Dan Climan is an artist living and working in Montreal.  We spoke about his beginnings in graphic design, tattooing, transitioning to painting, living a creative life, having the opportunity of creativity providing a living, his studio practice, how he develops a piece, where he draws inspiration and how he applies that to his practice, his upcoming gallery show at Yoon Contemporary in Montreal, the art world, selling work, and more. Austin Quintana is a photographer living in Brooklyn, making work in the American West.

We talk about his project Where the Valley Sings, photographic cliches, portraiture, approaching strangers, Alec Soth, Mark Steinmetz and Robert Adams as usual. We also spoke about the work he's doing for Ryan McGinley, the approach to living in NYC but making work on the other side of the country. Austin is an amazing photographer with a really bright career ahead of him. I love his work and I think people need to pay attention to what he's doing! Don't sleep.

Keith Henry has a brand called Henry's. He makes pants, bags and other accessories all by hand in Toronto.

We talk about his beginnings in photography, the support he received from his skateboarding community, his exposure to sewing from his mother, photography from his father, working in the skateboard/photography/magazine industry and how this furthered his passions and creative pursuits, fueling his curiosity through asking questions, his generosity of information to those that show care and consideration and his desires for continuing his brand Henry's.

Cobey Arner is a photographer and drummer living in NYC by way of Atlanta. 

We talk about his beginnings in music, the support and encouragement from his parents that he needed to pursue his passions, seeing his Dad work in a way that was uncommon - singing and traveling, and how that displayed the work needed to be done to make a living through your interests. Cobey is a drummer in the band Rebounder as well as a solo act making electronic music under Casual Ties.

Roman Spataro is a photographer living in NYC from rural Pennsylvania. He just released a beautiful book titled A Letter from June in a handmade edition of 32 with the help of Harrison Miller of Underlife Editions. Chris Albo is a multidisciplinary designer, artist and creative director. I first came across his work through Madbury Club and immediately fell in love with his style, It's organic and not pretentious and that comes through in this conversation. Aijani Payne is a photographer based in NYC. We met while attending the Photo program at Fashion Institute of Technology and I instantly gravitated to his photography and also him as person. He was always a positive, happy and creative force at school and in the city in general and he has absolutely evolved into one of my favorite photographers. Gabriel Rivera is a photo maker based in NYC.
