It's okay with me if this ruffles some feathers; in fact, I expect it will....

Yes, I said it.

I need you to understand this: There is something sacred about your desires. They were placed on your heart by your higher power and your higher self. Your spirit knows that your desires are meant to be in your experience. They are sacred and meant to be kept close to the heart.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying your loved ones don't support you. In fact, it's likely the opposite! They love you so much that they don't want you to get let down and waste your money - time -or energy on something they think will fail.

They might not have the courage or the entrepreneurial spirit you do! So they will try to keep you safe. And as harsh as it may sound, they may not have your best interest at heart…jealousy can wreak havoc on goals and dreams.

And remember how last week we talked about decision-making? Their decision that your thing won't work might be stronger than your decision (at the moment) that it will.

Do you really want someone else energy to weigh your dreams down when it takes so much work to lift them up?

Making Sh*t Happen! Attachment, Detachment, and OBSESSING!

Can we just talk about how manifesting is a whole ass art? Like it's an art, a skill, a power that, once learned, can not be taken from you!

But be careful, because you're constantly making decisions, and they aren't always in your favor. What do I mean?

Well, think about it, Babe! What happens when you say, "Ugh, it's going to be a sh*itty day! Traffic is going to be terrible, Karen is totally going to be "Karening," and I know today is going to suck."

Then….as predicted, THE DAY SUCKS. It's not that you made traffic appear or that you made Karen be a Karen…. it's that you made an internal decision, and then your brain looked for those experiences.

So anytime you fully make a decision, feel it, and KNOW IT, it will undoubtedly happen.

In contrast….be careful to detach! Obsessing creates an energy of lack, resistance, and just ew for the universe (and people).

So, let's dive deep into attachment, decision-making, detachment, and obsession in this and other areas of our lives, shall we?

Manifesting is literally one decision away. The brain doesn't know the difference between what you tell it (with a connected emotion) and what it's actually experiencing. This is why manifesting is an art! Once you learn the true vibe of deciding, you will know each time if you're going to manifest or not.

Why you’re afraid of your intuition!

I was afraid of being a medium. I was fearful of my intuition, the things I felt, and the fact that I was possibly a crazy person. When you're a strong and unmanaged intuitive, your gifts can feel more like a curse than a blessing! Throughout my life, my dreams were petrifying. No really, I had sleep paralysis from "energetic vampires!" In my waking hours, I constantly felt watched, listened to, stood over, and more. Even when home alone, I would hear noises, music, and voices. Talk about overwhelming! The older I got, the better I got at ignoring it (or so I thought). My intuition scared me because I didn't know what it was. I didn't know if ghosts were real or if I was crazy. I didn't understand why I had such vivid dreams, and others didn't. I didn't understand why I was obsessed with scary movies, psychics, and creepy stories. It wasn't for the entertainment, but something drew me to them! Combine all this and the constant feeling of anxiety that comes with unmanaged intuitive gifts, and you've got yourself a pretty good recipe for depression! Your Inner Child Is Holding You Back!

How do we truly begin to heal and let go of the past? Over the years, I have learned that to truly heal; we must release. Releasing in order to heal means forgiving, setting ourselves free, calling our energy back, and letting go of trauma bonds. One main way to access this level of healing is through the Inner Child and the Higher Self! What is the inner child, and why is it important?“Essentially, our inner child is the forgiving, free-spirited part of us that still feels and experiences life as a child. But, just as it carries the positive aspects of being a child (like innocence, joy and creativity), it also carries the wounding of our past.” - Vas Touranis Therapists will often guide you to look at and work with your inner child however, Spirit guides us to truly heal and release. Our higher self will guide the inner child to visit the moments the subconscious still clings to and then call those pieces back to our physical body and Spirit. This process is also known in shamanic practices as a soul retrieval! When you work with your inner child from a spiritual perspective, you actually collect and call back missing pieces of you. As humans, we don’t realize that we leave energy everywhere we go. When we have traumatic or painful experiences, we often leave pieces of our energy/spirit in those moments. We are still (spiritually speaking) in those moments, which is why they become so hard to let go of and affect us subtly throughout life. Mental Fatigue - Create Mental Space

How to create more mental space? Mental fatigue can be physically paralyzing. It feels like you're tired, but you know you slept. It's like you can faceplant on a tiled floor and sleep for days like you are thinking of everything, yet nothing all at once.

Mental fatigue can have you feeling like you're stuck yet spinning out of control. So much of our mental fatigue is created by the massive amounts of "invisible labor" that we do all day, every day.

What is invisible labor, you ask? It's ruminating on all the things you have to do and carrying that mental load with you daily. Invisible labor is thinking of everything you must do, like "I need to go grocery shopping; what did my son say he needs for school? What about that birthday party, did I get a gift? I should reach out to the mom and see what he likes. Ok, kid 1 has this karate, and kid 2 has dance class at the same time; how do I be in two places at once? The husband said he would make dinner tonight, but what will everyone want to eat? I have to go to the store and get XYZ. If I go here at this time, I can make it back to finish work at this time. Oh, I need to make the doctor's appointments, and I still need to send those emails."The consistent replaying of thoughts such as these is invisible labor and takes a MASSIVE amount of cognitive energy every. single. day.

It always leads to mental fatigue, which can look like:

Brain fog
Unexplained exhaustion
Feeling burnt out
Feeling overwhelmed
Feeling paralyzed
Zoning out/disassociating
Beating yourself up for not completing tasks even though you're doing all the things

5 Ways To Make Your Spiritual Connections MUCH Easier!

I remember when I was starting to develop my mediumship gifts; it was equal parts scary, frustrating, and exciting! Frightening for so many reasons. Would people think I'm crazy? Was I crazy? What if something dangerous came through? It was exciting because, duh! Frustrating because there were no clear-cut steps laid out for me.

I didn't know about spirit guides, grounding, and protection at the time. I certainly didn't realize there was a process to connecting with your spirit team. I wish I had known what I know now; it would have made the whole thing much more straightforward and effective.

Before I keep going, please know that patience is part of the practice.

Often, Spirit will give you a ton of breadcrumbs and then go silent. This happens when we have been given a lesson and still need to implement it. Once we do, we will be given so much more and at a higher level!

It's so magical; this stuff lights me up, friend! Learning to be guided instead of trying to steer a ship with no wheel will change your life forever! My job is to help you learn how to do it!

Good Vs. Bad Meditations

Unpopular opinion, meditation can make us judge ourselves even more than we would have without it. Yep, I said it! Meditation is supposed to take us to a peaceful place, a higher vibration, and provide a sense of connection with the self. It's about gaining clarity and calm. However, sometimes, depending on how you're looking at it, meditation can have you judging yourself harder than before you started.

We all do it! We judge our meditations, and we judge ourselves for not being able to meditate the "right" way.

Listen, I teach people to connect with their spirit guides and higher selves. I also teach people to practice their mediumship and Psychic abilities. To do these things, yes, you need to learn to meditate, but this is not the sole reason for mediation. If that's the only thing you're using it for, then yea, you're meditating wrong.

Meditation is for you to gain clarity, calm, deeper awareness, and connectedness with all of your human experience.

Most of the time, when we label a meditation as good or bad, it's because we did not "achieve" the state of bliss or connectedness we set out to.

Some days my meditations are deep and trance-like. Other times I'm looking at the black behind my eyes, wondering how much time I have left and thinking of everything I have to do.

Both are equally as important!

When you show up even if you have a monkey mind, you're training your mind, body, and subconscious that you're worthy of these few moments of silence. You're also simultaneously telling your spirit team you're available for them!

When you meditate consistently and around the same time, big things happen!

It becomes easier to drop into a "good meditation" because your subconscious is ready for it.

Relationships & Becoming Your Authentic You Through Awakening!

Awakening is a beautiful, wonderful, and confusing process. It's shedding the skin you've worn for the world to reveal who you are at your core. It guides you towards acceptance of the true self and reveals the beautiful, soft, loving soul that you are!

While incredibly beautiful, awakening can feel messy and isolating at times.

You see, most of us are conditioned into becoming who we THINK others need us to be. We take on beliefs, personalities and operate in manners that we believe will make other people happy and comfortable.

In a way, before our awakenings, we are simply playing a role, living out a character that we have created alongside society, our family, and friends.

Eventually, we start feeling the resistance to this character and, during awakening, are led deeper into the true self and further away from the role we've been playing.

During this process, we can feel as if it's hard to connect with those around us. We may feel like the people we love are falling away, and our "old life" isn't fitting in with our new.

Tests Vs. Challenges From The Universe!

Is the universe testing you? Do you ever feel like you can't catch a break no matter what you do and how hard you try?

I get it! I used to think life was out to get me, but then once I got more positive, I shifted to "the universe loves to test me."

I always tell people DONT ASK if anything else can go wrong because that is like asking for more challenges!

Challenges, you ask? Yes! Challenges!

A few years ago, I was talking to my spirit guides about the "tests" they had been bringing to me. I didn't understand how I could be doing everything they wanted me to do, such as advocating for mediums and psychics, giving readings, doing my inner work, etc., and still being served with constant "tests."

Then, as clear as day, I heard, "not tests challenges - opportunities to see your growth."

"It feels like tests," I responded.

But no, what I was shown was much more profound than my ego trying to tell me I wasn't good enough to pass these universal tests. I was shown that if looked at as challenges, I could see that I was being shown just how far I had come! I was being guided to see how I handled situations better than before, how I didn't get so worked up, how I kept my cool, and how I saw the patterns and could choose differently.

Those challenges were lessons and opportunities to see how my hard work had paid off. I was gifted with those experiences to see my life from a different perspective.
