This resulted in Xander getting heavily involved in drugs usage himself in his early teen years. He finally shed that habit and transitioned into the military where he successfully navigated one of THE most difficult training pipelines in the entire Special Forces arena. After leaving the military Xander details how PTSD and a new drug habit almost took his life before psychedelics saved it and he was not only able to heal himself, but thrive after creating his own apparel company. Tambo was diagnosed with cancer, and although treatable, was going to be extremely expensive to treat. Fortunately, Chris knew of "Project K9 Hero", a 501(3)C nonprofit organization that cares for retired Police K9 and Military Working dogs by paying for medical care, rehabilitation, and death benefit assistance. This incredible organization paid for Tambo's surgical costs, as well as all costs associated with chemotherapy and rehabilitation.
