Receiving: The Radical Act Women Are Denied (+ Our Move to Substack)26 Aug 202501:28:47

Episode 72: Y’all… this episode is a BIG one! 🎉✨ The anticipation has been real, and I’m finally sharing all the juicy details about the podcast’s move to Substack—plus, a chance for YOU to win a free 90-minute coaching session with me! 🎁🔥

But let’s be real—this episode is about so much more than a platform shift. This is a deep dive into something that’s been transforming my life: RECEIVING. 💌

I’m talking about how hard, uncomfortable, and even vulnerable it can be to receive love, support, help, praise—and why it’s absolutely essential if you're going to become the woman you’re meant to be. Especially for those of you stuck in caretaker roles, exhausted from constantly pouring out without ever being poured into… this episode is your wake-up call. 🛑💡

We unpack why patriarchy has stolen women’s ability to receive, what happens when we start reclaiming it, and how receiving isn't just some fluffy self-care vibe—it's RADICAL and NECESSARY. 💥💪

And, in a moment that had me fully practicing what I preach, I read your beautiful listener emails aloud. 🥹💖 I let myself receive your gratitude, your love, and your stories—and babes, it was a full-body experience. Vulnerable as hell and SO powerful.

Then, of course, I walk you through what Substack is, why I’m moving there, and how this shift is deeply aligned with my next evolution—more connection, more intention, more YOU. 💫

👀 Don’t miss the deets on how to subscribe (there’s even a founding member option for my legacy-building babes 🙌) and how to enter the 90-minute coaching giveaway!

So if you’ve been feeling worn out, unseen, or like your needs have been pushed to the backburner for way too long… this is your episode. 🎙️💥

I’m opening the door and letting you peek into a totally ordinary, magical day in my life—one I never would’ve dreamed was possible back when I was considering divorce. You’ll hear about everything from flashbacks and Five Guys 🍔 to tarot cards and raising our black cat baby 🐈‍⬛ with Joe, and how I’ve built a life that feels like me in all the right ways.

I’ll also share the stories of two beautiful women, one client and one new community member, who reminded me just how brave, powerful, and world-changing this path is when we start choosing ourselves first 💖

PLUS I’ll let you in on a big shift coming to the podcast 👀 (no more cliffhangers, I promise!) and how we’re building something so much bigger than just our own healing. It’s a movement, and I’m honored to be in it with you 🙏🔥

Unmasking Covert Narcissism: Part 217 Jun 202501:33:48

In this second deep-dive into covert narcissism, I unpack the remaining techniques and traits that make this kind of abuse so uniquely painful… and so hard to name. From gaslighting and emotional blackmail to the crazy room and love bombing, I break it all down—raw, unfiltered, and straight from lived experience 💔.

I’m not holding anything back in this episode. I share real-life stories—mine and others’—about being trapped in the invisible cages built by covert narcissists. I talk about what it costs us, what it steals from us, and how easy it is to believe you’re the problem when you’re just trying to survive. And I get really honest about the shame, confusion, and grief that come with realizing someone you love is emotionally harming you 🧠😔.

But I also bring the hope 🌱. I walk you through the 10 tangible steps you can take to start healing, reclaim your voice, and ground back into your own reality. If you’re in it, if you’ve lived it, or if you’re afraid to say the words out loud—this episode is for you. You are not alone, and there is a way out. 🦋

You Might Be Married to a Covert Narcissist (and Not Know It): Part 110 Jun 202501:24:59

Episode 61: This one’s been a long time coming, y’all. I can feel it in my bones—this is some of the work I’m most proud to bring into the world. In this two-part series (yep, there’s more coming next week!), I’m diving deep into covert narcissism—what it is, how it operates, and how it might be silently shaping your relationship.

This week, we’re laying down the foundation: I’m sharing the two core identifiers I use to spot covert narcissistic abuse and walking you through the first 7 of 14 psychological techniques covert narcissists use to maintain control. These aren’t just concepts—I’m pulling from personal experiences, years of coaching, and gut-wrenching stories from brave women navigating this exact terrain.

We’re going to explore what makes covert narcissism so sneaky and so damaging, why it's so often misunderstood, and most importantly, how you can begin to make sense of what’s been happening to you 💔🧠.

If you’ve ever felt like you were “crazy,” like you couldn't quite explain the emotional whiplash you’ve been living through, this episode is for you. 🧩✨

And remember—just because your partner might not be diagnosable doesn’t mean the impact isn’t real. The confusion, the guilt, the feeling of being emotionally obliterated—it’s not in your head. You are not alone.

At the end of the episode, I share a book that cracked open my own understanding and a way to work with me directly if this is landing deeply and you need more support. 📚🤝

Let’s get into it. This is a clarion call. 💥

Rooms We've Inherited + Summer of Transformation03 Jun 202500:42:42

Episode 60: Hey sis! 👋💞 Before diving into today’s episode, I took a moment to feel into all of you — whether you're cooking dinner 🍳, running 🏃‍♀️, or driving 🚗. Just know: I SEE you. You are not alone. 🤗

This episode is a bit of a soul drop-in. I'm sharing some of my most recent and raw inner work 🌪️ — specifically, a powerful metaphor that came through during deep shadow work. Imagine your consciousness like a huge mansion 🏰 with countless rooms, each built around different beliefs we've picked up — many from childhood, religion, or past trauma.

Some of those rooms? Super painful 😞. Some? Brand new and filled with self-trust, joy, sisterhood, love, and abundance 🌷🌟. And what I’m realizing is: we don’t have to stay trapped in the rooms we didn’t consciously build. We get to create NEW rooms. New realities. Whole new wings of our inner mansion that feel like home. 🏡💗

PLUS — I share all the exciting details of what's launching in the Stay or Go Community: 🎉 Camp NVC (Nonviolent Communication)! 🌞🏕️ This summer camp is unlike anything we’ve done before — full of fun, healing, connection, and practical tools to help you communicate with more clarity, vulnerability, and power 🔥🗣️.

If you’re ready to not just listen but actually do the work this summer — to build those new rooms inside yourself and connect with your sisters 💕 — Camp NVC is waiting for you. 🏕️✨

And of course, thank you to every single one of you who has rated, reviewed, and shared this podcast 🙏💖 — your support is literally helping other women find these resources when they need them most.

I can't wait to see so many of you at camp this summer — and remember: you do not have to stay in the rooms you were handed. You get to build your own. 🗝️✨

Continuing the Conversation: What Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown Brought Up With Guest Quinn Otrera27 May 202501:49:35

Episode 59: Wow y’all… this one is a wild ride. After the energy of being on Mayim Bialik’s Breakdown, Quinn and I just had to circle back. You know those moments when you’re like, “Wait! I wasn’t done!”—yeah, this episode is all that and more. 😅✨

We’re diving into the real talk that didn’t get airtime—reading through your 🔥comments, confronting trolls 🧌, and expanding the convo on divorce, identity, and the emotional minefield that women walk when considering leaving a marriage. We talk about the empathetic Achilles heel that keeps so many women stuck, the grief of leaving—and staying—and why “just lower your expectations” is NOT the move (no, thank you! 🙅‍♀️).

From the ways society tells us to shrink and submit, to reclaiming our main character energy 💃🏽, this episode is all about being deeply, soulfully YOU in a world that often asks you to disappear. Whether you're in a small town with zero support or deep in your own freeze response, you're not alone. We’re here to talk it through—with truth, tears, laughter, and that fierce compassion I know you’re craving. 🧡

⚡️We cover:

  • Why some women stay in marriages that hurt
  • Rewriting the outdated divorce narrative 📝
  • How to raise emotionally intelligent sons 🙌
  • Real stories from the Stay or Go community
  • The power (and pain) of being fully seen 👀

This one is messy, raw, and rich with truth. And babe, if you’re feeling that “I can’t keep going like this” vibe… hit play. 🎧 You're not alone—and you're more powerful than you know. 💥

Behind the Scenes: Nerves, Doubt, and a Secret I’ve Been Dying to Share20 May 202500:23:05

Episode 58: Oh y’all… this episode is straight from my still buzzing heart 💓 because I just got done recording with Mayim Bialik and Jonathan Cohen for the Mayim Bialik's Breakdown podcast!! 😱✨ Yes. THAT one. It was magical, it was real, and it was absolutely a moment I’ll never forget. So naturally, I had to jump on the mic and share the aftermath glow with all of you—while still in my podcast outfit, no less! 😄🎧

In this episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes of how this incredible opportunity unfolded (spoiler alert: divine timing + deep soul alignment), and also sharing the very real emotional journey that came with it—hello imposter syndrome, vulnerability, and the voice of that old Mormon girl who was taught to stay small. 😮‍💨🙏

But here's the magic: this episode isn’t just about me—it’s about us. It's about what happens when we say yes to our truth, even when our voice shakes. It’s a celebration of growth, of all the tiny moments that led to this big one, and a reminder that you too are worthy of being heard 📢💖.

If you’ve ever wondered if your inner voice matters, if you’re really ready, or if your healing is actually “working”... this one’s for you. 🫶

So come vibe with me, celebrate, reflect, and maybe journal with this question: What part of me is ready to be heard—even if it shakes? 💭🖊️

P.S. The episode with Mayim drops this week, so keep your eyes on my IG (@consideringdivorce) and FB for the big announcement! 🚨🎉

Your Body Knows: Discerning and Speaking Your Truth with Carmina Becerra13 May 202501:34:40

Episode 57: Hey loves 💕—this one is a powerhouse episode that’s been a long time in the making! I finally get to sit down with the incredible Carmina Becerra (activating your voice coach, truth-teller, and all-around force of nature 🌪️🔥).

This conversation is deeply personal for both of us, and I want to lovingly name upfront—it’s got a LOT of Go energy in it. For those of you still in the Stay phase, I see you, I honor you, and your path is just as sacred. 🌿 Please take what serves you and leave the rest, knowing I’ll have more conversations directly speaking to your experience soon.

Carmina takes us on a raw, courageous journey through her marriage to a fellow facilitator and TV host—how what looked like the perfect power couple from the outside became a story of losing herself in order to keep the peace, dimming her own radiance to protect his insecurities, and ultimately, the wild, painful, and liberating path of choosing herself again.

We talk about: ✨ How she lost—and reclaimed—her voice inside her marriage. ✨ The lie so many of us buy that we can "love someone enough" to do the work for them (spoiler: we can’t). ✨ Why divorce can sometimes be the most compassionate choice for both people. ✨ Somatic tools to help you access your inner knowing when your mind is spinning in stories. ✨ The delicious freedom and fullness waiting on the other side of bravery.

💡 And loves, if you’ve ever found yourself making yourself small to keep the peace, or waiting for a partner to rise with you while you’re stuck in the blender of survival mode—I want you to know: there is another way. You are allowed to be fully you. To shine bright AF. To take up all the damn space. 💃🔥

This is one of those episodes where I had chills the entire time. I know it’s going to resonate deeply for so many of you navigating that edge between love, loyalty, and self-abandonment. You do NOT have to choose between your truth and love. 💗 There are partners (and communities!) who will celebrate all of you.

Come soak up Carmina’s potent medicine. And if you’re craving more, she’s leading a workshop in our community this month AND has a gorgeous retreat coming up in Mexico that I cannot recommend enough. 🌸🎉

Let's go, loves. Let’s stop managing everyone else’s feelings and start choosing ourselves. 👑

Feeling Lost While Considering Divorce? Use this Bi-Weekly Ritual to Ground Yourself06 May 202500:22:15

Episode 56: Hey my beautiful loves! 💖 In today’s episode, I’m pulling us back into a softer, more mystical vibe 🌙 — one that feels like curling up with a cozy blanket for your soul. After some heavier episodes, I was aching to share the deeper practices that have truly carried me through all the ups and downs of my journey. 💫

I'm inviting you into one of my absolute favorite rituals — my New Moon and Full Moon Inner Quest spread 🌑🌕, inspired by the Pattern app and the Wild Unknown Oracle deck by Kim Krans (seriously, y'all, her art is pure magic 🎨🖤). This isn't just a "pull a card and move on" practice — it's a two-week journey with your soul, rooted in art, intuition, and divine connection. 🦋

I'll walk you through how I use these spreads to stay anchored during even the messiest times 🌊, how the archetypes and energies guide me (hello, Venom card 🐍), and why creating a visual, mystical connection with your growth is one of the yummiest gifts you can give yourself. 🎁

If you've been craving more grounding, intention, and a little more woo magic 🔮✨ in your life — this one's for you, sis. Let’s make the journey yummier together. 💖

Don't forget to DM me and send me pics of your spreads 🃏🧡 — you know I'd die to see them!!

Sending you so much love, magic, and maybe a few new decks or crystals from your next shopping trip! 😉💎

Why Letting Go Feels Impossible (Even if You Know It's Right)29 Apr 202500:42:56

Episode 55: Hey my loves 💕 This week, we’re keeping things punchy and powerful as I break down something I see all the time in my community and my coaching sessions—when you know a relationship isn’t right for you, but you just can’t seem to leave.

Whether it's your spouse, your affair partner, or both, this episode is a loving and truth-filled deep dive into the real reasons why letting go feels impossible. (Spoiler alert: it’s not because you’re broken, weak, or indecisive. It’s your nervous system, babe. It’s trauma. It’s biology. And it's very real. 😮‍💨)

I’m walking you through the 4 biggest reasons that might be keeping you stuck and offering tangible tools for working through each one—including somatic practices, nervous system support, and some beautiful reparenting work.

And yes, this one goes out especially to my affair girlies 💋 who are feeling deep connection and deep confusion. You're not alone. You're not crazy. You're just wired for connection—and we’re going to talk about how to gently untangle those wires and come back home to YOU. 💫

If you’ve been layering on shame because you know you should leave but your body won’t cooperate, this is your episode. This is your permission slip to stop blaming yourself and start understanding yourself. 🌿💗

Let’s reframe “letting go” as a process—not a lightning bolt moment. You are not behind. You are exactly where you need to be.

When the World Feels Unsafe22 Apr 202500:35:28

Episode 54: Whoa 😮‍💨 this episode came in hot, y’all. It was not the one I had planned—but sometimes the universe throws something at you that cracks your heart open in just the right way, and you’ve got to go with it. 💥

So today, I'm taking you inside a real-time nervous system ride—from receiving a message in my DMs that hit me right in my childhood wounds, to processing an emotional flashback, and coming out the other side feeling grounded and so connected to my purpose. 💫

This one’s for every woman who’s been told she’s too much, too slow, too sensitive, too anything… and showed up anyway. 🙋‍♀️ I walk you through how I handled that CPTSD moment, what I really think about patriarchal standards of efficiency, and how our current political climate in the U.S. is activating all the old stuff for so many of us.

We talk about what it’s like to question your path when everything feels uncertain, and why staying human—with humor, music, and dance parties—is a radical act of resistance. 💃🕯️

I’m sharing a gorgeous list from Paul Shattuck called “80 Tiny Moves for Everyday Resistance,” and how I'm using it to reclaim my energy and purpose. You’ll hear some of my fave tips (like wearing something meaningful or creating a playlist that reminds you who you are 🎶), and how even the smallest acts can reconnect us to our power.

Whether you're leaning toward staying or going, this episode is a reminder that this work matters—and you are so not alone. 💖 Come breathe with me, laugh with me, maybe cry with me a little too. We’re in this together, babes.

Stop Settling: What A Great Marriage Actually Looks Like15 Apr 202501:18:31

Episode 53: Hey y’all 💛 I am beyond excited to share this juicy episode with you because we are going all in on a topic I feel SO passionate about—what actually makes a marriage GREAT. Not “fine,” not “meh,” not “just surviving”—but truly great. ✨

In this episode, I take you behind the scenes of my own love story 💕, share how my definition of a great marriage has radically changed, and break down what I believe is actually required for a deeply connected, life-giving relationship.

We're diving into: 💡 Why emotional adulthood is non-negotiable 🛡️ What it means to be a “secure base” for each other 🧠 How trauma, codependency, and attachment styles affect our marriages 📉 Common myths we’ve all been fed (like “staying no matter what” equals success—nope!) 🔥 The difference between surviving a marriage vs. thriving in one

PLUS—I spill the tea on the real work my partner Joe and I have done to build the kind of connection I used to dream about 🌈.

This episode is a rallying cry to stop settling, start being radically honest with yourself, and dream bigger when it comes to love. You deserve a relationship that helps you soar—not one that holds you back.

💻 Don’t forget to check the show notes for links to my newly refreshed website (hello, branding glow-up!), past episodes that connect with this one, and where to watch the pod on YouTube (yes, VIDEO is here! 🎥).

🧠💗🔥 This one’s a game changer. Let it land. Come back to it. And most of all—know that you’re worthy of a love that feels like home.

Considering Divorce? Your Check Engine Light Is ON: Don’t Wait for the Breakdown12 Aug 202501:37:55

Episode 70: Hey babe 💛—whether you’re out walking, driving, curled up in bed, this one’s for you.

In this week’s episode, I’m sharing the story of my own “roadside test” last week—when my middle son broke his arm at football practice—and the big wake-up it gave me about what happens when we ignore the check engine lights in our lives. 🚨 From cars to life to marriages, those little warning lights are trying to tell us something… and pretending they’re not there doesn’t make them go away.

We’re talking:

💪 Why it’s time to stop waiting for the breakdown before we take action.
👩‍🔧 The four truths that came out of my own roadside test (and how they’ll help you avoid your own desert breakdown).
💔 How fear keeps us stuck—and why nobody is coming to turn off that light for you.
🌍 Why today’s political and cultural climate makes this work more important than ever.
💖 How to create a life (and relationships) that feel steady, supported, and ready for whatever detours lie ahead.

This is part rallying cry, part heart-to-heart, and part practical “get under the hood” moment. You’ll walk away with a loving push to handle what’s asking for your attention—so that when life throws the next roadside test at you, you’re not running on fumes.

So, deep breath, big girl panties (or not—your choice, babe 😏), and let’s get into it. You’ve got this. 💛

Episode 52:🔥 Buckle up, babes! In this raw and radically honest episode, I’m teaming up with my soul sister Quinn for a full-on, no-holds-barred intimacy chat. We're diving DEEP into the orgasm gap, the tragedy of hetero sex myths, and what it really means to reclaim your body and your pleasure—especially after divorce. 💦

We’re pulling back the curtain on everything we were never taught to talk about—from painful sex and religious shame to mind-blowing orgasms and the freedom that comes with saying “I deserve more.” 💥 This one’s juicy, unfiltered, and straight from the heart—and yes, the fireworks were literally going off in the background. 🎆 (You’ll see what I mean! 😂)

Whether you're considering leaving your marriage, already divorced, or just feeling disconnected from your own pleasure, this conversation is a permission slip to put YOUR desires at the center. 💖

We talk: ✨ The orgasm gap (and why it’s so damn real) ✨ What makes sex worth having (spoiler: it’s not a hard dick) ✨ Religious and cultural programming that’s kept us silent ✨ The power of community in healing and reclaiming pleasure ✨ And why post-divorce sex can be the best sex of your life 🙌

This is the sex talk we all deserved but never got. You ready? Let’s go. 💋

Put Your Oxygen Mask on First: Why Supporting Yourself Comes Before Others01 Apr 202501:11:52

Episode 51: Buckle up, babe—this episode is a straight-up download from the universe ✨ and I am OBSESSED with what came through. Today, we’re diving deep into something so many of us as women struggle with: putting everyone else first…and losing ourselves in the process 💔.

I’m unpacking why you’ve got to put your oxygen mask on first 🛑✈️ before trying to change the blueprint for your kids, your marriage, your mama, or anyone else.

Through powerful client stories, my own raw truth (including a super emotional share about my oldest son 💔), and real-time realizations, we’re exposing how unprocessed trauma—ours and others’—quietly hijacks our present-day decisions. And the kicker? Most of us don’t even realize we’re doing it.

We're talking inner child healing, boundaries with moms who “mean well,” and why over-functioning is NOT the badge of honor we think it is. By the end of this, I hope you’ll feel deeply seen, wildly empowered, and reminded that you are allowed to prioritize yourself without guilt. Actually—scratch that—you must.

Lost in the Divorce Decision? Try This Game-Changing Tool for Clarity11 Mar 202501:06:07

Episode 48: Hey my lovelies! 💛 Let’s get cozy and take a deep breath together because today’s episode is a game-changer. I’m sharing a powerful tool that I created this week—one that has already been giving me massive shifts. And now, I’m passing it on to YOU! 🎉

Here’s the deal: So many of us are just coping—putting out fires, managing chaos, running on fumes. But what if instead of constantly trying to “handle” life, we deeply resourced ourselves so that we didn’t need to cope as much in the first place? 🤯 This shift is EVERYTHING, especially for those of you stuck in the cycle of trying to gain clarity about whether to stay or go in your marriage.

In this episode, we’ll break it all down:
✔️ What it means to be resourced (and why it’s different from just having good coping mechanisms).
✔️ The simple but powerful worksheet that helps you see what’s draining you and what’s filling you up.
✔️ Real-life examples (including a deeply personal one from my relationship) of how this tool works.

If you’re tired of feeling exhausted, stuck, and unsure of your next move, this episode is for you. And if you try out this worksheet, I want to hear from you! Drop me an email at decide@stayorgocoaching.com and tell me how it goes—I seriously love hearing from y’all. 💌

Ready to go from coping to thriving? Let’s dive in! 🚀💖

🎧 Listen now, and if you love this episode, don’t forget to rate, review, and share—it means the world to me! 💫

Why My Power and Politics Are Inseparable—and Yours Might Be Too04 Mar 202500:54:44

Episode 47: I’ve been getting messages asking me to “just talk about divorce” and leave politics out of it. But here’s the truth: personal power is political.🔥 The same fire that helps you leave a suffocating marriage is the fire that makes me speak up. 💥

In this episode, I share my own messy awakening—how I went from staying small to reclaiming my voice. And why I refuse to shrink for anyone. If that hits deep, this one’s for you. Let’s dive in. 🎙️💪🔥

The Dream You Inherited vs. The Dream You Create25 Feb 202500:53:23

Episode 46: Ever feel like you’re living a life that doesn’t actually feel like yours? Like maybe the decisions you’ve made—your marriage, your career, your whole damn life—were handed to you rather than chosen by you? If so, you’re not alone, and this episode is exactly for you. 💡

Today, I’m diving deep into The Voice of Knowledge by Don Miguel Ruiz and unpacking the life-changing concept that so much of what we believe about ourselves isn’t even ours. We’ve been programmed—from childhood, from culture, from religion—to follow a script we never agreed to. And when we start to question it? That’s when the real magic happens. ✨

We’re talking:

🔥 The lies you’ve been taught that keep you stuck in your marriage (and in life)
🔥 How to tell the difference between your truth and someone else’s programming
🔥 The power of dismantling those old beliefs so you can rewrite your story
🔥 How listening to your body (not just your brain) is the key to breaking free

And yes, I’m getting vulnerable as hell about my own journey—how my political and personal evolution has changed everything about how I show up in the world. Next week, I’ll be sharing an episode that dives even deeper into that transformation in honor of the protests happening on March 4th.

So, if you’ve ever felt like you’re at war with yourself, if your inner voice is screaming that something isn’t right, or if you just need to hear that you are not crazy for wanting more, then hit play, my love. This episode is for you. 💛

P.S. If this episode speaks to you, share it with another woman in your life who might be feeling stuck in someone else’s dream. And if you haven’t yet, hit that subscribe button and drop a review—it helps so much! 🎧💖

Divesting Your Energy from Toxic Systems and Relationships04 Feb 202501:15:36

Episode 44: Okay, y’all… this episode has been weighing heavy on my heart, and I need to talk about it today. 💔 A new bill in Oklahoma is trying to repeal no-fault divorce—and it’s just the tip of the iceberg. Christian nationalism is gaining power, pushing laws designed to trap women in unhealthy marriages, and if you think this won’t affect you… think again

But this isn’t just about politics—it’s about power. 💪 The same toxic dynamics playing out on a national level are the exact ones keeping so many of you stuck in marriages where you’re not seen, valued, or free. This episode is a wake-up call to divest your energy from systems that don’t serve you and reinvest it into what actually supports your freedom and well-being. 🚫

We are not going back, and we are not staying silent. 🔥 Tune in, get informed, and let’s start building the communities that will keep us strong—because we’re going to need them.

🔗 I’m linking must-read resources in the show notes—please check them out. And if this episode speaks to you, share it, rate & review, and let’s get this message into the hands of every woman who needs it. 💜✨

Why ‘I Love My Husband’ Isn’t Enough: Changing Your Reality Without Empty Affirmations28 Jan 202501:04:11

Episode 43: Hey there, lovely listeners! 💛

This week’s episode is a big one—I’m diving deep into the phrase “Your thoughts create your reality” and unpacking all the nuance behind it. If that statement has ever made you feel overwhelmed, shamed, or even a little stuck, you’re in the right place. 🌀

We’ll explore the emotional traps of shame and spiritual bypassing, and why simply swapping your thoughts for “better” ones doesn’t work. Instead, I’ll walk you through what it really looks like to reclaim your power and transform your beliefs from the ground up. Think of it like tending to a garden—you’ve got to dig up those old roots before planting something new. 🌱🌸

I’ll also share insights into how our subconscious programming shapes so much of our lives and why releasing trauma is the key to truly shifting your reality. If you’ve been feeling stuck, this episode might just be the clarity you need. 💡

This is one to listen to a couple of times, especially when you need a reminder that transformation is messy but oh-so-worth it. 💕

As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts—subscribe, rate, and share with someone who needs this!

Why You Give Grace to Everyone but Yourself & the Mindset Shift from Expectation to Exploration05 Aug 202501:20:29

Episode 69: Hey, my loves! 💕 This week’s episode emerged from a comment shared with me by one of my community members and I cannot wait for you to dive into the goodies that came out of it with me. We’re talking about something BIG—moving from an expectation mindset (hello control + perfectionism 👋) into an exploration mindset that gives you SPACE to breathe, play, and actually be human. 🌱

So many of us, especially as women, are living under crushing double standards. We give everyone else so much grace—our kids, our partners, even strangers—yet hold ourselves to impossibly high bars. And when we dig deeper, we see how this is rooted in childhood trauma, cultural programming, and patriarchal BS. 🙅‍♀️

I’m going to share:
✅ Where this pattern of perfectionism and self-abandonment comes from.
✅ How to spot when you’re living from expectation instead of exploration.
✅ Why an exploratory mindset is your birthright (and how it changes EVERYTHING).
✅ What this looks like inside real relationships—and what to do if your marriage doesn’t allow room for exploration.

This episode is part pep talk, part permission slip, and 100% your reminder that you were never meant to be perfect—you were meant to BECOME. 💫

Grab your headphones, take a deep breath, and let’s reclaim that juicy, curious, messy, ALIVE version of you. You deserve this. ❤️

Three Life-Changing Concepts for Your Considering Divorce Journey21 Jan 202500:58:50

Episode 42: Oh, y’all, this episode is buzzing with energy because I’m back in my flow! 🌊 After a few weeks of slowing down and leaning into the ebb, I’m here to share what it feels like to embrace the natural rhythms of life—and how that can completely transform the way you approach challenges like divorce or deep personal decisions. 💫

This week, I’m diving into three foundational principles that have been life-changing for me and my clients:
✨ How your beliefs shape your reality (yes, it’s time to choose intentionally!).
✨ The difference between power and force—aligning with soul-led decisions rather than external pressures.
✨ Understanding the vibrational frequencies of emotional states—and how to rise above fear and shame into courage, love, and peace.

We’re going deep, so you may want to listen to this one twice! 🎧 Next week, I’ll break down actionable steps to shift your vibration and start creating the life you want, but for now, this episode sets the stage with powerful insights and inspiration.

Remember, my loves, the flow always returns after the ebb. 🌺 Let’s lean into the divine feminine and trust the journey together.

🎙 P.S. Don’t forget to text 90Min to 33777 if you’re ready to book a transformative 90-minute session with me. Let’s create the shift you’ve been waiting for. ✨

When the Pain Feels Too Big: Navigating Depression and Connection14 Jan 202501:26:41

#41: Hey there, loves. This week’s episode is raw, real, and deeply personal 💔. I’m diving into something I’m currently in the thick of—navigating the waves of depression through the lens of complex PTSD and the abandonment depression cycle, inspired by Pete Walker’s incredible book.

I share how a tough week with my oldest son has brought up layers of emotional triggers that connect back to deep childhood wounds. Together, we’ll explore what this cycle looks like—emotional flashbacks, spiraling shame, inner critics—and, most importantly, tools for working through it.

This conversation is for anyone who’s ever felt overwhelmed by emotions that seem so much bigger than the moment in front of them. It’s a reminder that healing isn’t linear, but it’s worth every step. 🌱

We also talk about the connection between parenting and our own inner child, and how facing the hard stuff can unlock profound growth—both for ourselves and our relationships. It’s messy, it’s real, but there’s beauty in it, too.

Grab your favorite cozy spot, and let’s walk through this together. You’re not alone—I promise you that. 💛

When Staying Feels Wrong: Trusting Your Intuition Over His Efforts24 Dec 202401:27:51

Episode 38: Have you ever wondered, If he’s trying so hard now, why don’t I feel like staying? You’re not alone, my loves. In this fiery and truth-packed episode, I tackle one of the most confusing and emotionally draining dynamics I see in women considering divorce: when your partner suddenly does a complete 180—but your heart and body still say, “No.” ❤️‍🩹

Together, we’ll explore the emotional rollercoaster of guilt, relief, and self-doubt, uncovering why his efforts might feel too little, too late. I’ll break down the spectrum of relationships, from the truly toxic to those that look good on paper but lack the deep connection you deserve.

Most importantly, I’ll show you how to stop silencing your intuition and start trusting your values and priorities for your life. This isn’t about whether he’s changing; it’s about whether the relationship aligns with the real you. 💪✨

If you’re tired of feeling stuck in the merry-go-round of confusion, guilt, and misplaced responsibility, this episode is your guide to clarity and courage.

Election Results 2024: A Pause for Grieving and Holding Each Other in the Face of Oppression12 Nov 202400:39:50

Episode 33: Hey love — this one’s tender. 💔 After a week full of big feelings, I’m inviting you into a much-needed pause. The 2024 election stirred so much grief, rage, and reflection on what it means to live in a world still shaped by patriarchy 🌍🔥. If your nervous system feels fried or your heart feels heavy, please know: you're not alone. 💞

In this episode, we’re talking about the radical power of rest 😴💪. How choosing stillness in the face of chaos isn’t weakness — it’s strength. It’s protest. It’s survival. Sometimes, the most revolutionary thing you can do is stop, feel, and breathe. 🌬️🌙

✨ What we explore:

  • Why your exhaustion is valid 😓
  • The emotional toll of ongoing stress and anticipation 🧠💣
  • How honoring your grief can be a powerful act of self-love 💖🌿
  • And why rest is resistance, especially for women holding so much 🛑👑

So grab a blanket, light a candle 🕯️, and come sit with me in this gentle space. Let’s remember together that even when the world feels like too much, you are allowed to rest. You are allowed to feel it all. You are still whole.

With deep love, fierce truth, and soft strength,

Kids & Divorce - Part 1: Disadvantages and Benefits (With Quinn Otrera from The Post-Divorce Glow-up Show)15 Oct 202401:54:11

Episode 30: Hey loves! Grab a cozy blanket, a warm cup, and settle in—because this episode is a soul‑to‑soul chat I’m having with my bestie, Quinn Otrera (yes, that Quinn from The Post‑Divorce Glow‑Up Show podcast). We’re unpacking the question that crushes so many hearts: Will divorce ruin my kids’ lives? 💔👶

What We’re Diving Into:

  • Our raw fears—I’ll tell you how terrified I was that my kids would crumble emotionally, fall behind in school, or feel untethered without their “normal.” We each share those late-night whispers we hated hearing.
  • Where those fears come from—the silent stories society taught us about “broken homes.” We challenge the word ruin, because in reality, life is more complex, more nuanced, and often, more beautiful than we fear. 🌈✨
  • How our kids actually navigated it—Spoiler alert: there were challenging days, but also moments of resilience, growth, joy, and profound connection that surprised us in the best ways.
  • Hope that’s messy and real—yes, divorce brings change, but that doesn't equal devastation. We talk about how even in overwhelm, love finds ways to show up stronger than ever.

Why You NEED to Hear This:

If you’re sitting with that fear of hurting your kids by choosing divorce, this episode is your permission slip to walk gently into that fear—without shame, without pretending you’re unbreakable. You’ll hear from two real women who still wrestle with the unknown—and still believe in the strength of the heart.

Lean In With Us:

This is Part 1 of our series, and it’s just the beginning of unpacking the sacred and shadowy truths of parenting through splits, healing through transitions, and thriving despite broken expectations.

So let me love on you through this episode. Let’s collect the whispers of hard-won grace and hope together.

With heart-full stories, fierce compassion, and radical hope—
 Britta 💖

Releasing the Fear of Making a Wrong Decision24 Sep 202401:09:30

Episode 28: Hey loves! This episode feels like a warm hug to your worried heart. Have you ever hesitated because you feared screwing it all up? I’ve been there—and so many times, the only reason we don’t move is cooling fear… not our reality. 🌸

I share how stepping into a new relationship changed not just my love life but my whole experience of motherhood. That move wasn’t neat, graceful, or planned—it was wildly imperfect, deeply real, and totally worth it. It reminded me that when we release fear, life gives us space to bloom. 🌱

What We’re Opening Into Today:

  • Letting go of “perfect”
You don’t need it. Imperfection isn’t a setback—it’s where you find your magic. Every messy, scarred, unfiltered moment? It’s real life—and it’s your soul growing.
  • Listening to your inner compass
That gut whisper, that sticky feeling in your chest—that is knowing. Reconnect with it. Let instinct lead when logic locks up.
  • *Celebrating the unfolding
Some of the best chapters in your life won’t start with a master plan… they start with a risk, a stumble, a “maybe this?” and then a leap. And babe—you deserve that chance to leap.

You might be here because something’s tipping. Maybe you’re stalled. Maybe you’re afraid of regret. Maybe no one else gets why this choice matters deeply to you.

This episode is your reminder: You get to move even if it’s messy. You can feel scared and brave. You can trust yourself. And if it all goes sideways? You’ll still learn, grow, and land in more alignment than standing still ever gave you.

Take a breath, beautiful soul. Let’s lean into this moment together. The fog lifts when we decide—messy, wild, real—all of you, stepping into your path.

Trusting the Timing of Your Journey in Divorce Decisions17 Sep 202400:59:02

Episode 27: Hey loves! If your heart is full of big questions—“Should I stay or go? Am I missing my moment?”—this episode is your cozy blanket of permission to pause and feel. Processing your story gently is not wasted time. It’s sacred space, and you deserve every moment of it. 🌿✨

I share a deeply personal moment from my life—knowing in my gut that divorce was coming fully a year before I filed. That wasn’t months of confusion—it was a soft landing drawn with healing, growth, courage, and grace. It was preparation, not delay. And I’m so grateful for that quiet unfolding. 🌱💪

Also, I’ll tell you about the brunch I canceled on a whim … that led me into the most unexpectedly magical evening. Those spontaneous turns? They remind us that missing what wasn’t meant for us opens the door to what’s waiting. 🌙💫

What we’ll dive into together:

  • How slowing down isn’t being stagnant—it’s tuning into your own rhythm.
  • Why letting go of guilt, FOMO, and external timelines sets you free.
  • How to embrace the pause and turn it into purpose-filled time.

Sweet soul, you are uncannily on time. Life isn’t a to-do list—it’s a sacred unfolding. You don’t need to sprint forward—you just need to come home to your heart.

Let’s breathe into that truth together. Take this episode, lean back, breathe deep, and let love guide your pace. You’re not late—you’re being cultivated.

Embracing Anger as a Catalyst for Change (With Quinn Otrera from the Post-Divorce Glow-Up Show)27 Aug 202401:21:45

Episode 25: Hey loves! 💛 Ever notice how angry can sound scary or shameful—like it’s the villain in our emotional lineup? Especially when we’re facing big decisions like divorce, we’re taught to swallow it, hide it, feel guilty about feeling it, or even worry it’ll push us into doing something regretful.

Guess what? That’s a load of BS—and Quinn and I are here to lovingly dismantle the shame around anger and show you how it can actually be one of the most powerful signposts on your path to freedom. 🚀🔥

What’s Inside This Episode (That Feels Like a Soft Hug)

  • Real talk from best friends: Quinn and I go deep, sharing stories where anger was that voice inside me saying, “This ain’t right,” whether it was being disrespected, dismissed, or feeling completely stuck in therapy that went nowhere.
  • Anger as your internal compass — instead of pushing you off course, it’s pointing you right where the growth is. Think of it not as a wildfire, but as a spotlight, quietly revealing where things need clearing, boundaries need drawing, or courage needs summoning. 💡
  • Step-by-step support:
    • How do you feel the fire without being consumed by it?
    • What practical tools can you use to channel that heat into clear, powerful action—not destruction?
    • How do you say “I’m mad—but I’m not a monster,” so gently it lands as clarity, not chaos?
  • Healing through kind honesty: When we look at what triggers our anger—not judge it—we often find the exact places in our hearts that are cracked open. Tending those soul wounds brings not only closure—but freedom.
  • You are safe here: Anger doesn’t break you. It’s not “too much,” and it doesn’t mean you’re “not spiritual enough.” If you’ve ever worried your anger might hurt the ones you love—this episode honors that tender heart AND the fire that protects it. 💪

You’ve been led to believe anger is ungraceful, unsafe, undesirable. But here’s the radical truth: it’s your voice calling you home. Home to your boundaries. Home to your truth. Home to your power.

So ease in, put the headphones on, and let’s reframe anger together—not as a curse, but as a birthright of the passionate, fiercely compassionate woman you’re becoming.

You’re not alone. I’m with you. And Quinn—oh, she understands you, loves you, and is right there with me, holding space.

Let’s rise through the rage—and find clarity on the other side.

With love, fire, and deep, real tenderness,
 Britta

Feel First, Decide Later: Emotions as the Key to Divorce Clarity - Part 113 Aug 202400:35:52

Episode 24: Hey loves, it's been a minute since I last recorded, and today's episode is all about getting real and raw. I'm diving deep into the messy, uncertain parts of my own journey—especially around what it means to live a good life, and how to handle all the emotions that come with it. If you're considering divorce, you're really going to connect with this one.

I'll share some personal struggles, including a recent, challenging moment with my teenage son that left me questioning everything about parenting. I’ll also talk about the surprising emotional work that comes up even in the healthiest relationships and how that’s been shaking up my world.

But here's the heart of today's episode: feeling your feelings. I’ve seen how powerful it can be to stop running from emotions and instead, sit with them in your body. I’ll guide you through a meditation technique that I use with my clients to help process those intense emotions and reclaim your inner power.

I'm also reflecting on the importance of community and how healing together can be so much more powerful than going it alone. We all need a village, and I’m excited to keep building that with you.

So join me as we navigate this wild journey together, with all its messiness, beauty, and growth. And don't miss the separate meditation episode that I’ve created for you to use whenever you need it. 🌟

Permission to Be in Process22 Jul 202500:13:29

Episode 67: Hey loves 💗,

This week’s episode is a little different—short, unfiltered, and deeply vulnerable. I hit record right in the middle of my own "tower moment" (yep, for my tarot friends out there, that card 🌩️), where everything feels like it’s crumbling... and I’m letting it.

Instead of packaging my process into a neatly wrapped episode with clear takeaways, I’m inviting you into the middle of the mess with me. This is me practicing what I preach—laying down the role of the “one who always holds it together” and learning to surrender to what I can’t control 😮‍💨💔.

If you’re also in a season of uncertainty, fear, or raw transformation, I hope this gives you permission to breathe, to stop fixing, and to just be where you are. Sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is admit we’re not okay... and trust that it’s still enough 💞.

I love you all so much. Thanks for being part of this sacred space. May you feel seen, held, and deeply worthy—even in the mess.

xo,

Britta 💕✨

Affairs Part 2: Five Mistakes Husbands Make When They Find Out & What Women Really Want in Relationship (hint, you'll find it in the ACOTAR series)02 Jul 202401:10:13

Episode 21: Hey beautiful souls! 🌟

I'm back, and today we're diving into two powerful topics: affairs and the societal shift in romantic relationships. After a family trip to Vegas triggered my CPTSD, I had to press pause and focus on my healing. This break gave me the clarity to bring more depth to our discussions. 🙏

In Part Two of our series on affairs, we'll explore the history of marriage, societal expectations, and the five biggest mistakes husbands make when discovering an affair. These insights will help whether you're dealing with infidelity or contemplating divorce. 💔

Beyond individual marriages, we’re redefining what's acceptable in relationships. Centuries of inequality and hidden abuse towards women are being challenged, and it's time to change that narrative. Let's celebrate our rights to live independently and embrace true mutuality in relationships. 🏡💪

I'll share a personal story about how patriarchy limits men and women, and how embracing our full emotional spectrum can lead to fulfilling partnerships. 🌈❤️ We’ll also discuss "A Court of Thorns and Roses" and its portrayal of relationships based on mutual respect and equality. 📚

Join me as we advocate for a future of true partnership and deep connections. 🌟✨

Tune in, own your truth, and let's navigate this journey together. 💪💖

Affairs Part 1: The Pros and Cons18 Jun 202401:19:55

Episode 20: Hello, my lovelies! 💖

This is the episode many of you have been waiting for! After a few bumps in the road, I’m back at the mic, grounded and ready to dive into the intricate topic of affairs.

In this two-part series, we’ll break down the pros and cons of affairs with a realistic approach. Remember, these are just thoughts and stories, so always check in with your inner truth. 💡

We’ll explore the messy and complex world of infidelity, its impact on personal growth, and what choosing an affair might really mean. If you're in or considering an affair, it’s crucial to understand the implications. I’m sharing three pros and two cons from my experiences and those of my clients, highlighting both the highs and lows.

### Pros:
1. Realizing what's been missing in your life. 🌸 Many women marry for stability but later crave deeper physical and emotional intimacy.
2. Awakening to your sexuality and desires, transforming your understanding of love and fulfillment. 💕
3. Show up for yourself and make a move forward towards honoring what you desire most and is missing. 🌿

### Cons:
1. Labeling yourself as a bad person. 😔 The guilt and mind games can be overwhelming, but it's crucial to challenge harmful narratives.
2. Emotional turmoil from secrecy and lying. Affairs can highlight unmet needs but also bring significant emotional challenges.

We’ll also discuss the stereotypes around women who have affairs, the cultural and religious influences on our views, and how these issues are symptoms of deeper problems in marriages. The roles we think we’re supposed to play are not enough. Women are asking for more—emotional connection, intimacy, and authenticity.

Affairs are not the problem but a symptom of deeper issues. Just like in *Les Mis*, where the main character is punished for stealing bread, we need to look beyond the surface and address the root causes.

Join me as we peel back the layers and embrace the possibility of living a fully expressed and authentic life. 💖

Catch you next week for part two, where we'll dive even deeper! 🌿✨
