Their guests include fellow comedian Sheila Lovely, Hyde Park Operations Specialist Heather Horschler and some very happy customers. Bob tries to get Heather to talk about crazy customers, but she won’t bite.

Sal and Bob go into the crowd to play Rocky trivia, and a new segment just for Hyde Park, “Is it a Hyde Park menu item or a sexual position?” Hijinx and silliness ensue as customers try to win Sal and Bob merchandise by answering the questions correctly. Sal ropes in Hyde Park Northville staff Brianna and Anne Marie for the trivia game and laughs abound.

Throwback week! In preparation for the next few episode we decided to take you back to a fun episode from earlier this year. Enjoy! This week The Sal and Bob Show comes to you from Republic Tavern in Motown, on the eve of the Democratic Debates. The One Hit Wonder is “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands". The guys make fun of what the Democratic candidates are doing in Detroit, and really has a shot at getting nominated. The Whine List is basically Bob bitching about Jerry Seinfeld’s criticism of Bob Goldthwait and how he thinks Seinfeld considers himself apart from the rest of comedy. Sal brings up another Rocky sequel and both guys complain that Stallone has gone a step too far. Funny stories, silly jokes, all on this brand new episode of The Sal and Bob Show!

An all football episode featuring a fun and enlightening interview with the great Pro Bowl receiver Anthony Carter. Carter gives us his take on paying college players, controversial NFL penalties and why the Detroit Lions suck on this edition of The Sal and Bob Show.

It’s the Daylight Savings Time episode and our One Hit Wonder is Closing Time by the Semisonics. Sal has a funny story about Indiana time, and Bob yaps about the Plymouth Ice Festival. Sal does a World Series recap and both guys decide that Houston’s manager can never again use the word Cole. It’s a Special 2019 Halloween episode from the Sal and Bob studio, because both guys are working clubs in Michigan. Sal is at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase and Bob is performing at Mitch Gill’s Get a Room Comedy Club.

Jeff and Abby, friends of the show, go to San Diego and review Panevino, Island Prime, and Greystone Prime. Bob bitches about Fin’s Eatery in New Baltimore. Sal gives a World Series Update. Bob trashes the Bryce Harper. Both guys review Billboard’s Top 25 Halloween Songs.

Both guys talk about Michael Jackson and Thriller, then delve into Leaving Neverland and the guys who accused Jackson. Sal talks movie ideas saying there should be a true sequel to Grease, and Bob contributes a TV show idea with Gary Gulman. Bob talks about Angelle Agabashian, his first car date, who saw Grease 20 times in the movie theater. Tubular Bells, the theme from The Exorcist, takes us out on this edition of The Sal and Bob Show.

Sal and Bob. are back to talk about Brittney Griner coming home, the Detroit Lions' recent HOT STREAK, and update you on Elon Musk's recent actions as chief twit on this edition of The Sal and Bob Show.

It’s a unique episode of the Sal and Bob Show with special guest, Senior Editor at boxing’s Ring Magazine for 15 years, William Dettloff (@WilliamDettloff). Sal and Bob are at Fin's Eatery and Spirits in New Baltimore, Michigan, throwing back a couple bourbons after their show at the Civic Center. In honor of their guest The One Hit Wonder is Warren Zevon’s “Boom Boom Mancini.”

Sal and Bob complain about Sweetest Day, and bitch about White Claw, and talk about their days in amateur boxing. Both guys talk about Ray “Boom Boom” Mancini and his fight with Alexis Arguello, then his successful title challenge against Arturo Frias less than two months later.

Sal says there should be a single guy holiday, and gives his lowdown on the MLB playoffs. Bob says he no longer spins cotton candy for Halloween, and has given the machine to his daughter to continue the tradition. The guys mention their upcoming gigs. Sal gives his predictions for Big Ten football. 

Sal and Bob welcome William Dettloff, a very accomplished boxing writer who’s experience includes a biography of Ezzard Charles and fifteen years as Senior Editor for Ring Magazine.

A fantastic interview ensues with Dettloff giving his opinions on MMA, the current state of boxing, and the stars of the game. A lively back and forth is held with all three guys giving their opinions and asking questions about the future of boxing. William and Bob talk Hearns-Leonard, Marciano, Roberto Duran, Leonard-Hagler and much more.

It’s a special Duo Episode as Sal and Bob are back home at October Park Studios after a few weeks on the road. The One Hit Wonder is “Reunited” by Peaches and Herb. They talk about Matt McClowry’s Disney World Wedding, Dave Landau’s excellent officiating, and what it’s like to have nine comedians at the same wedding.

Bob reads Screen Rant’s Top Ten comedy duos. Bob disses Bob Hope again, and tells an embarrassing story about scaring the shit out of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen’s mother. Sal gets into life’s Top Ten and the guys recount their drunken munch with wine and bourbon. Sports duos, and Sal talks MLB playoffs and disses Clayton Kershaw while giving his playoff predictions. Bob explains what a gym fighter is. Sal talks Lions football and predicts the Lions will challenge for the division. Both guys go fanboy for Tom Brady. Bob whines about Sally Struthers. Why? Sal talks about roller skating back in the day and Bob says Sean Penn is turning into a cigarette. Sal takes us out with a recap of Brangelina and Bob says Trump is going to jail.

A unique and very special episode with a funny and entertaining interview with our favorite Dateline NBC reporter, Josh Mankiewicz! (@JoshMankiewicz) Coming to you from Smith & Wollensky in Columbus, Ohio, the One Hit Wonder is a nod to Dateline, Haddaway’s “What is Love,” or “Baby Don’t Hurt Me.”

Sal and Bob are huge fans of Dateline, and Josh’s reporting, so they ask questions they think other fans want to know the answers to. Josh talks about why Dateline is so compelling, quoting his colleague and fellow Dateline reporter Dennis Murphy, that “It’s not about the murder. It’s about the marriage.” Josh talks about the “CSI Effect,” which highlights how today’s jurors are affected by crime science portrayed on television, saying that OJ would probably be convicted today.

Bob asks if Josh has a favorite episode that resonated with him and gave him personal satisfaction. Josh shares one where a wrongfully convicted man was helped, in part, by Dateline’s dramatization of the facts, and was ultimately cleared of wrongdoing and freed from prison.

Sal and Josh talk about how there's an art to the interview process, and how families of murdered loved ones want to tell the story of the victim, and how Dateline helps them do that. Josh talks about the challenges in interviewing law enforcement officials. People have asked Josh if he’s scared when he interviews murderers, and his response is that he is not. Partly because it’s in a prison where the fight has gone out of the killer, and partly because the murderers want to tell their story, too.

All the guys laugh about Bill Hader’s impression of Josh, and Sal wonders how Dateline gets the “pensive” shots of the guilty drinking coffee by a window. Josh says one of the trickiest parts of the show is to keep the secret of someone’s guilt or innocence until the right time in the story. They wrap things up by agreeing to meet for a steak dinner at The Golden Steer, The Met, Michael’s Gourmet Room, Manny’s Steakhouse, or somewhere else road warriors meet. What a fun, entertaining, and insightful episode with the very gracious and funny Josh Mankiewicz.
