Prairie Tails Podcast with be primarily hosted by Wess and George McNamara. They will be covering a wide range of topics from Upland hunting to Waterfowl and much much more. I will also be helping out on Co-hosting duties. The plan is to have the first episodes coming out in the next few weeks!

This is episode 1 of the Plus Sized Models Podcast which is going to be a monthly bonus episode with Myself and Tim Brown AKA the Bearded Uplander. In these episodes we will answer any and all listener questions and share some stories and laughs. We will primarily be talking about the outdoors activities that we are doing during all seasons of the year. Fishing, hunting, dog training, picking mushrooms, and of course how we like to prepare our wild game meals.

Arizona has been rough on me so far this year. Both me and the dogs are sore and tired, but we are having a blast! 

Quail numbers are still a bit of a mystery. Mearns country has covey like I've never seen before between that and tough scenting conditions has made it hard. But when we find coveys they have been HUGE.

In this episode we talk about the problems facing the Lesser Prairie Chicken, Sage Grouse and the short grass prairie. 

Bruce and his son in laws and myself sat down to tell some tall tales the last day they were all in camp. Its admittedly not my best work but there are some fun stories and may laughs involved.

Two bonkers days of filming with Project Upland and chasing bird dogs all over the prairie. What an absolute blast! 

This week was special. I was able to do three of my favorite things...Introduce a few guys to North Dakota, help them check a few birds off the their list, and make a new friend.

This is one of my favorite episodes Ive ever done. Travis is the host of the Flush TV show and has become a great friend. His stories of his little puppy from last season to where she is now is a story everyone needs to hear.

I have been getting messages like crazy the last few weeks on how birds are dealing with the drought....here is that answer. 

The other question I have been getting a lot is what I am looking for when I am out hunting Sharp-tails. I did an episode a few years back answering these questions but with all the new listeners I figured Id answer them again.

As season rapidly approaches I decided to do an extra episode each week highlighting a gear company that makes product I use. This week with early goose season only weeks away DiveBomb was an obvious choice.

On todays episode I am talking with Brittany French. Brittany grew up on a cattle ranch by Dodge City Kansas and got into the outdooors at a early age. She has taken her passion for the outdoors and now helps run the Outdoor Mentors. Helping teach kids that are interested in the outdoors how to do things the safe and right way. 

I have been dreaming about hunting in Alaska basically my entire life! It truly is the last frontier.

Eric is a hunter from Iowa originally but has been in Alaska for the last 4 years. Hope you guys enjoy hearing about his adventures and my questions about planning a trip in a year or two.

These dogs, also known as Jagdterrier, are tenatious little dogs that can be used to hunt everything from rats to bears! Jacob and James do a great job talking about thier breed of choice. This is a fun episode! hope you all enjoy!

Ive been listening to KFAN Outdoors for years now on my way out hunting and fishing. I always look forward to hearing Billy and Bob throwing those good natured jabs back and forth.

Bill and Mario are traveling upland hunters from Missouri and Im happy to say they are new friends to me but not each other. We sat down to talk about their 35 year hunting friendship and talk about Arizona.

Ive been on the road for about 10 days now and this has been an amazing start! 

We start off with talking about chasing prairie chickens and roosters in South Dakota. We Hunted the Fort Pierre Grasslands and had a blast with a quick stop at Cronkhite Farms.

After a short stop in Iowa and southern Minnesota Logan and I turned east for Michigan. We have been chasing Ruffed Grouse here for the last 3 days and have had a blast.
