Haylo Puggies and welcome to the Pug Life Show were being a Crazy Pug Lady is not only encouraged but celebrated!

My name is Donna and I created this PODCAST with my Pugs Charles and Rosie because I am on a mission to discover if we really are as crazy as non-Pug Pawrents think we are OR are we just the best Fur-Pawrents in the world.

We invite you to join us as we share the stories of ordinary Puggies and their Pug Life, discuss topics that are important to us, such as why being a Crazy Pug Lady is the best job in the world!, hear the slightly tragic but ultimately wonderful rescue stories that end with a Puggily-ever-after, and meet businesses that want to make our Puggies lives better with their goods and services.

We know that you love your Puggies like a favourite child, that being Pug-crazy is normal and that you want to get to know other Puggies and their Pawrents so you can share in this wonderful world that is the Pug Life.

Now I don't know about you Puggies but I love talking Pug, meeting Pugs and getting to know Pug-Pawrents. I mean who else can will understand my utter devotion to my Pugs better than other "Crazy Pug Ladies or Pawrents".

Interestingly it wasn't until I saw “The Adventures of Milo and Otis” that I knew that I was going to be a Pug-mom …. or Puggie-slave depending on how you look at it.

In this weeks episode I am talking to you about losing Charles at play group, not something I do often .. or should I say ever!

It’s not unusual for me to see Charles in the arms of one of his Aunties getting spoilt with cuddles and kisses when he is not glued to my ankles, but not seeing him anywhere within about 60 seconds flicked the “SOMEONE’S TAKEN MY PUG!” switch and we were on a Pug-hunt like never seen in the park before, and had me asking myself why he ended up where we found him.

I agree with the call to clean up the breeding community/industry by expanding/introducing legislation to enable the relevant authorities the ability to enforce safe breeding practices, and for the readjustment of breeding standards back to healthy levels so that our Pugs can live their best lives with us for as long as possible.

Now you could be excused from assuming that Bronson got his name from the devlishly handsome actor "Charles Bronson", because Bronson is a handsome devil himself, but that’s not actually the case. How Jo came to deciding on Bronson's name is a little outside of the norm even for a Pug Pawrent.

We're also very happy to know that Bronson is still with us after a trip to the beach that almost ended in disaster - I am amazed that Jo was able to drive and cry and talk to her sister who was holding Bronson all at the same time knowing that Bronson could be dying. I still get chills down my spine thinking about what happened and is definitely a tail worth hearing if for no other reason to know what you need to do should this ever happen to your Puggie. The good news is that Bronson is OK and as lively as ever!
