The issue of Islamism in Britain is back to the top of the agenda. It was central to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s speech on March 1st; George Galloway declared “This is for Gaza” on winning the Rochdale by-election; since October 7th Hamas-sympathetic groups have taken the streets of London every week and now even Parliamentary protocol has been overturned to protect MPs from Islamist threats.

So how have we got here?

Who better to to enlighten us than Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Ayaan is the epitome of courage. An apostate twice over, first laving Islam and then after becoming a prominent New Atheist, she has now converted to Christianity.

She explains how Islamism came to Britain in the first place. We discuss the problematic term “Islamophobia” which has been adopted by the Labour Party. The problem of grooming gangs, the failure of interrogation and much else.

Where is there common ground between Christians and Muslims? Who better to ask than a woman has been both. We talk about her conversion to Christianity and the response of New Atheists like Richard Dawkins.

Ayaan is one of my heroes. I first read her book ‘Infidel’ ten years ago. To sit with her was an honour. I only wish it hadn’t been to discuss such a dire situation.

Eylon Levy is the leading Israeli government spokesperson. You will have seen him doing media hit after media hit, fiercely defending Israel throughout the Israel-Hamas War. But you will not have seen him like this.

We sit down together at the historic Jaffa Hotel Chapel in Israel for a deeper dive, a closer examination of what he’s been saying. It was an opportunity to better understand the mind of the Israeli government through the mouth of one man.

How did the October 7th Massacre happen? How did a country with the most stringent security in the world be so overcome? Can Israel actually win this war? Is pulverising Gaza actually a sensible strategy?

Can an idea - the Islamist-Nationalist ideology of Hamas - actually be defeated? What does a man learn about human nature, human evil, totalitarianism, and God in Russia’s most brutal prison labor camps? Could it help one predict the precipitous rise of antisemitism across the world? Natan Sharanksy saw it all coming.

Natan's life sits at the nexus of progressive antisemitism and Soviet totalitarianism. Nine years in the gulag on trumped-up charges, but in large part owing to his attempted immigration to Israel. When finally free, Sharansky served Israel in politics, including as Deputy Prime Minister.

I spoke with him in Jerusalem to discuss the ongoing Israel-Hamas Conflict, the power of left-wing antisemitism, the triumph of neo-marxism in the West, and, of course, his time in the gulag.

Since October 7th, Douglas Murray has been in Israel covering the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.

I spoke with Douglas at the Jaffa Hotel, in its historic chapel. It is, without doubt, the most stirring interview I have ever conducted. Douglas has been somewhat of a lone voice defending Jews and scrutinising Hamas in worldwide media. We discuss the harsh realities of war, the end of the two-state solution, and the road to victory.

I sensed Douglas’ anger that his 2017 book ‘The Strange Death of Europe’ turned out to be prophetic. Britain is in a dire state. The civil service is captured, the institutions corrupted, the media hapless, and politicians pusillanimous. Be it the grooming gangs, Katherine Birbalsingh’s fight in the High Court, or two-tiered policing. The state of Britain is contemptible.

Has multiculturalism failed? Is Islam compatible with British values? Our country has fallen to new depths, never so apparent as we witness the weekly pro-Palestine, anti-Israel marches in the wake of the October 7th slaughter.

But most striking of all, Douglas makes a cry for his country to wake up, stand up and find its courage again.

But the long and short of it is that I decided it was better to live honestly than to stay silent, better to speak freely than to self-censor. Well, two and a half years later, I can truthfully say, it's a much better way to live.

It was a privilege.

Well now I'm going independent. I’ll continue interviewing leading writers, authors, artists, journalists, musicians, scientists, entrepreneurs and heterodox voices across the world. Back then, I started because I was trying to make sense of what the hell was going on. Well, it's 2024 now, and things are a whole lot more fucked up.

Whilst students across America have erupted in protest since October 7th, something similar has happened in Britain. The Progressive movement, dominant amongst university students, has adopted the Palestinian cause with similar fervour as it did the BLM movement in 2020.

But what exactly is going on behind the scenes?

I sat down with pre-eminent Oxford historian Nigel Biggar. Professor Biggar believes the protestors “can’t hide their ignorance” of Israel’s history. So we had a look at what really happened through the country’s founding.
