Originally formed in 1996 in New York City, Boiler Room released their self‑titled, independent album that same year produced by future Guns N' Roses guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal. The addition of Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat) in 1998 began a creative writing relationship between him and singer Chris Lino and elevated the bands sound and performance. 1999 saw the band opening for nationally recognized acts along the East Coast, including Type O Negative, Life of Agony, Clutch and Static‑X, helping them catch the attention of renowned NYC radio station 92.3 K‑ROCK. Upon the release of their album they toured with Disturbed, Mudvanye, Kittie, and also Headlined a club tour in Europe. The band disbanded in 2001, with Caggiano leaving to join Anthrax and the other members dispersing into various projects. Chris Lino connected with Mike Orlando and finally in 2022, Orlando reached out to Chris and suggested that he consider re-recording and re-releasing some of Boiler Room's previously released songs. The result is Rectify which includes the brand-new stand out tracks "Haunted" and "Rectify". Order the CD: https://www.dekoentertainment.com/product-page/boiler-room-rectify-cd

Jenn Johnson learned more about intuition after she started listening to what her body was telling her. After years of nursing in the ER she started having a feeling about what was going on with her patients before tests would clearly show the diagnosis. In this episode, Jenn shares some of the science behind intuition and how she started relying on her own experiences when caring for patients. Jenn Johnson has been an ER nurse in Canada for many years. Through those years she was bullied and had to leave jobs because the toxic people she was working with were never dealt with, so she decided to move on. Jenn takes us through three different times she was bullied and how she dealt with each one based on her past experiences and how she grew every time it happened. With all of her experience at the bedside, she also realized that she could use her intuition, that gut feeling we all get sometimes, to get her patients the care they need much more quickly than if she waited for lab and diagnostic tests to come back. Her colleagues respect her as she uses her intuition to quickly communicate with others to get patients treated before they become even worse off. Jenn is waiting for her book, Nursing Intuition, to be published this fall. In the book, she will talk more about the science behind using intuition and how she incorporates it into her care of patients. Jenn has a wealth of information to share and I cannot wait to read her book when it comes out.

The Four Horsemen Ride: Life Is Just A Fantasy For Author

When reality isn't enough, you build your universe. That's precisely what J.F. Monroe did with the Legacy of the Four trilogy, creating a world where ancient powers walk among us and destiny can be rewritten by the courage of the human heart. A lifelong devotee of fantasy fiction, Monroe crafts stories that blend epic adventure with deeply personal journeys. Her writing draws inspiration from the character-driven narratives of "The Lord of the Rings" and "Harry Potter," the high stakes of "The Hunger Games," and the intricate plotting of Christopher Nolan's films. These influences combine in her work to create stories where even the most extraordinary characters feel remarkably real. At the heart of Monroe's storytelling philosophy lies a simple truth: the most powerful magic comes from human connection. Her characters—whether they're vessels for ancient powers or loyal companions with four legs—face struggles that resonate with readers long after they turn the last page. She crafts protagonists who aren't just extraordinary in their abilities but also in their capacity for growth, love, and sacrifice.

The year was 1984, the year of the cassette boombox and the Sony Walkman, and the year when a little band from Los Angeles invited the world to “Turn Up The Radio.” That band was Autograph, fronted by the fiery-haired powerhouse vocalist Steve Plunkett, and their single became an immediate smash hit from the debut album Sign In Please and was featured in numerous films and TV shows of that era. But as big as Autograph was, it could not contain the creative energy of Plunkett. He soon found a new career as an in-demand songwriter for bands such as The Go-Go’s, Edgar Winter and Vixen as well as doing production work for Cyndi Lauper and Graham Nash. He released his first solo album in 1991, an album that showed Plunkett’s growing confidence in both his own songwriting and studio techniques. Now, more than 3 decades later, Plunkett is ready to release his second solo album, a smokin’ hot collection called Straight Up. This 10-track all-killer, no-filler album cranks up the volume knob to 11 and shows that Plunkett hasn’t lost an ounce of the passion and power that made him a hard rock hero! Just check out the album’s first single, “Rock Machine,” which kicks off with a driving guitar lick and chanted lyric that lunges straight at the listener’s jugular. It’s a powerblast of pure, unfiltered rock mania as only Plunkett knows how to deliver.
Reflecting on the album, Plunkett declares, “With Straight Up, I wanted to get back to rock basics. No parameters or targets – just the kind of real rock that got me excited back in the day. Fast, fun and loud!”

I have a very unusual background in Dentistry. I was trained by a master and pioneer of full mouth reconstruction and crown and bridge dentistry. I was trained completely differently than the way dentists are currently being trained. I have 70 years of documentation (more than 100,000 pictures of cases) for the basic principles that I teach and follow up X-Rays over decades. Most dental speakers do not focus on longevity--only esthetics and show NO follow-up X-Rays. Much of what is taught in dental schools actually violates the basic principles that allowed my father and I to have so much success. It has been very difficult to convince professionals that THEY have veered away from Dentistry's "Roots." What I am doing is built on the roots of full coverage restorative dentistry from the early 20th century. I believe strongly that anything new that comes down the pike must be compared to the standard of what came before in order to truly advance as a profession. This is NOT being done. Much of the technology actually violates proven scientific principles and most of the younger professionals have no idea that this is so. It is my mission to try to educate them, even though they are very difficult to reach.

I work with Certain Future to support parents of preteens (10-14 y.o.) so they can show up and maintain a meaningful relationship with their child during these 'identity breaking' years. We work with parents who want to be present with their son/daughter before it's too late to bridge the gap. Using 'The SHOW UP Framework', parents benefit when working with us because: 🔴 They’re confident in their communication when their tween starts having big emotions. 🔴 They know how to be present when their preteen starts to withdraw, so their child continues to trust them and naturally opens up difficult conversations. 🔴 They know how to support their child in ways to develop self-belief and resilience.
