Back in the day, I was on a panel in a Silicon Valley event and they were talking about the early stages of AI and I'd made a remark that AI would end up writing code that writes code. So, what would a government that's really following godly principles look like? Well, it makes sense. Power is a powerful drug. Why are we talking about this? It has to do with the worship of power and the inability for people to let go of it. There's a great article in Vanity Fair that features the writer's worshipful description of Dr. Jill Biden. She's a doctor, don't you know?  And the paragraph, while long and run on, is indicative of how people view those with power when they're in the world of wanting to have it. Now, I've never had real power. I've had the power on loan from big organizations, Microsoft and the Republican National Committee. I can tell you that being in the world of motorcades,VIP seating, and where you don't need to be a nice person because people will do what you say, it is a very addictive world. It's interesting, of course, because there are people who don't have power who suddenly are showing how shrill and fragile the people in power are and how much they want to hold on to it. You'll hear Joe Scarborough, a guy absolutely desperate to hold on to power. 90 days ago, he said figurehead Biden was his very best self, better than he'd ever been. Now, Joe Scarborough, of course, is making the suggestion that Biden should step out of the race.

I was again inspired again by that scene in the Hunger Games. All around us, there's signs that the party is absolutely panicking. First of all, what was the deal made? Who got paid off? Something happened to get Julien Assange out of prison. You can say, "Hey, being in his embassy is not in prison." The truth is, being locked in a building for all these years, that's prison. What did Juliet Assange do to deserve any of this? And a death sentence? Mike Pompeo wanted him dead. He did exactly what the people who wrote the Pentagon Papers did. We're going to step back and look at some of the continuing responses of the presidential debate. It’s fascinating how quickly they were ready to turn on Joe. We will also talk as well about the continuing weird way that people who think they're helping Christianity aren't. Dr. Jordan Peterson is obviously a very smart and successful man. It seems an unachievable dream to live simply, as it used to be, say, in the way of the Amish. I had an opportunity to speak with a very interesting man. His name is Marlon Miller. He's a publisher of Plain Values Magazine. Marlon grew up Amish and he's made a life out of sharing the gospel with the Amish.  But, he's also used his Amish upbringing to create a simple life, not just for him, but for a lot of people. He and his wife adopted four kids who each have some form of developmental challenge. He told me about his decision to create a community based upon these simple plain values. I also asked him, why would the Amish need to have the gospel shared with them?
