House Of The Dragon Season 2 Episode 8 FINALE - The Queen Who Ever Was - Discussion, Breakdown, Review, Recap, Predictions, REACTION.

The Salty Nerds are EXTRA salty on this breakdown review for the season 2 finale of the Game Of Thrones spin-off House Of The Dragon. Yes, a lot of stories were paid off and season 3 was set up, but it was done in the most boring way possible and left the entire crew with extreme BLUE BALLS as to no major payoff for the season.

That's not to say season 2 of the House Of The Dragon was bad. But it certainly wasn't as good as it could have been, and at worst, it was extremely BORING and spent way too much time on stuff no one cares about.

A lot of stuff happened this episode, but the BIG news is that Team Black now has a TON of Dragons! After Addam of Hull reveals he can ride Seasmoke, Rhaenyra puts out the call for all "lowborn" Targaryen offshoots to come try and claim a dragon, and wouldn't you know it? Hugh the Hammer and Ulf answer the call! But not before Jace gets all mopey about it. Oh, and Rhaena is on the hunt for her own dragon, Sheepstealer, in the Vale. Admittedly, it's hard to top the epicness of episode 4, but there was a lot of set-up in this episode and very little of it was interesting. Elvis Presley stars as this waiter who strikes up a whirlwind romance with a gorgeous young woman, played by Ann-Margret, who can do WAY better than a broke waiter. This movie is filled with musical numbers, senseless killing, and plenty of good ol' misogyny! Everything you could possibly want from a 1964 movie! Trevante's brilliant plan is revealed, and he's STILL upset he's thrown in jail.  Casper's crew finds the seizure kids and start drawing stuff.  Monty is quickly becoming the best character in the show, and Indian Elon Musk mans up to blast aliens with magnets.  Oh, and Mitsuki gets a magic wand and figures out what the alien language sounds like!

Yes, 8 episodes have lead to... nothing.  Pretty much nothing.  This show is awful.
