À l’âge de 13 ans, Laurie a subi un accident dans lequel son corps a été brûlé à 20 %. On l’a plongée dans un coma artificiel pendant trois semaines, après quoi sa guérison a nécessité une panoplie de traitements. Du port de bandages 23 heures par jour à l’application de nombreuses crèmes et la réalisation d’une multitude d’interventions, nous abordons les défis que cette jeune femme a dû affronter ainsi que sa perspective unique de la peau et de la beauté. Aujourd’hui âgée de 19 ans et étudiante en médecine, Laurie démontre une grande sagesse et est une véritable source d’inspiration.
