiences of the saints who decided to stay in Thatcham, England while their friends and families left to be with the Saints in Nauvoo and beyond. In studying the lives of the faithful saints left behind, Colin found their stories to be inspiring and uplifting. Colin and his friend, Rachel Guy, take us on a tour of the very cemetery that was mentioned in The Newbury News article by the "Wanderer". Truly, the Lord is merciful in His caring about the one. Each of us can bear testimony of the love that is offered as we choose to be continually gathered. It may not be as big as the Logan Temple miracle, but it is just as miraculous none the less.
| THE ENDOWMENT: Conversation with Dr. Bradley R. Wilcox | 17 Mar 2026 | 01:03:33 | |
In this episode Dr. Bradley R. Wilcox discusses how we can make our temple worship more meaningful through understanding the temple endowment more fully. The Gathering of Israel is the most important work taking place on Earth today, and Brother Wilcox describes how it is meant to be preparatory for the Second Coming of the Savior Jesus Christ. Through our efforts in the gathering we can experience mighty miracles, even thinning of the veil experiences that help us to gather our family on both sides of the veil. Brother Wilcox shares a sacred experience where his wife Debi feels her mother's presence from beyond the veil. Truly as we choose to be involved in this sacred work, we become like our Heavenly Parents and emulate the example of the Savior as we become saviors with a little "s".
| GATHERING OF THE GATHERERS | 13 Mar 2026 | 00:47:05 | |

Fellow gatherers came from near and far to meet with each other, draw strength from one another's testimony, and celebrate the work of the Gathering of Israel. In this episode Tia will recap the events of that night, and her impressions of why the Lord wanted this particular Gathering to take place. She will also read a miraculous Thinning of the Veil story about a women who survived being shot because of the role she is playing of savior with a little s, for her family on the other side of the veil. Many miracles took place for this dear sister, because she is a Gatherer. This particular Gathering event was a culmination of many small miracles which will lead to many mighty ones in the future. It truly is all about the Gathering friends!!!!
| A BLACK INK GOLDMINE!! A NEW ZEALAND NEWSPAPER BREAKTHROUGH | 12 Mar 2026 | 01:02:10 | |
Sometimes when doing genealogical research, we get spiritual promptings to take a certain class, look in a certain place, or focus on one family in particular. Colette in this episode describes her revelatory process that began with a simple thought that lead her to attending a class at Roots Tech. That class lead her to other sources including a New Zealand Newspaper site called Papers Past. She uses Papers Past, Family Search, and Ancestry to show the process of taking one step at a time in navigating finding lost families. It is always helping when searching out one's ancestor's, to begin with a prayer, pay special attention to spiritual impressions, and be willing to follow that guidance wherever it takes you. Trusting the Lord, in the end will produce mighty miracles and build a stronger testimony of the Spirit of Elijah.
| WE ARE PART OF EACH OTHER"S GLORY: Interview with Rosalie Davison | 11 Mar 2026 | 01:17:50 | |
Rosalie found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Australia when she was 18. As she learned the doctrines of the gospel, her love for her ancestors grew exponentially and her desire to gather her family to the temple become a life long pursuit. Rosalie was gifted with many revelatory gifts that helped in gathering her family on both sides of the veil. As the matriarch of her family, Rosalie set the example for her daughters to seek for and obtain revelation in many different ways...helping save fathers, mothers, and children who had been lost for generations. In her service of saving her family she has found increased spiritual revelatory gifts, increased priesthood power in her own life, and more connection with her husband who is now on the other side of the veil. As she puts it, "We are part of each other's glory!"
| SPIRITUAL GIFTS LINKING GENERATIONS: Conversation with Mandy Crane | 10 Mar 2026 | 00:57:50 | |
Mandy Crane was raised in a small town in Australia, in a family where spiritual gifts were the norm not the exception. Her mother, Rosalie, talked extensively at the dinner table about dreams, miracles and visits from the other side of the veil while she Gathered Israel. This encouragement helped Mandy to understand her own spiritual gifts and gave her the desire to help her ancestors in her own way. Through the years, Mandy has experienced the same help from beyond the veil in many ways including dreams, promptings, and other revelatory gifts. Using these gifts have resulted in many ancestors, including many lost children, being found and reunited with their families on the other side of the veil. Through Mandy's tireless efforts many who were once lost, have now been found.
| "THE EXALTED LORD": JOHN'S VISION OF THE 144,000-Richard Draper, BYU Studies 2009 | 06 Mar 2026 | 00:29:23 | |
The Book of Revelation contains several visions of the Savior, Jesus Christ. It's chapters are full of symbolic meanings and prophesies of the latter days. John sees 144,000 high priests clothed in white robes laboring in the Lord's vineyard for the final time. Richard Draper describes in detail who the Lord is referring to and what work that they have yet to preform. This article, "The Exalted Lord" was part of a book called, "Shedding Light on the New Testament", originally published in 2009. Richard takes the reader through the meanings and symbolism behind all four of John's visions of the Savior in the book of Revelation. All of them prophesy about the swift messengers that will live in the latter days and the mighty work that these messengers will undertake. As we Gather Israel, we are acting as the Lord's "sickles", and reaping while their is still time. Filling the storehouses of the Lord's people with priesthood blessings overflowing.
| WHERE THEY WALKED: DISCOVERING ANCESTORS THROUGH FAMILYSEARCH MAPS | 05 Mar 2026 | 00:10:09 | |
Have you ever wondered where your ancestors walked or the surroundings of their day to day life? In this episode Colette teaches how to use FamilySearch Maps to understand your ancestors even more than you did before. Maps is a great tool in understanding what shaped the everyday decisions that your ancestors faced based on location. FamilySearch Maps is an under utilized tool that can actually help you in your genealogical research to find your missing loved ones. Maps should be in the tool box of every genealogist from beginner to advanced skill levels and is a fun way to connect to those who came before you in unexpected ways.
| ANCESTRAL SPIRITUAL PHENOMENA: Story of the Jonathan Harriman Hale Family | 04 Mar 2026 | 00:25:18 | |
In 1834, Jonathan Hale and his wife Olive, were baptized as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. That began a journey of soul stretching, discipleship for both. They were determined to serve the Lord at all costs and to do whatever was asked of them as they followed the prophet Joseph Smith and began to serve in God's Kingdom on Earth. Unfortunately, during their journey west, both were taken home to the other side of the veil, leaving small children to cross the plains by themselves. With the aid of Heber C. Kimball, those children made it safely to the Salt Lake Valley, with their testimonies intact. As the church grew and temples began to built up in numerous places the children knew they needed to be close to one. Logan valley became their new home as there was a newly built temple there. Through a series of miracles they acquired numerous ancestral records. They were stalwart in preforming the ordinances for their dead with the help of then temple president, Samuel Roskelley. At the completion of this family's work, a strange, miraculous, spiritual phenomena occurred at the Logan temple and was witnessed by many near and far. Truly the parting of the heavens has, is, and will always be a part of the sacred work that is done in any temple around the world.
| THE 144,000 GATHERERS | 03 Mar 2026 | 01:21:46 | |
In the book of Revelation and in various other scriptures, there is reference to a group of High Priests who will be called and elected to bring others of the house of Israel to the Church of the Firstborn in the last days. Who is this group? Is it some elite club with very few members or are there many humble servants of the Lord called to the 144,000? Are there righteous women who will be invited to take upon themselves this Holy calling? This group of servants will be called upon to do a mighty work through priesthood power and mighty manifestations. What exactly is this work and when will it be accomplished? Our efforts in the Gathering of Israel today echo the work of this sanctified quorum. As we seek to make our calling and election sure, gather Israel, and endure to the end, we will find that the qualification to be a part of that holy group is being made sure.
| "ON THE FRONTIER", Clark G. Gilbert, BYU Hawaii, Nov. 2010 | 27 Feb 2026 | 00:33:20 | |
In a BYU Hawaii speech given on November 23, 2010, then Brother Clark G. Gilbert gave a talk about private and institutional frontiers. He related some advice that Brother Kim B. Clark gave to him, "If you want to know the Savior, go to the frontier because that is where you will see him in action. It is at the frontier where he does His work." When we look at the work of the Gathering of Israel through that lens, we understand that there is a largely untapped frontier, the Spirit World, where so many have passed on and need our help. As we understand the role of Redeemer and Savior through the example of Jesus Christ, we will find Him doing the work of bringing to pass the immortality and eternal lives of our Heavenly Father's children. Truly there is a sacred invitation from the Lord Jesus Christ, to meet Him on the fields of the frontier, to gather the wheat safely into the garners, before His glorious return.
| AI, FAMILY SEARCH AND MY HERITAGE MIRACLE | 26 Feb 2026 | 00:38:30 | |
Doing genealogical work will most assuredly require miracles in some form or another. Thankfully, with the continuing addition of new technologies these miracles are becoming more regular for anyone seeking to know who their ancestors are. In this episode Colette demonstrates one of her own miracles as she implemented the use of AI, FamilySearch, and My Heritage. Technology is truly changing the face of how we find our families on both sides of the veil.

| REPAIRERS OF THE BREACH: Conversation with Adele Marcum | 24 Feb 2026 | 01:26:02 | |
In Isaiah 58:12 we read a prophesy and a description of a distinct group of saints living in the latter days. "And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in." Since the days of Adam, many have chosen to walk away from the covenant path or have not been given the opportunity to make sacred covenants with the Savior. The generations, you might say, are in need of much healing and repairing. Adele Marcum, has spent most of her life trying to repair the breach that has occurred within her own family and in the broken lineal chain of others as well. She works as a professional genealogist and has worked some of that time at FamilySearch and Ancestry. In this episode she testifies of the many miracles that happened behind the scenes during her time at FamilySearch. She also testifies of her own thinning of the veil experiences that helped to shape and mold her work in the Gathering of Israel. Truly as the Lord prophesied in Isaiah, there would be many saviors, willing and able in the last days to save the generations. The healing and strengthening of the family of Adam is now underway in temples all across the world, restoring the promises made to the fathers and repairing the many breaches in God's family. Giving hope to millions upon millions.
| "Hope of Israel": Russell M. Nelson & Wendy Nelson, June 3, 2018 | 20 Feb 2026 | 00:50:37 | |
The late prophet, Russell M. Nelson, consistently and emphatically declared that the most important work taking place on earth today, is the the gathering of Israel. To an audience of youth around the world, he taught that our focus should be to gather God's children on both sides of the veil, in preparation for the Second Coming of the Savior, Jesus Christ. Sister Wendy Nelson, also proclaimed that the gathering is happening now in all of the tribes scattered across the Earth. Since the day of that broadcast, June 3, 2018, the work of the gathering has moved forward at an accelerated pace through increased missionary service and through temple and family history work. It is a work of upmost importance in this last dispensation and we have been invited to participate in the effort and miracles that are inherent in the gathering of Israel.
| CONNECTING MY HERITAGE AND ANCESTRY TO FAMILY SEARCH | 19 Feb 2026 | 00:32:03 | |
Some of the major platforms in genealogical research and data, My Heritage, Ancestry and FamilySearch, haven't necessarily connected very well together in the past. In today's Gathering Academy Episode, Colette shows how to connect and navigate within the different platforms, making research a little easier, less time consuming and way less frustrating.
| REVELATORY MANIFESTATIONS WHILE THE PROPHETIC MANTLE FELL ON BRIGHAM YOUNG | 18 Feb 2026 | 00:44:22 | |
After the prophet, Joseph Smith was murdered, the church faced uncertainty as to it's future. The members were left shaken and confused on what the path looked like moving forward. Who was to take the prophetic mantle. During this time of great upheaval a few men stepped forward to profess their right to step into the prophetic line of succession. On August 8, 1844 the saints met to resolve this matter near the temple in Nauvoo. To aide the saints at the time in helping them know who the right man to sustain as the next prophet, the Lord opened the eyes and ears of many as the prophetic mantle fell on Brigham Young. Most congregants either saw, felt, or heard Brigham Young appear as Joseph Smith, confirming the Lord's will that Brigham Young was to be the successor of Joseph Smith, allowing the church to move forward in it's rightful place within the restoration of all things in the latter days. The Lord has proved time and time again through out history that He is guiding and directing all things through revelatory, thinning of the veil experiences to all who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
| GATHERING THE LOST TEN TRIBES | 17 Feb 2026 | 01:16:37 | |
Many prophecies about the latter days are being fulfilled in our days. The signals that the return of the ten tribes had begun were the coming forth of the Book of Mormon and Moses restoring the priesthood keys necessary so that Israel could again be gathered and the Ten Tribes restored again into the covenant fold of God. What does the restoring of the Ten Tribes actually entail? Does this mighty gathering happen through missionary work or through a massive group migration? In this episode we discuss these possibilities with doctrinal sources and citations. More importantly, we study our role as latter day, covenant keeping, members of the House of Israel in bringing them home. Through temple work, we are preparing the way for the Ten Tribes, glorious return.
| "ENDOWED WITH HIS POWER, YOU ARE READY TO LEAD": Barbara Morgan Gardner, BYU, July 11, 2023 | 13 Feb 2026 | 00:48:43 | |
In the house of the Lord, those who enter, choose to make sacred covenants, yoking themselves to the Savior, Jesus Christ. Taking part in these sacred ordinances endows you with power from on high. But what does that power look and feel like in our regular, everyday lives? What are some of those inherent spiritual gifts that can aid each of us to help prepare the world for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ? In this episode Barbara Morgan Gardner helps to answer some of these very common questions. This talk was originally given at a BYU Devotional on July 11, 2023. She teaches that each of us were foreordained to gather Israel and that inherent within this sacred calling we are given spiritual gifts and revelations to help us bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of men and women through all generations of time. We have the capacity to lead out in preparing the world for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ because of the endowment of power that we receive in temples, receiving the power of the Savior into our lives.

| THE SPIRIT OF ELIJAH WORKING BEHIND PRISON WALLS | 11 Feb 2026 | 00:14:28 | |
Our Heavenly Father is in relentless pursuit of all of His sons and daughters on both sides of the veil. There is no place that is found on earth that He does not go in order to pursue the one, including in prison. In this episode, a story is related by J. Richard Clarke, in a BYUI Speech given on February of 1993, about the loving, mercy of the Savior Jesus Christ. A prisoner in the Utah State Prison, experienced healing as he helped in his own way, to free souls through family history work. Truly a remarkable story of a prisoner helping to free prisoners on the other side of the veil and the miraculous thinning of the veil experience that helped to facilitate that. The Spirit of Elijah is remarkable in it's reach to span all places on Earth, even the unexpected ones, to gather the Lord's family home.
| TEAMS OF LIGHT: Conversation with Jessica Hardiman | 10 Feb 2026 | 00:49:22 | |
Jessica Hardiman, grew up in difficult circumstances. One huge part of finding peace during those tumultuous years was having the influence of her grandmother who constantly reminded Jessica that she was a daughter of God. Later in life, Jessica believes it was the influence of her grandmother as well as other family members on the other side of the veil, that lead her back to the gospel of Jesus Christ. She calls them her "Team of Light". Now a year into her coming back to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she is experiencing the gospel in amazing, revelatory ways as she becomes a savior for her family on both sides of the veil. Her focus on the Gathering of Israel and attending the temple regularly have deepened her understanding of the Savior and the pivotal role she plays in her own generations in bringing them unto the Savior.
| "5 WAYS THAT ANGELS COMMUNICATE WITH US": Donald W. Parry, LDS Living, Sept. 21, 2020 | 06 Feb 2026 | 00:14:03 | |
Angels can communicate with Heavenly Father's mortal children in a variety of ways. Elder David W. Parry covers some of these spiritually communicative ways in an article written in LDS Living on Sept. 21, 2020. Through his doctrinal research he noted 5 specific ways that one can experience these revelatory manifestations. The Lord can, for His own purposes, allow spirit to spirit communication to bring about His great purposes.

| ANCESTRAL PROTECTIONS FOR MISSIONARIES | 04 Feb 2026 | 00:17:36 | |
The Gathering of Israel occurs on both sides of the veil. The Lord promised in the early beginnings of this last dispensation to His co laborers in the vineyard, "And whoso receiveth you, there I will be also, for I will go before your face. I will be on your right hand and on your left, and my Spirit shall be in your hearts, and mine angels round about you, to bear you up" (D&C 84:88). That promise is being fulfilled in the lives of missionaries serving all over the world. Angels continuously watch over and protect this mighty army of the Lord's servants in many different ways, most often through ancestors. These miraculous occurrences whether seen or unseen have always been a part of the ministry. The stories related in this episode are just a few of the testimonies that are evidence that the Lord's watchful eye and protective hand move upon this work on both sides of the veil.
| SPIRIT TO SPIRIT COMMUNICATION | 03 Feb 2026 | 01:17:51 | |
Boyd K. Packer said, "“Should an angel converse with you, neither you nor he would be confined to corporeal sight or sound in order to communicate. For there is that spiritual process described by the Prophet Joseph by which pure intelligence can flow into our minds and by which we can know what we need to know without either the effort of study or the passage of time, because that is revelation.” In this episode we study the doctrines and principles surrounding spirit to spirit communications from the other side of the veil. Angels speak by the power of the Holy Ghost and therefore the pattern is the same for our loved ones who have passed to the Spirit World. What methods of communication can and will be used? For what reasons would a mission be given for angelic ministrations? Studying the "tongue of angels" is an opportunity to understand our deeper connections to those on the other side of the veil.
| THE LORD'S PEOPLE RECEIVE REVELATION: Bruce R. McConkie, Apr. 1971 | 30 Jan 2026 | 00:17:18 | |
Revelation and visions "are around us all the time...but we do not hear or see or experience (them) because we have not tuned our souls to the wave band on which the Holy Ghost is broadcasting," Bruce R. McConkie. The visions and experiences of great men and women in the gospel of Jesus Christ are available to all who seek and who also understand the laws by which they are communicated. If we will turn our studies to the language in which the Holy Spirit communicates we will find many answers we seek and revelatory experiences will unfold. Bruce R. McConkie, in this talk given in April 1971 at General Conference, outlines the steps and processes that are inherent in thinning the veil. He also encourages all to seek for these supernal revelations and to believe that the Lord wants all who desire to come unto Him in this way.

In today's Gathering Academy episode, Colette shows how to transcribe written documents, edit old photos, and create research help outlines. With the use of this and other technologies our ancestral past becomes a rich narrative of people and experiences instead of just detailed dates and names. Using Gemini can help your genealogy become alive and broaden it's scope of meaning and purpose.
| WENDY NELSON'S THINNING OF THE VEIL EXPERIENCES | 28 Jan 2026 | 00:15:39 | |
Like a lot of latter day saints, Wendy Nelson, did not enjoy family history. In fact the operative word that she described when even thinking about doing genealogy was "guilt". That changed one day as she decided to pray about and for those who needed help on the other side of the veil. What followed that and many other prayers were many miracles and thinning of the veil experiences. In an article written for LDS Living magazine, on November 11, 2019, she describes in detail the angelic interventions that are inherent in the Gathering of Israel. Sister Nelson testifies and encourages all of us to seek after our ancestors and be prepared for the opening of the heavens that follows.
| HOW DO SPIRITS COMMUNICATE?: Interview with Brent L. Top | 27 Jan 2026 | 01:09:48 | |
In the doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, the opening of the heavens constitutes in part, revelation being sent from the other side of the veil. These revelatory experiences are received through various means and ways and very often received from heavenly messengers. How does heaven and earth communicate with each other? Our spirits are more refined and inherently recognize these communications as being familiar. Through the Holy Ghost, who is a Spirit, we can receive instruction, reproof, and directions on how to Gather Israel more effectively. Brent Top, describes what he learned over the course of his studies that he hadn't contemplated before and how this can be a satisfying study for anyone who desires to have eyes to see and ears to hear. It's all about the wavelength! Brent L. Top, "What's on the Other Side" Book: https://www.amazon.com/Whats-Other-Side-Gospel-Teaches/dp/1609070461 Brent L. | "THANKS FOR THE COVENANT": Russell M. Nelson, BYU, Nov. 22, 1988 | 23 Jan 2026 | 00:32:53
The House of Israel has ever been an important part in the Lord's kingdom here upon the earth. His covenant's and promises have extended through this familial ancestral line from the beginning. In the this talk, originally given on November 22, 1988, at BYU, then Elder Russell M. Nelson, explains the origins of how this family came to be. What was so important about the promises made to those who entered into this eternal family unit and what does that have to do with us in these latter days? Promises from the Lord matter. Covenants with Jesus Christ matter. And we in the latter days, matter to our ancient fathers and mothers because we will heal and restore that which has been lost.
| AI TO THE RESCUE! Help Deciphering Hard to Read Documents | 22 Jan 2026 | 00:28:36 | |
Are there old letters, hard to read documents, or family history records that you don't understand because they are in foreign languages? In this episode Colette details how Gemini helped her in deciphering various family documents. This new technology facilitates the adding of lost memories, allows for more effective research, and ultimately helps to add more family members to your family tree. The Lord said that He would hasten His work in His time. Truly AI has been a technological miracle in helping reunite families on both sides of the veil.
| JOSEPH SMITH'S VISITATIONS FROM MANY FOREFATHERS | 21 Jan 2026 | 00:50:30 | |
To bring about the purposes of our Heavenly Father and Savior, angels have been sent from the very beginning to His children here upon the earth. In the early stages of the last dispensation, Joseph Smith was called upon to be the prophet of the restoration. Many doctrines, priesthood power, and other related instruction related to the restoring of the promises made to the ancient fathers were restored through angelic ministrations. Not just any set of angels, the ancient fathers themselves helped to restore this knowledge in the latter days. Adam, Peter, Paul, Moroni, and others were among the numerous visits to Joseph Smith in his lifetime, restoring the lost knowledge, and promises that would once again, unite the whole of our Heavenly Father's family. Praise to the man who communed with the heavens!
| SACRED PROMISES OF OUR ANCIENT FATHERS AND MOTHERS | 20 Jan 2026 | 01:23:37 | |
Through out the generations of time, beginning with Adam and Eve, the Lord has always extended promised blessings to those children on the earth who make and keep sacred covenants with Him. Our scriptures are replete with promises of land, posterity, and other cherished gifts. While some of these blessings are well known, there are many blessings that are clearly not understood within the Abrahamic Covenant. What are some of these lesser known promised blessings? How do we as His children in the last days attain to these incomprehensible blessings? It is left to us to offer these sacred opportunities of being blessed through the Abrahamic covenant to all of our ancient fathers and mothers. Thus fulfilling prophecy in real time, in the turning of the hearts of all people to Jesus Christ.

There is much to learn about the Spirit World and what happens after we die, and Brother Satterfield adds to our learning about this sacred subject.

| "DON'T PRAY FOR ME, PRAY FOR MY BROTHER" | 14 Jan 2026 | 00:15:28 | |
President Joseph F. Smith said, "I believe we move and have our being in the presence of heavenly messengers and of heavenly beings... I claim that we live in their presence, they see us, they are solicitous for our welfare, they love us now more than ever. For now they see the dangers that beset us; they can comprehend better than ever before, the weaknesses that are liable to mislead us into dark and forbidden paths. They see the temptations and evils that beset us in life and the proneness of mortal beings to yield to temptation and wrong doing; hence their solicitude for us and their love for us and their desire for our well being must be greater than that which we feel for ourselves.” When we participate in the Gathering of Israel sometimes we are only focused on the blessings and opportunities that we are offering to our loved ones on the other side of the veil. However, there is also help coming from the other side of the veil on our behalf, to help us navigate this mortal existence. Nathan Sizemore had a Thinning of the Veil experience in a celestial room where a long since passed friend, urged him to pray and help his brother on this side of the veil who is facing addiction, and other extreme challenges. His testimony reminds us that we cannot be saved without those on the other side of the veil, and they also cannot be saved without our sacrificial efforts to bring them to Christ through covenantal relationship. The help we receive from those on the other side of the veil is yet more evidence that we have a loving Heavenly Father who has a mighty plan to help all of His children on either side of the veil.
| A GLIMPSE INTO THE SPIRIT WORLD: Conversation with Michael Solesbee | 13 Jan 2026 | 01:11:05 | |
President Brigham Young taught that the Spirit World is on this earth, around us. Many individuals through the generations have seen into the spirit world, most notably, President Joseph F. Smith, who helped further our understanding of the work that those on the other side of the veil are involved in. Every day members can also get glimpses from time to time about the what is to follow our mortal experience. Michael Solesbee was blessed to see a glimpse into the sacred beyond. He was taught things about the gathering of Israel and given a forewarning into what is near future held for him and his wife. He testifies that the Spirit world and the plan of salvation are real, and that the work of the Gathering is progressing on the other side of the veil.
| ETERNAL LIFE & CELESTIAL MARRIAGE: Bruce R. McConkie, BYUI, Nov. 1984 | 09 Jan 2026 | 00:43:35 | |
Eternal Life according to God's definition is to live as He lives. One of the main attributes about God's life is that He lives in a Family Unit. He, along with our Heavenly Mother, live in the Patriarchal order within the New and Everlasting Covenant of Marriage. Within this eternal union, Father and Mother continue the family unit for eternity, offering their own offspring the chance to become as They are. Bruce R. McConkie, testifies of this beautiful doctrine and teaches that for us to become as They are, we must enter in to the same covenants that we might also receive eternal life with Them in the mansions above. This talk was originally given on November 6, 1984 at a BYUI Devotional.

| IMMORTALITY AND ETERNAL LIVES | 07 Jan 2026 | 01:07:50 | |
In one of the great revelatory experiences of Moses, he was taught an essential truth and confirming identity of God's sons and daughters. "For behold, this is my work and my glory, to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." (Moses 1:39) This profound statement of truth should provide pause in contemplating one's own mortality, future ordinations, and the interconnectedness of the work of the Gathering of Israel. What exactly is immortality and eternal life? How does eternal life progress to the plurality of eternal lives? Everything in the temple points us to the glory and work of our Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we come to know Them through saving Their other sons and daughters, we gain an advantage in the Resurrection, grown in Their power and glory, and most importantly become like Them in every sense of the word.
| "...THEY SHALL REPAIR THE WASTE CITIES": Interview with Colette Hokanson | 06 Jan 2026 | 01:00:03 | |
"And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations." (Isaiah 61:4). Colette flew across the globe to Krakow, Poland, based on a revelatory dream. She knew the Lord had sent her there to reunite families who had been forgotten. She did not know what amazing miracles and manifestations that would follow this thinning of the veil experience, but she trusted in the Lord. The prophecy in Isaiah was literally being fulfilled in a some small way as she began the seemingly impossible task of repairing "old waste cities", using her family history skills, following the promptings of the Spirit and having faith in those assurances. Colette through this miraculous undertaking proclaimed liberty to the captives, planted many trees of righteousness, and as Isaiah describes, became a "vinedresser" of the generations.

| TAKING UPON US THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST: Dallin H. Oaks, Apr. 1985 | 26 Dec 2025 | 00:22:42 | |
Every Sabbath day countless members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day partake in a sacred ordinance. In the sacrament promises are made and blessings are extended. One of the promises that we weekly agree to is that we are willing to take upon us the name of Jesus Christ. To keep a covenant you have to understand it in its fullness. In this talk given by then Elder Dallin H. Oaks, in April of 1985, he masterfully teaches about this most important eternal doctrine. This promise does not just stop at our meetinghouse sacrament tables, but extends through the temple, into eternity. When we keep this covenant the blessings are incomprehensible and salvific.

| SACRED GATHERING NAMES OF JESUS CHRIST | 24 Dec 2025 | 01:06:22 | |
Every Sunday, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints gather to partake of the sacred emblems of the Sacrament. In that holy ordinance we covenant that we are willing to take upon ourselves of the name of the Savior. What does this mean? How do we keep this weekly covenant if we do not yet fully understand what it means. The Savior is referred to by many names. In this episode we will study some of the "Gathering" names of the Jesus Christ. As we start to understand the meaning of each name, we can greater understand the powers associated with this sacred covenant. As President Dallin H. Oaks teaches, the sacrament leads us to the temple as we serve in our roles as Gatherers emulating the patterns of Jesus Christ. The blessings and powers that follow those who willingly act as the Savior would in gathering scattered Israel, can scarcely comprehend the blessings that can be claimed through that sanctifying service.

| MEETING JESUS IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD: Allen D. Haynie, BYU Devotional, Oct. 2023 | 17 Dec 2025 | 00:37:46 | |
"The temple lies at the center of strengthening our faith and spiritual fortitude because the Savior and His doctrine are the very heart of the temple. Everything taught in the temple, through instruction and through the Spirit, increases our understanding of Jesus Christ," said President Russell M. Nelson. Oftentimes when we attend the temple we are thinking about everything except the Savior and yet each temple is a sacred, holy, literal house of God. We can know more about the Savior there than anywhere else. How can we learn more about Him, more about His love, and receive more revelation from Him in these holy edifices? Elder Allen Haynie teaches some ways that we can improve our worship, and have our eyes more opened to the reality that we can figuratively, symbolically, and literally, find Jesus Christ in the temple.
