 Hill's alleged jury tampering and a slew of other accusations including plagiarism, improper use of office, and her son's involvement in wiretapping, paint a concerning picture of her ethical standing. "It looks horrible," remarked Scott. "It's so traumatic...to think we're going to have to go through this again. But it does increasingly look terrible."
 
 The initial perception of Hill as a "nice lady" is now juxtaposed against allegations of serious ethical breaches. As Brueski noted, "There are allegations here about her cashing checks in excess of $10,000 in her own name that were made out to Colleton County." Scott suggested that this might reflect a long-standing pattern of behavior, raising questions about the integrity of other cases overseen by Hill.
 
 The conversation then delved into the psychological aspect of Hill's behavior. Scott emphasized the importance of patterns in predicting future actions. "People have patterns...and we can make a lot of guesses about what people are going to do in the future based upon what they've done in the past," she explained.  Interestingly, Hill has admitted to the plagiarism allegations, a move that might indicate her seeking leniency or perhaps a strategy to mitigate further damage. Scott pondered, "She may be doing that. She may do more of that as it becomes clearer that she's not going to be able to finagle her way out of it."
