In this episode, Caroline and Jack bring you the prosecution opening in the trial of a 15-year-old accused of murdering a fellow pupil, Harvey Willgoose, at a school in Sheffield in February 2025. The attack happened in the school courtyard just minutes into the lunch break. The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has admitted Harvey’s manslaughter, but denies murder - saying he suffered from a loss of control which his lawyers have claimed was the end result of a long period of bullying.

Australian mother-of-two, Erin Patterson, has been charged with three counts of murder and five counts of attempted murder after allegedly serving poisonous mushrooms to her ex husband’s family members.

In July of 2023, Gail Patterson, Don Patterson and Heather Wilkinson all died, and Ian Wilkinson was left fighting for life after eating Beef Wellington served at a family lunch. 

Four counts of attempting to murder her former husband from preceding years have also been added to the charge sheet.

In this episode, Caroline and Jack bring you the first of the pupils to give evidence at the trial of the teenager accused of murdering Harvey Willgoose at a school in Sheffield. One friend of Harvey's told police that the defendant was known to bring weapons into school - and claimed the boy had once asked him to feel the outline of an axe hidden in his trousers.

In this episode Caroline and Jack hear from the teachers at the school where Harvey Willgoose was killed. He was described as a cheeky pupil who never crossed the line and in the hours before he died, he joked that nobody would stab him. The pupil from the same school accused of his murder says he lost control after suffering long-term bullying, violence and poor treatment.

In this episode, Caroline and Jack bring you the evidence of several teachers who have described the horrifying moment they found 15-year-old Harvey Willgoose had been fatally injured in the school courtyard. The trial also heard that the boy accused of murdering him had a history of being bullied over a medical issue and that he told the headteacher he only brought a knife to school that day because he was scared for his safety.

In January 2023, Constance Marten and Mark Gordon went on the run with their newborn baby Victoria. After a nationwide hunt, the couple were found. Two days later, so was the body of Victoria.

Last year a jury found the pair guilty of concealing the birth of a child and perverting the course of justice. However, unable to reach a verdict on the charge of manslaughter, the jury was discharged. Constance Marten and Mark Gordon have faced a retrial on this charge, and today, we finally have the verdict.

Caroline and Jack also sit down with Detective Superintendent Lewis Basford, who helped lead the hunt for Constance Martin and Mark Gordon, in an exclusive interview.
