When I first went Vegan 5 years ago I sort of jumped into it overnight without doing any real research. This meant I had many thoughts as a new vegan that I did not know how to deal with, I had to face the fears that I had without a plan and encountered a few obstacles and struggles along the way. In this episode I want to highlight a few of them as well as others I have noticed, giving some ways in which I managed them and some useful tips for others who are considering going Vegan or have done so and are struggling themselves. This list is by no means exhaustive and I am sure there are many other issues that people struggle with. It is very rare to find a vegan who has always been that way. Most lived their lives for many years consuming animal products before deciding to make a change. But what about me? What was my story? Was I always destined to become a vegan? If you asked anyone who knew me over half a decade ago they would tell you that I would be the last person they know that would ever go vegan. Perhaps you think that about yourself now? In this episode I discuss a bit about my life before veganism, how I chose to ate and what influenced those decisions. How I was challenged on what I believed. How I questioned my own morality. What finally broke me. I truly believe that if someone like me could go vegan...anyone can.
