Autistic Children: Telepathic Prophets? Exploring “The Telepathy Tapes” with Joe Infranco
04 Nov 2025
02:05:30
What if non-speaking autistic children are unlocking spiritual mysteries through what seems like telepathy, echoing biblical visions of angels, demons, and heavenly realms? In this episode of The Remnant Radio, we sit down with constitutional attorney turned pastor Joe Infranco to unpack the controversial “Telepathy Tapes” podcast and its claims of paranormal communication among autistic individuals.
Joe Infranco, a veteran defender of religious freedoms who litigated landmark Supreme Court cases for churches and now serves as Associate Pastor at Highlands Church in Scottsdale, AZ, brings his courtroom rigor to these extraordinary stories. We’ll explore the Telepathy Tapes—a hit 2024 podcast by Ky Dickens featuring interviews with parents and “experts” claiming nonspeaking autistics demonstrate ESP, past-life memories, and interdimensional contact—through a biblical lens.

Does your personality influence your calling? You know, those personality tests everyone’s taking… can they tell us anything about how God might use us in His kingdom?
This isn’t just about Myers-Briggs letters or Strengthsfinder results. It’s about understanding how God uniquely crafted you AND how He calls you. We’ve seen plenty of ministry books trying to crack this code, but what does Scripture actually say about it?
We’re breaking down: • God’s blueprint for our calling • When natural wiring meets divine purpose • Biblical keys for discerning your calling • Why getting this right changes everything • Real talk about personality tests in the church
We'll dive into the modern psychological application of the Munus Triplex—as seen in the works of theologians like John Frame and Vern Poythress and also the APEST model popularized by Allen Hirsh.
Whether you roll your eyes at personality tests or you’ve got your MBTI in your social media bio, this episode will challenge you to think biblically about God’s calling on your life. Join us as we navigate this intersection of personality and purpose - no personality quiz required!

Truth or Gossip? How to Navigate Allegations in the Church
22 Jan 2025
01:02:37
In some of our recent episodes, we’ve addressed allegations of sin among notable pastors and Christian influencers, sparking an important question: Are we crossing the line into slander or gossip as we address these issues?
We’ve also observed pastors accused of wrongdoing using their sermons and platforms to label those discussing the allegations as agreeing with the "accuser of the brethren" or as gossipers spreading baseless claims.
The Bible, indeed, warns against the very real sins of slander and gossip.
Where is the biblical boundary between speaking truth and engaging in the sins of gossip or slander? How can we discern when we’re approaching these pitfalls? And how do we guard our hearts and tongues against falling into them?
In this episode, we turn to Scripture—our ultimate authority—to guide us in navigating these challenging situations. Together, we’ll explore how to communicate truth in a way that honors God and avoids sin.

Join The Remnant Radio as we sit down with Christian apologist and author Melissa Dougherty to discuss her new book, Happy Lies: How a Movement You (Probably) Never Heard Of Shaped Our Self-Obsessed World. Melissa will trace the roots of our culture's toxic subjectivity and relentless pursuit of happiness back to an influential 19th-century philosophy called New Thought—a movement that shaped much of today’s self-help culture and even infiltrated the church.
As a former follower of New Thought teachings, Melissa brings a unique perspective, blending her personal journey with biblical insights and a touch of wit. We’ll discuss:
The hidden dangers of New Thought philosophy and its modern manifestations.
How the "positive thought" movement hijacks Christian-sounding ideas and burdens believers.
Why our culture's obsession with self and "fake authenticity" undermines true redemption.
How the Christian worldview offers a life-giving alternative to the world's Happy Lies.
This episode promises to be eye-opening, equipping you to recognize and respond to deceptive ideologies with truth and grace. Don’t miss it!

DEMYSTIFYING THE DEMONIC: Understanding Spiritual Warfare with Dr. Clint Arnold
14 Jan 2025
01:01:13
What did first-century believers actually understand about demonic forces and spiritual warfare? Join The Remnant Radio for an illuminating conversation with Clinton E. Arnold, PhD, Dean and Professor of New Testament at Talbot School of Theology, as we delve into the realities of spiritual warfare. In this episode, we’ll explore themes from Dr. Arnold’s book Powers of Darkness: Principalities & Powers in Paul’s Letters, unpacking what the Apostle Paul teaches about demonic forces, supernatural empowerment, and the role of magic in the first century.
Dr. Arnold sheds light on how first-century Greek, Roman, and Jewish beliefs intersect with the biblical worldview, demonstrating that the New Testament portrays principalities and powers as organized, personal beings defeated by Jesus at the cross and ultimately subdued at His return. We'll also discuss the implications for contemporary Christians, including practical guidance for standing firm against spiritual forces of evil.
As both a New Testament scholar and Dean of Talbot School of Theology, Dr. Arnold bridges the gap between academic research and practical application, helping us understand how to engage in spiritual warfare with biblical wisdom and historical insight. Whether you're seeking to better understand the spiritual battle described in Scripture or to engage thoughtfully with the challenges of modern occult practices, this episode is a must-watch for anyone desiring to navigate the unseen with biblical clarity. Join us for this crucial conversation that brings biblical, scholarly insight to spiritual warfare.

We’ll explore critical questions facing churches today: • What’s the biblical case for plural eldership? • How do different models of church governance align with Scripture? • What’s the relationship between pastors, elders, and overseers? • How should churches select, evaluate, and (if necessary) remove elders? • What are the biblical qualifications for eldership? • What’s the distinction between elders and deacons? • Should there be term limits or limits on elder authority?
Whether you’re a church leader wrestling with these questions or a believer wanting to understand biblical church governance, this episode provides practical wisdom rooted in Scripture.
Join us as we examine how to navigate church leadership with biblical faithfulness in an age of evangelical crisis.

The Role of Logic & Reason in Theology: Interview with Dr. Jordan Cooper
26 Nov 2024
01:02:14
Ever wondered how the ideas of Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation developed into the systematic theology we know today? Join us as we welcome Dr. Jordan Cooper to discuss his new book “Prolegomena: A Defense of the Scholastic Method.” Dr. Cooper challenges a common belief that there’s a big gap between what the early reformers taught and how later scholars organized these teachings.
We’ll explore: • How Luther’s ideas connect with later Protestant thinking • Why organized, systematic theology matters for modern Christians • How early Protestant scholars built on Reformation foundations • What this means for the church today • Common myths about Protestant scholarly traditions
Some say there’s a conflict between the heart of the Reformation and the careful, organized way later Protestants studied theology. Dr. Cooper shows us why this isn’t true and how both approaches work together to give us a fuller understanding of our faith. Whether you’re new to church history or a long-time student of theology, this conversation will help you see how careful theological thinking strengthens our understanding of God’s truth. Join us as we bridge the gap between historical Protestant thought and modern-day faith.

Did Prophets Foresee Charlie Kirk's Assassination? Reviewing Kim Clement, Charlie Shamp & More
30 Sep 2025
00:56:17
Did Kim Clement, Charlie Shamp, and Mark Driscoll hear from God about the shocking events surrounding Charlie Kirk's assassination and the spiritual awakening that's followed? Tune into The Remnant Radio as we analyze these prophecies through the lens of Scripture.
In this episode, we're diving into some intriguing prophecies surrounding Charlie's Kirk's death, examining them in light of biblical prophecy and solid Christian theology. We'll look at Kim's 2011 word about an "Esther" figure with "big, beautiful eyes" who steps up to bring healing and restoration to a hurting nation—a description many are now connecting to Erika Kirk's powerful call for forgiveness after her husband's tragic death.
Then there's Charlie Shamp's July 23, 2023, prophecy (shared at Prepare the Way International Church in Phoenix and later on social media), where he talks about a "shot heard around the world" in Arizona that doesn't shut down the church but instead ignites deeper intercession, groaning prayers from the saints, and a fresh outpouring of revival with God's glory coming down like a cloud.
And we'll hear from Mark Driscoll on the spiritual warfare side, with his message pointing out the demonic forces that could be at work and how martyrdom like this might spark real repentance and shine a light on hidden corruption.
As always, we're approaching this with careful scriptural reflection—testing everything against God's Word. Tune in as we call balls and strikes on these prophetic words. Are they balls, strikes, or a mix?

Sozo and Scripture: Is Bethel’s Inner Healing Ministry Truly Biblical?
14 Nov 2024
01:05:51
We tackle a pressing question surrounding Sozo, the inner healing and deliverance ministry developed at Bethel Church: Is it biblical? Drawing from core teachings of Sozo—such as identifying lies, closing “doors” to negative influences, and cultivating a deeper relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—we explore whether these practices align with the Bible’s approach to healing and spiritual growth. Is Sozo a fresh method of “renewing the mind” as the Apostle Paul describes, or does it rely on extra-biblical concepts? We’ll examine the key Sozo techniques like the “Father Ladder” and “Four Doors,” assessing them alongside scriptural principles of confession, repentance, and forgiveness.
Join us for an in-depth conversation as we ask, "Is Sozo a biblically sound path to freedom, or does it stray from the teachings of Scripture?" Whether you’re a skeptic or a supporter, this episode will benefit you as we dig deep into the scriptural basis of Sozo’s approach to healing and sanctification.

Are Emotions Misleading Your Faith? The Dangers of Emotionalism in Christianity
07 Nov 2024
00:56:38
In a culture that often equates emotional intensity with spiritual depth, how can we discern genuine faith and worship from mere emotional hype? This episode dives into the critical difference between emotions—the natural, God-given responses to life—and emotionalism, a worldview that places feelings above truth, sometimes to the detriment of our spiritual lives. We’ll discuss why emotions alone can’t be the foundation for spiritual truth, looking at common misconceptions like confusing a pastor’s passion with anointing or mistaking emotional peace as confirmation of answered prayer.
Drawing insights from theological giants like Jonathan Edwards and exploring biblical counsel on sobriety and self-control, we’ll explore why emotions must be balanced by a sound mind and grounded in Scripture. We also touch on how music shapes our beliefs and how a focus on emotional intensity in worship can impact our understanding of God.
Join us for a thought-provoking conversation that aims to reclaim a balanced view of emotions in faith and worship, encouraging you to embrace both mind and heart in your walk with God.

In an era of doctrinal confusion and church scandals, many believers are questioning the very foundation of Christian faith. Can the Nicene Creed offer clarity and stability?
In this episode, we dive deep into the history and significance of the Nicene Creed, established at the Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D., which has served as a cornerstone of Christian belief for centuries. We’ll unpack its core affirmations about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, exploring how it provides a resilient framework for faith amid modern challenges.
But why was the Council of Nicaea so pivotal? Is there biblical support for such councils, or do they risk adding human error to Scripture’s sufficiency? Together, we’ll examine biblical precedents, such as the early church gatherings in Acts 11 and 15, and look at how councils like Nicaea sought to safeguard Christian doctrine and address critical issues facing the church.
From Constantine’s political influence to Arius's divisive teachings, we’ll trace how the debates and decisions of the Nicene bishops shaped the bedrock of Christian orthodoxy. Join us as we explore the timeless relevance of the Nicene Creed, discovering how it can strengthen and steady us through personal and collective crises of faith.

What’s the deal with chimeras in the Bible? Are they just myths, demon descriptions, or something way stranger? In this episode, we'll dig into the ancient texts, including the Septuagint, to track down satyrs, sirens, dragons, and yes, even the infamous Leviathan. Could these creatures be the result of pre-flood genetic experiments? Were they spawned from divine-human mingling gone wrong? Or are they clever political metaphors from the prophets? We’ll throw out theories, explore ancient Jewish thoughts, and see if these “chimeras” were real beasts or symbolic warnings.

Is Satan real? Does the devil actually exist? Or is satan just a symbol? In this episode, we'll examine the biblical portrayal of the Satan. Is it a title, an actual being, or merely a personification of evil? We’ll examine Scripture, looking at passages that present Satan as a real entity, such as his interaction with Jesus in the wilderness (Matthew 4) and his presence in the story of Job. At the same time, we’ll engage in a thoughtful debate about whether these depictions are simply a metaphor for the force of evil in the world. Is the Satan an actual being or just a symbol of evil? It’s that time of year when there is a heightened focus on ghost tours, paranormal activity, and even seances. So, we have to ask, "Are ghosts real?" What does the Bible say? How do ghosts fit into a Christian worldview?
We’ll discuss famous stories like the ghost of Samuel (1 Samuel 28) and also how Jesus tells His disciples He is not a ghost, saying, "A ghost does not have flesh and bones" in Luke 24:37-39 (inferring there might be ghosts?). Does the Bible consider these ghosts to be spirits of the deceased or demonic manifestations?
We'll also examine whether it's biblical to connect with ghosts or not. (Bet you know the answer!) Tune in for a biblical breakdown of ghosts!

Near-Death Experiences & The Bible: Do They Align?
01 Oct 2024
01:04:10
We’re sitting down with bestselling author John Burke to discuss his fascinating book Imagine Heaven: Near-Death Experiences, God's Promises, and the Exhilarating Future That Awaits You. Burke delves into over 100 stories of near-death experiences (NDEs) and compares them to what the Bible says about Heaven. From questions about our identity and relationships in Heaven to what God is like and what we'll do for eternity, this conversation explores it all.
Burke has spent decades researching the accounts of people from all walks of life—doctors, professors, and even the blind—who’ve had life-altering NDEs, including both heavenly and hellish experiences. While not every detail lines up with Scripture, he argues that the shared themes from thousands of stories paint a vivid and exhilarating picture of the Heaven promised in the Bible. Tune in as we explore how these experiences can shape our view of the afterlife and even impact the way we live today!

Testimonies of how we’ve experienced God can be powerful tools for encouraging others and pointing them to Christ, but they must always remain subordinate to Scripture. So, how should we use our testimonies responsibly? In this episode, we'll explore the role of personal testimony in the Christian faith.
We'll examine the balance between sharing our personal experiences with God and ensuring they don’t become prescriptive or authoritative. Testimonies should inspire and build up others, but they should not be turned into practices or doctrines. We’ll discuss how to keep our testimonies humble, using them to edify rather than establish a "new normal" for the Christian life.
Join us as we better understand the biblical role of testimony and learn how to use our personal stories to encourage without replacing or overshadowing the truth of Scripture.

Recently, at an inter-religious youth meeting, Pope Francis made a statement that has sparked significant debate: "All religions are path[ways] to reach God." He likened religions to different languages, each providing a unique way of approaching the same God. His comments have led to mixed reactions—some defending the Pope's intentions and others accusing him of promoting universalism.
In this episode, we’ll be joined by Pastor Mike Shreve, a former Catholic and evangelist to Catholics with his ministry ToCatholicsWithLove.org. Pastor Shreve argues that the Pope's statements reflect key issues within Catholic teaching today. Together, we’ll explore whether the Pope's words were mistranslated or if they represent a shift toward universalism, and more importantly, why universalism is not supported by Scripture. Don’t miss this in-depth analysis as we seek to uncover the truth behind these controversial remarks.

17 Sep 2024
01:06:20
CERN is celebrating its 70th anniversary on September 29. With that milestone approaching, we wanted to learn more about the organization behind the world’s largest particle accelerator—the Large Hadron Collider. We'll discuss what CERN is and what their scientific pursuits mean. We'll also investigate some of the spiritual theories floating the Internet. For example, is CERN built on the site of Apollo’s ancient temple? Why is there a statue of Shiva in front of the building? Are portals to other dimensions being opened? Even Elon Musk joked about the collider being demonic technology. So what’s the truth?
We’re joined by Dr. Robert (Putty) Putman, who earned a Ph.D. in theoretical quantum mechanics before becoming a pastor and leader in the church. With a unique combination of physics expertise and spiritual insight, Putty will help us better understand this organization and the science behind the the Large Hadron Collider. Cessationism Rewritten: The Lost History of the Reformation
12 Sep 2024
01:13:35
Were the cessationists of the Protestant Reformation the same as those today? Ryan Denton, a Presbyterian minister and church planter, suggests that modern cessationism differs significantly from the cessationism of the Protestant Reformation. Denton argues, through historical examination, that many Protestant Reformers, particularly the Scottish Presbyterians, experienced supernatural power. Leaders such as George Wishart, John Knox, Alexander Peden, and Samuel Rutherford believed in gifts like prophecy, healing, and more. Tune in to discover how the Reformers were more open to the gifts of the Spirit than many in today's cessationist movement.

Do the Gospels Contradict Each Other? Interview with Dr. Michael Licona
10 Sep 2024
01:02:37
We sit down with New Testament scholar Dr. Michael Licona ( @MikeLiconaOfficial ) to discuss his book Jesus, Contradicted: Why the Gospels Tell the Same Story Differently. Dr. Licona tackles one of the most common objections to the reliability of the Gospels: their apparent discrepancies. Instead of forcing strained harmonizations, Licona explains how the Gospels fit within the genre of ancient biography, allowing for narrative flexibility. He compares the Gospel accounts with the works of Plutarch and other ancient sources, showing how common literary techniques of the time account for differences in reporting. We’ll also explore how these differences align with the doctrines of divine inspiration and inerrancy of Scripture. Don't miss this fascinating conversation that brings clarity to the complexities of the Gospel narratives!

In this episode, we tackle a pressing issue that has left many believers disillusioned: scandal fatigue. From the moral failures of once-trusted Christian leaders like Mike Bickle, Robert Morris, Ravi Zacharias, Jerry Falwell Jr., and Mark Driscoll, to the widespread misconduct uncovered within organizations such as Hillsong Church and the Southern Baptist Convention, the Christian community has faced a barrage of betrayals. These scandals cut deep, leaving behind a trail of hurt and a growing sense of apathy and distrust.
As Christians, we understand that leaders are human, fallible, and susceptible to sin. Yet, the repeated revelations of moral failures among those who should know better have left many struggling with a profound sense of betrayal. How do we cope with the emotional toll of these scandals? How can we overcome the fatigue that threatens to erode our faith and commitment?
Join us as we explore these questions, looking to Jesus—who Himself was betrayed by a trusted friend—for guidance. We'll discuss how to heal from church hurt, regain our focus on Christ, and continue being a light in a world overshadowed by the failures of those we once admired. Don’t miss this critical conversation on restoring trust and hope in the wake of scandal.

Heiser Under Review: Exploring Doreen Virtue's Criticisms of Dr. Michael Heiser's Work
29 Aug 2024
01:25:59
The late Dr. Michael Heiser was known for his groundbreaking perspectives on the supernatural realm, including the divine council, the Tower of Babel, Genesis 1:26, Psalm 82, the Book of Enoch, Nephilim, Theosis, demonology, and angelology. As the author of influential works like The Unseen Realm and Reversing Hermon, Heiser helped shape contemporary understanding of these complex topics.
Recently, Doreen Virtue, alongside Hebrew scholar Dr. Wave Nunnally, Systematic Theology Professor Dr. Jordan Cooper, Pastor Gary Gilley, Pastor Samuel Farag, Marcia Montenegro, and Don Veinot, has raised concerns about some of Heiser's interpretations. You can watch their review of Dr. Heiser here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6ih2uBh0Is
In this episode of Remnant Radio, we'll dive deep into their critiques and explore whether these concerns hold weight. What are the implications for those who follow Heiser's teachings? Join us as we critically examine these viewpoints and discuss what this means for our understanding of the supernatural in Scripture.
