We asked for YOUR spiciest hot takes regarding Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, and boy oh boy, you guys delivered, SO MUCH SO that this will be PART 1 of a two part episode! We're reacting to all sorts of takes, including: is Tears a great experience, or just glorified DLC? Is Cece's Mushroom hat better than the Couples Mask? Would Kohga have been a better choice of villain than Ganondorf? Do fighting bosses again in the Depths diminish the impact of fighting them in a dungeon? Speaking of, are the dungeons of Tears and Breath of the Wild better than many traditional dungeons?

This week, however, we're putting a bit of a twist on the gimmick by inviting our friend and Zelda Dungeon social media manager McKenna Krebs on the show and using her blog, zeldaisthegirl.com, as inspiration for our questions! Based on FOUR YEARS of wishlist's, we go through, read off, and assign a percentage to everything McKenna hopes to see in Breath of the Wild 2! Swimming and diving? Repairable weapons? The accordion as a musical instrument? A rebuilt Hyrule? More involvement from the new Champions? The Minish making a return? And of course, the million dollar question: is Princess Zelda a playable character?

We were big fans of the first, so we had really high hopes for this sequel, and for the most part, it delivers! Come listen as we dissect the dungeons of the game, praise the overworld, review the items, and ask about the future of the Blossom Tales series as it now finds itself at a cross roads: either lean into being a Zelda clone even more, or start to forge its own identity.
