| 36: [Time & Energy 3] Solution-Focused Boundaries that Motivate Teens | 14 mai 2025 | 00:13:47 | |
To culminate this 3-part series on time and energy (and how to make the most of it!) I wanted to focus on an area that comes up a lot in my coaching practice with parents and my THRIVE membership parent group: boundaries that motivate our teens and lead to more connection, follow-through, and solutions to challenges. End of school pressures, expectations, and deadlines can lead to teens breaking down, ignoring work, procrastinating, putting in minimal effort because it's just too much pressure...and you're left feeling exhausted and drained, while the clock is ticking! If you can relate, listen in to learn:

Do you feel helpless when your teen is breaking down—and just want to do something to fix it fast? When I say 'breaking down' I'm referring to any time your tween or teen lashes out, has an emotional reaction to stress, conflict, or overwhelm, and/or takes out their stress on you. Afterwards, the next step will be clearer, and you're one step closer to feeling better from the inside out.
