Each of us essentially is telling, or creating a story called God. Now that is not to say that God is simply a story. I dont think that at all. I do however think for all of us, God is nuanced by the ideas either presented or imposed upon us, or something we devised based on a variety of influneces… whatever it is… we create a story about God, about ourselves… about how the universe works. That story then essentially plays out in our life 

Alisdiar MacIntrye has said, “before we can figure out who we are, and what we are to do in this world - We must first answer the question, ‘What story or stories am I a part of?’”

Many great spiritual writings, including the Bible, insure there is the presence of angels in our daily life. They talk to us, they lead us, they inform. How we feel, what we see, what we desire… and most of u more than likely not being born to guru’s, sages, and apostles… are taught to identify entirely with matter… and very little if any attention is given to spirit… and lets face it for most of us under the influence of westernized christian influence our spiritual upbringing, if we had it, wasnt abougt connecting to the divine… it was about attending service, moral subjection to moralities sometimes divine, but most often humanly comprised… it was utilitarian… not mystical, not etheral, not meta-physical
