Ascension is where we are all headed. It is our destiny on Earth.

An Ascended Master doesn’t just have control over mind, but matter too. That’s the key to spiritual evolution – and the reason we’re all here.

One of the most famous examples of Ascension is the Master Jesus.

After he died on the cross, the Master Jesus was able to consciously split up the matter of his physical body and transmute it into a body of much finer physical material – one which he could use to inhabit whatever realm of existence on Earth that he wished.

This concept of transmuting matter goes much further even than the alchemists of old. The alchemists were concerned with turning lead into gold; realizing their own Divine nature, but as individuals. This was the age-old wisdom of transmigration.

In the New Age wisdom of Mars Sector 6, transmutation is an all-encompassing evolutionary process in which we are responsible for raising all life – all thought and all matter – through the different levels of existence, back to the Divine.

There is really only one major “sin” on Earth.

Can you guess what it is?

The Nine Freedoms gives us useful answers free from the traditional dogma and religious baggage that have obscured this and other simple truths.

In true meditation, you experience a deep state of oneness.

You know that all things are part of a vast, interrelated cosmic whole.

There are many spiritual traditions on Earth which have worshipped the Sun – and they have not been wrong in doing so.

According to the Cosmic Masters, the Sun is the most holy being in our Solar System.

Everything we eat, everything we drink, everything we touch is solidified sunlight; the power and energy of those beings who make up the radiations of the Sun. When we feel the rays of the Sun upon our face, those rays have come from them. These beings are known as the Solar Lords. And we only exist because of them!

In the ninth – and final – Freedom, Mars Sector 6 describes Solar Existence as total freedom. He also tells us why this is so.

Kundalini is a mystical power located at the base of the spine, sometimes referred to as the “Serpent Power”. Controlling this power is key to Enlightenment, Cosmic Consciousness and beyond.

After we have reached Ascension – the final initiation for all of us on Earth – we are free from the wheel of rebirth.

#10 – What Are The Ascended Masters Really Like?

In the Fifth Freedom, Mars Sector 6 describes Cosmic Consciousness – the highest state of consciousness we can achieve on Earth.

Only a relative handful have ever experienced this state, and even fewer have tried to describe it publicly.

In one parable told by the nineteenth-century Hindu Saint Ramakrishna, four friends were out for a walk when they saw a place enclosed by a high wall and were eager to know what was inside.

One of them climbed to the top of the wall and was speechless with wonder at what he saw before him. He could not describe it; only cry out in awe and jump over the wall.

His friends quickly scaled the wall themselves to follow him. They could not describe it either, but the exquisite, blissful look upon their faces, and the sound of their exclamation as they gazed upon the Absolute, were enough to inspire others to follow them too.

This state is indeed something which cannot be described – only experienced, but by following someone who has been to the “other side,” we can, one day, experience it ourselves too.

That said, there are at least two people who have described this state for us in writing probably better than anyone else.

Clairvoyance, psychic touch, psychic hearing – psychic abilities in general – are in fact all perfectly normal!

Having psychic abilities can make the world feel like a fuller, more liberating, and more exciting place to be. You’ll be able to do things you never thought were possible. And it starts with overcoming our fear of the unknown.

When we overcome our fear, we start to unleash our potential. One aspect of this potential is our intuition – contact with our Higher Self. If I asked you what you thought the first step on the ladder to enlightenment was, what would you say? Compassion? Kindness? Humility? Mars Sector 6 tells us–unambiguously–that the first step on the ladder is Bravery.

Without it, to paraphrase another great Master, we will get nowhere.

Life is about experience. This experience is comprised of many tests. And difficult as it may be–because we all have fears–it is wise to remember that whatever tests we face in life, they can all be overcome–providing we have bravery.

For example, taking to the spiritual path and devoting ourselves to Truth, no matter what anyone says to discourage us, is one test we all must face sooner or later…

When we demonstrate bravery and pass the tests that face us in life, we become better, wiser people – and take one step closer to true spiritual enlightenment.

In short: Bravery is essential on the path to wisdom.

The victory of true spiritual bravery in our own lives, through experience, is an aspect of the only victory that really matters – the victory of our Higher Selves over our lower selves, for the sake of the God Spark within us all.

Who would you consider more spiritual? An atheist with the courage to leave home and serve others suffering in terrible poverty, or a devoted yogi secluded in the Himalayas in pursuit of their own enlightenment – and only their own enlightenment?

At one time it was normal for the most committed of spiritual seekers to break away from humanity and pursue their own enlightenment without due regard for the suffering of others. Not that it didn’t take an outstanding person to do this. It did. But was it completely right?

Even today there is still the feeling that you could enlighten yourself first with the intention of serving others later. But given our situation on Earth, can we really afford to wait?

The old approach of spirituality being about yourself, your own enlightenment, and your own communion with God, purely for its own sake – will no longer work. We should all go within at times, but with the overriding motive of using this experience to help us serve others. That’s the big change! That’s the message of Mars Sector 6 in The Third Freedom.

The beauty of it is that when you serve others and spend the time to go within, you can serve far more than ever before – and advance faster too.

In short, spiritual self-development is vital, but service comes first, not second.

We’re thrilled that WCET FM, a radio station in the USA, has invited international bestselling author and spiritual teacher, Richard Lawrence, to host a new show bringing you the wisdom of some of the greatest spiritual teachings ever given to Earth: The Nine Freedoms.

Richard has appeared on radio, tv and in the press around the world thousands of times. He has been Executive Secretary of The Aetherius Society for Europe for over 40 years and is a leading disciple of Master of Yoga Dr George King.

Following the success of this 2-hour premiere, the show’s producer Tim Roxbury has now invited Richard to do the show every week instead of just once a month. So, starting next month, on February 6th, The Spiritual Freedom Show with Richard Lawrence, will be broadcast for 1 hour every Saturday on WCET FM at 12 noon Eastern Time (9am Pacific Time and usually 5pm UK Time). It will also be published as a podcast after it has aired.

What can you look forward to?
Each week Richard will play extracts from The Nine Freedoms. He’ll share some of the knowledge he gained from his spiritual teacher and close friend, Dr King, as he draws out the inner meaning of the text so that you can apply it in your own life. You’ll also hear from people, like you, revealing the “Moment of Truth” which turned them towards the spiritual path. And Richard will answer questions sent in to us, which Darren Ball will put to him on air. It’s not just talk though – each show will also include a spiritual practice led by a guest presenter for you to try!
