When you hear the name MAS QUE NADA, you know your ears will be a wash with some of the finest beats house music has to offer, as this DJ and Production Duo from the north of England always have their fingers firmly on the pulse when it comes to what really works for a crowded dance floor. With regular appearances in the UK at the likes of Ministry, XOYO & Studio 338 these ‘Not Actual Brothers’ can also be seen spinning their wares in Austria this coming April for Snowbombing alongside the likes of Bicep, Fat Boy Slim and Rudimental. (And if you can manage to squeeze your way into one of the busiest clubs in Ibiza this summer you’ll understand what a proper party looks like when it kicks off in a sweaty toilet at Hi.)

With it being the season of goodwill, we decided here at the Slimson Podcast to give you one last special episode before we head into the New year.  A 'Slimson Stocking Filler' packed full of House Music goodness!  Going right back to the early 80s this DJ, Producer and Rapper has been at the forefront of all things House & Techno whether it be as a weekly resident at  Acid House Night ‘RIP’ on Clink Street, making number one records as the frontman of the Shamen or opening the legendary nightclub The End in London.  And 2022 is looking just as busy for Mr C as he takes his Superfreq party out on a 20th Anniversary Tour, with dates in the USA, Ecuador, Switzerland, London, Manchester and Leeds.

London & Newcastle are where you can find Griff in the UK nowadays, but it’s IBIZA that has always been his spiritual home with gigs on the island at PIKES, AMNESIA, PRIVILEGE, HI, MAMBO & IBIZA ROCKS.
As a producer he has released on the likes of Doorly’s Reptile Dysfunction Label with both stand alone tracks and an official remix for BACK TALK’S Paradise featuring Idris Elba alongside remixes from both SKREAM and Patrick Topping.
The vinyl release of his GRIFF’S GAFF EP had support in the booth from the likes of Artwork, Richy Ahmed and DJ Harvey....so you know the future is always going to be bright for this musical scotsman
