Well hello hello and welcome back to the VHS Doom Podcast and Rental Store! We are so glad that you are joining us again for another deep dive into the shelves of madness.

Before we get started, I just want to say a BIG thank you to everyone for your patience on the release of this episode! Baby boy DOOM was born on 6/1 at 7lb 2oz and 20" long. He and mom are healthy and happy, and we are so glad to have him at home.

Unfortunately he decided to make his entrance into the void when I had 20 minutes of editing left, hence the wait. Mikey and I are planning on recording again next week, so we should be back to a normal schedule sooner than later.

This week we have a real treat for you! We have our second ever double feature with two body horror classics: Body Melt and Slime City! We talk all about these films as well as a bit of the history of body horror in multiple media forms.
