In this in depth movie review, we discuss the plotholes and flaws of this epic failure and find out what it means to truly feel bloated. Movie lovers will hate this.

We are getting ahead of the competition and making our year end top 10 movies list right now! Warning. Strong opinions incoming. Lots of hot takes and more than a few controversial picks. This is it folks! The 2025 SpoilerCast Top 10 list.

ATTENTION!

We recorded this about a day before Netflix's aquisition of Warner Bros, so while the title of this episode is even more accurate now, we won't be discussing this. We are defnitely doing that for the next episode though.

It's that time of year again. When we come together and collectively show how much we absolutely despise Netflix and their endless pursuit to ruin movies and TV. We take a look at two of their new Christmas movies; Champagne problems and A merry little ex-mas. We brek down why they are not just terrible cookie cutter, second screen slop, but is actively hurting the film and TV industry.

We have arrived at the sixth extinction. This is the end. Wicked: For good is the worst movie I have ever seen. Not just this year, not just musicals. It is the worst movie of all time! What's even worse is that it will probably get great reviews and make hundreds of millions of dollars at the boxoffice. Humanity has reached apotheosis.

The running man is a fast paced sci-fi action movie that takes place in the dystopian future of 2025 society where the people are being blinded to their own misery by endless reality TV and violent gameshows. It is a fun action movie but fails to deliver its message... because we are already living in this dystopian future. This movie would have made sense about 10 years ago.

Chris Stuckmann has been talking about movies on youtube for almost 15 years, and he has finally put his money where his mouth is and mad his own movie. Shelby Oaks is a loveletter to all of Chris Stuckmann's favorite movies and genres, but is there enough of his own ideas in there to make it his own story? Does 15 years of reviewing movies make you a good filmmaker?

Halloween is finally here and we take a look at the perfect movie for you Halloween playlist. Dark night of the scarecrow was a 1981 made for TV movie but it deserved so much more. This deserves to be mentioned next to the greats like The exorcist, Halloween and Jaws. Do not skip this episode as we analyse this movie and explain the controversial ending.

In this episode we are talking about the 2025 horror movie starring, for some reason, Pete Davidson. We also take a look at the Swedish 2025 movie The home (Hemmet in Swedish) Starring Gizen Erdogan and Philip Oros. Two very different movies with the same name. Is there actually a connection here outsie of the name? No not really. We just wanted to talk about both of them.

It the sequel to one of the best horror movies of the last five years. The sequel no one excpected, or even wanted? Black Phone 2 dives in to the murky depths of the origin of Ethan Hawke's The grabber and raises the stakes for Mason Thames and Madeleine McGraw. It brings more scares, more gore and more of everything, but does it go too far, turning fright into filth? Join us as we discus on of the most anticipated movies of 2025

The long walk is Stephen King's dystopian reflection of a time past. It is a bleak but entertaining thriller that delivers on both great acting from Cooper Hoffman, David Johnson and Mark Hamill, and Great writing from JT Mollner and of course Stephen King. But has the almost 60 year old book aged as well as some people think, or ist it more a product of its time? Join us on this Marathon analysis of The Long Walk.

Paul Thomas Anderson is back with his latest movie and, just like we predicted, a dang masterpiece! For almost 30 years, He has been making masterpiece after masterpiece. Not missing a single time. How is this possible? Has any other director done this? literally zero misses!

The NFL is an absolute nightmare. Chronic brain injuries, predatory player contracts, billion-dollar owners laughing all the way to the bank while players risk their health, and the toxic culture of glorified violence — football is already a horror movie

So evereybody has been talking about the new War of the worlds movie starring Ice Cube. Everything from the CGI to the acting has been ridiculed, and rightfully so, but what if I told you that it gets worse? WAY WORSE. We take a deep dive into the ridiculously bad movie and then we examine the behindthe scenes drama and uncover the straight up evil stuff that was going on during the editing of War of the worlds. People are acting like this is the worst movie of the year, but I say we can't let it get away with just being the worst movie of the year, this might actually be the worst movie of all time.

For over 10 years we have watched Vera farmiga and Patrick Wilson stand united in the face of evil. Now they are back for one final fright. Will this final movie live up to the standards the franchise as set? Will we get a satisfying ending, or will the producers still squeeze in a potential sequel bait? All will be revealed in this deep dive analysis of The Conjuring: Last rites

In this episode of The Spoilercast we take a look at the new Darren Aronofsky movie Caught stealing. Starring Austin Butler and Zoe Kravitz, Caught stealing takes us back to a simpler time, both figuratively and literally. It is a fast paced, quippy crime thriller that harkens back to the smaller, more carefully crafted movies of the 90s, and we are totally on board.

We take a look at two of the most praised horror movies of 2025, Weapons and Bring her back. But which one of them is actually the better horror movie? Lets do a completely unnecessary vs of the two and arbitrarily pit them against eachother to farm more views.

Summer is over and we are quickly approaching spooky season, but before that we have to talk about all the new movies we watched over the summer.

In the final Summer extravaganza episode, we settle a dispute that has been going on for decades. Which are the greatest Horror movie sequels of all time? Are there actually any good horror movie sequels, and how many of them are Jason X? All this and much more will be revealed in this episode of The Spoilercast.

So obviously, Peter Jackson's Lord of the rings trilogy are the greatest fantasy movies of all time, but if you couldn't pick any of those... what are the other top 10 fantasy movies? Find out in this episode of The SpoilerCast.

Ask me to list my top 10 horror movies from the 70s, 80s or even the 2000s and I could do it in a second. the 90s however, yikes. that was a wasteland, so we sat down and did the work no one else dares to do.

Car chases, explosions, ultraviolence and badass oneliners. This list has it all!

We are celebrating the summer with five top 10 lists. The first is what movies we love this year so far.

I really didn't think it could get any worse after Jurassic World Dominion. That was genuinely one of the dumbest movies I had ever seen. Somehow, Jurassic world rebirth is worse. Not dumber, but definitely worse.

We just saw the new F1 movie — and it's not just good, it's easily the best blockbuster of the year. In this episode, we dive deep into why this film absolutely blew us away. From the intense racing sequences to the surprisingly emotional storytelling and killer performances, this movie delivers on every level.

We break down the film’s standout moments, how it compares to other racing films (spoiler: it crushes them), and why we think no other 2025 release is likely to top it. Whether you're an F1 fan or not, this movie is pure cinematic adrenaline — and we’re here to tell you why it works so damn well.

This week we are doing something a litle different. We are discussing the 2009 album The empyrean by John Frusciante. We discuss the music, the themes and the emotional power behind really good music.

Dangerous Animals mostly sticks to the usual formula, but a few unexpected choices—and a genuinely strong performance from Jai Courtney—lift it above the pack. He finally gets to act, and it shows. We break down where it works, where it doesn’t, and why it’s worth a second look. Watch the full review now.

We review Ballerina (2025), the new spin-off from the John Wick universe — and to our surprise, it's actually amazing. Stylish, brutal, and way more than a cash grab, Ballerina delivers legit action with Ana de Armas leading the charge. Is it better than John Wick? We break it all down.

In this episode of The SpoilerCast, we break down and review Karate Kid: Legends — the latest legacy sequel to the beloved Karate Kid franchise. Is it a worthy addition to the iconic series, or just another nostalgia-fueled cash grab? While Karate Kid: Legends offers solid entertainment and a few fresh ideas, it ultimately feels like a movie designed more to capitalize on the legacy of the original than to stand on its own. Still, it's a fun ride that manages to justify its existence — even if no one will be talking about it six months from now.

We discuss the film’s strengths, its weaker moments, and whether it brings anything truly new to the table. If you're a fan of martial arts movies, 80s reboots, or just curious whether this installment is worth your time, this episode is for you.

Spoilers, and brutally honest opinions included.

This week, we watched Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning… and folks, Tom Cruise has officially lost the plot.

In a movie stuffed with faux-philosophical ramblings about fate, destiny, and the nature of choice, the only real choice we had was whether to laugh or cry. Spoiler: we laughed. A lot.

Despite the highest stakes ever™️, there’s never any real tension—because let’s be honest, we all know Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt is untouchable. The film throws existential monologues at you like it’s Oppenheimer, then immediately launches into a mid-air biplane chase where Cruise is hanging from the wing like a messianic daredevil auditioning for God himself. And somehow, it only gets dumber from there.

At this point, Ethan Hunt isn’t a spy—he’s a prophet, a savior, a man burdened with destiny and an unlimited stunt budget. And while the script tries to convince us that the fate of the world hangs in the balance, it’s hard to feel suspense when the lead seems convinced he is the balance.

Yet… somehow… it’s kind of brilliant? The stunts are mind-blowingly over-the-top, the set pieces defy logic, and it’s all so self-serious that it wraps around and becomes unintentionally hilarious. This isn’t action cinema—it’s operatic chaos, and we couldn’t look away.

If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to watch a franchise implode in slow motion while its star walks on air, this is the episode for you.

🎧 Tune in for our full breakdown, hot takes, and incredulous laughter.

This week we watched Final Destination: Bloodlines — and yeah, it’s exactly what you think it is. A corny, cheesy, over-the-top throwback to those mid-2000s B-horror, B-movie, B-tier classics. Is it good? Is it bad? Is it so bad it’s good? We break down the death scenes, the dumb logic, and the deliciously predictable plot twists that make Bloodlines either a trashy gem or just plain trash.

If you're into Final Destination movies, Final Destination kills, or Final Destination chaos, you might just love this one. Or hate it. Either way, we had fun. Tune in for our full review, reaction, and rundown on the latest deathtrap sequel nobody asked for—but we’re kinda glad we got.

Marvel’s The Thunderbolts is finally here... and it’s somehow even worse than we imagined. In this episode, we rip into The Thunderbolts — a movie so painfully dumb, so shamelessly pandering, and so lazily written it makes Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania look like The Godfather.

The writing is bad. The direction is worse. And the performances — even from talented actors like Florence Pugh — are buried under layers of cringe-worthy Marvel nonsense. This is peak Disney formula at its most hollow. If you're exhausted by the MCU, Thunderbolts is the final nail in the coffin.

We dive into everything wrong with this disaster:

– Florence Pugh wasted again

– Generic Disney-mandated character arcs

– Cringe dialogue that insults your intelligence

– MCU fatigue reaching critical levels

– A plot that might’ve been written by AI... bad AI

If you're looking for a Thunderbolts review, Thunderbolts breakdown, and Thunderbolts reaction that isn’t afraid to say what you’re thinking — this is it. Disney, Marvel, the MCU — we’re done pretending this stuff is good.

🎬 Sinners Movie Review – Overhyped and Unfocused? Full Analysis Inside

Everyone’s singing the praises of Sinners — but does it really deserve the hype? In this deep dive, we break down the story, themes, and structure of the film, and explain why I found it ultimately unfocused, uneven, and overrated, even when my co-host loved it.

While the movie tries to say something profound, it ends up drowning in its own ambition. This isn’t just another surface-level review — it’s an honest critique of a film that many seem too quick to call a masterpiece.

If you’re looking for a Sinners movie explained type breakdown, or a detailed analysis of the film’s themes and storytelling, this is it. I explore what the movie gets wrong, where it loses focus, and why the praise may be more about style than substance. Whether you loved it or hated it, this breakdown might make you see Sinners in a different light.

f you agree, disagree, or just feel confused by the movie, let me know in the comments — let’s talk about it.

Rami Malek goes sicko mode in the new Spy thriller The Amateur. Is this Mr Robot meets John Wick, or just John Wick with tech support? Laurence Fishburne kicks ass and John Bernthal is in the movie for literally three minutes while Rami Malek tries his hardest to break his typecasting curse.

We break down the film's plot, tone, action, and whether or not Rami Malek should ever hold a gun on screen again.

We review A Minecraft Movie—the long-awaited, blocky adventure based on the iconic video game. Is it fun, frustrating, or just forgettable? In this episode, we dive into the film's story, structure, and style, breaking down what worked (surprisingly) and what didn’t.

While critics are calling it a disaster, we think there’s more to it than just bad jokes and pixel nostalgia. Sure, it's clunky, chaotic, and clearly made for kids, but it also has a weird charm we can’t fully dismiss. If you're curious whether this movie is worth watching, worth skipping, or worth mocking, we've got you covered.

Whether you're a Minecraft fan or just here for the chaos, this episode is for you.

Faith, fear, and control—Heretic weaves them all together in a tense, psychological horror that lingers long after the credits roll. In this episode, we break down the film’s unsettling atmosphere, its exploration of belief and manipulation, and how it challenges the idea of free will. Is faith a source of strength, or a tool for control? Let’s dive into the horror, the philosophy, and the dread.

What did Heretic leave you thinking about? Was it a chilling horror story, or something deeper? Let us know your thoughts in the comments! And if you enjoyed this breakdown, don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share—it helps more than you know. New episodes every week, so stay tuned!

After years of re-shoots, drama and controversy, Snow white is finally here! Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot does their very best to carry this trainwreck and surprisingly it succeeds. Some people will probably still hate this, but for some (i.e me) this was actually a wonderfully quaint fairy tale adventure with very strong character building and a strong message of non violence and kindness.

We discuss the emotional highs and the stunning resolution that brought us to tears. Plus, we explore the film's decision to avoid the typical "girl boss" tropes, keeping Snow White strong without sacrificing her vulnerability.

If you enjoyed this episode, don’t forget to rate and review! Your feedback helps us reach more movie lovers just like you.

Mickey 17 is Bong Joon-ho’s latest sci-fi film, but does his social commentary hit too hard? In this review, I break down why Mickey 17 feels like a sledgehammer when it comes to its message.

While Bong Joon-ho is undeniably a skilled filmmaker, his approach to social themes often feels blunt and pandering—and Mickey 17 is no exception.

Does the film’s technical brilliance outweigh its heavy-handed messaging? Or is Bong Joon-ho repeating the same overly obvious themes from Parasite and Snowpiercer? Let’s talk about it.

🔴 Do you think Bong Joon-ho’s social commentary is too on-the-nose? Drop a comment below!

The Gorge" is a surprisingly great action movie that no one will ever watch. Despite being directed by Scott Derrickson (Doctor Strange, The Black Phone), starring Anya Taylor-Joy (The Queen’s Gambit, Furiosa) and Trent Reznor composing the score, this film has been completely buried by the endless flood of streaming content. With insane action, fun characters, and a solid story, this would have been a must-watch blockbuster about 20 years ago—but now barely anyone even knows it exists. Why? Because streaming platforms don’t care. If a movie isn’t part of an established franchise, it gets dumped with zero promotion. This is exactly what’s wrong with modern Hollywood. Great original movies like The Gorge don’t stand a chance against Marvel, Star Wars, and endless reboots. Will this movie be forgotten before it even releases? Let’s talk about it.
