| EP 112 | Asheville is Not OK | 04 Oct 2024 | 00:38:04 | |
Hello from the heart of the apocalypse. I am ok. I am safe and well with my partner Ian in Asheville. We are the lucky ones. I am so grateful. So many are suffering. Struggling. Many are lost. Missing. Hundreds are dead. Much of Appalachia is irreversibly decimated. Water is off throughout the city for the foreseeable future, so we've been without running water for over a week now. (We are on a boil advisory when it finally comes back on. They say it could be 4-6 weeks or longer.) Asheville is not ok. Appalachia and Western North Carolina are not ok. It is worse than you think. It is unspeakable. It is not over. This is just the beginning. We are asking anyone who has a prayer you want to send with us for our beloved Appalachia to please send it to me via email at hello@sinclairfleetwood.com. We are making prayer ties to take to our upcoming gathering to put in the sacred fire. Anything you want to say thank you for, to release, to pray for, anyone who needs to send a message to the Great Mystery, please let us know. If you want to help in the short term, donate to my Venmo @sinclairfleetwood, last 4 digits 5205 There are many great orgs in AVL you can donate to, AND giving money directly to people who live here is awesome. If you know an Appalachian, and have the means, send them some dough. Any amount helps. If you want to help in the long term: Join NEST. Come to a retreat or ceremony. I love you family. I love you Asheville. We will rise again. Love, Sinclair
| EP 111 | Radical Acceptance Without Understanding | 20 Sep 2024 | 00:34:21 | |
The path to freedom starts with acceptance So much of the stuckness and confusion we experience on the path of awakening is because we refuse to accept what is. It's really that simple. Are you stuck? Looking backward at the past and wishing things were different? Do you feel an attachment to a story or belief that you know deep down isn't serving you? Are you in conflict with yourself? With someone you love? Why? What is the thing that's true that you can't swallow? What are you not admitting? Radical acceptance is... Owning your shit and your power Taking responsibility Loving the parts of you that you don't like Shadow work Saying yes to all of it Knowing that whatever arises is here to teach and grow you Looking through the lens of compassion and softness Letting go Allowing In this week's podcast episode I'm sharing about radical acceptance, how to do it, and why you really want to be free from needing it to work out some specific way. Come let go of your need for control. Let go of possible outcomes. Accept and be free. WORK WITH SINCLAIR

| EP 102 | Owning Your Sovereignty | 28 Jun 2024 | 00:47:19 | |
Without a rooted, integrated energy system, it's almost impossible to see movement in the areas of mindset, healthy emotional expression, and deeper connection to Spirit. Calling your power and presence back home give you the resources to stay the course. When you stop being how everyone expects you to be, you have to get comfortable disappointing people. Not being liked. Belonging to yourself instead of fitting in. Maybe people disagree with you. Someone not being pleased with you. And that all being fine and dandy because you are living in a new realm. When you've been going against yourself and pivot to start saying NO to bullshit and YES to yourself, some people might not receive this well. Hence, you become the Villain. High five to all y'all glorious, boundary enforcing, emotionally healthy supervillains doing that spirit life and lifting up everyone around you by taking care of you! Sovereignty is about being self-governing. Self-watering. Self-resourced. The queen or king (or non-binary unicorn) of your own domain. Putting yourself and your needs first. Resourcing yourself and filling your own cup so that you can be the medicine. Being the expert on yourself. Being oriented inward. In tune with your intuition and your own energy. Alchemists don't self-sacrifice. Regrowing the forest of your heart is no fucking joke. You can't be out there leaking energy all over the place, looking for someone to tell you a process of what to do and how to do it. Own your heart wisdom. Your inner knowing. Get support that actually supports you. Act from a place of inspiration rather than fear. Start taking care of yourself like your life depends on it. Because it does. Anoint yourself with the beauty of your own existence. Let its juice and joy ooze out of your mouth and eyes and hands and life like honey. Leave a trail of roses in your wake. Drip nectar from your heart onto everyone you meet. Confidence and embodied power are magnetic. Charismatic. Stop chasing what you want and be yourself. Own your power. Take back your sovereignty. Put out your heart vibes. And watch your life transform. This week's episode is all about living that sovereign empowered life. Learn the practical steps to reclaim your connection to your own wise heart. How to integrate all your parts. And how to look good doing it. WORK WITH SINCLAIR

| EP 011 | Minimum Effective Dose, Microdosing, and Ego Death | 29 Mar 2021 | 01:04:34 | |
Have you ever wondered "How much plant medicine should I take?" Trying to figure out the right amount of medicine to take to have the experience you are seeking can be overwhelming and daunting. But don't worry, there is actually a smart, safe, and effective method you can use to manage your dose every time you sit with psychedelics. This week on The Psychedelic Integration Podcast we're sharing our tried and true strategy, experience, and insights around always taking the Minimum Effective Dose, and finding your own Middle Way when healing with psychedelics. Keep in mind that our work with plant medicines and psychedelics is for the purpose of healing and growth, and this talk is based on our personal and professional experiences in this context. The Minimum Effective Dose strategy means choosing to take the smallest amount of medicine needed to get the desired results, experience, or effect. There is a spectrum of methods and advice around how to work with psychedelics, from Microdosing to the Heroic Dose or Ego Death Dose, and everything in between. It can help to understand the wisdom and power of the Minimum Effective Dose by learning about the different types of psychedelic experiences, why and how they work, what they can deliver, and why you might want to dip your toes into the kiddie pool vs. diving into the abyss when it comes to psychedelics. Join us for a fun conversation about finding your own Middle Way with psychedelics, and learn some questions to ask yourself when preparing to take your next journey. Also, stay until the end to hear a serendipitous and magical story about how our Ayahuasca and San Pedro plant medicine retreat found its home on the beach of Olón, Ecuador. | EP 010 | Creating Space to Feel Your Feelings | 22 Mar 2021 | 00:46:33
Today we're talking about Creating Space to Feel Your Feelings. We know, this sounds like a drag, right? If you're like us, you are probably professional avoiders of pain, and have run the gamut of avoidance rather than actually deeply engaging in your feelings and emotions. This is a problem, because over time, when we become conditioned to divert, avoid, and repress our feelings, we start to develop energetic blocks, emotional and mental health issues, and even serious physical illnesses. On this week's episode of The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, we're having a conversation about all the ways we try to get out of engaging with our feelings, and how some of these coping mechanisms can really harm us over time. We'll also share about how to move through your feelings with grace and empowerment, why throwing tantrums as an adult is a good thing, and discuss how ceremony with plant medicines teaches us presence and surrender to our feelings, allowing us to make space for the things we truly want in life. And of course how healing with psychedelics and plant medicines help us feel our feelings and connect to our hearts, and how they teach us to carry what we experience in ceremony into our daily lives. Mystical Heart Collective helps people heal with psychedelics through education, integration, retreats, and the power of community. | EP 009 | The Wounded Healer | 16 Mar 2021 | 00:48:29
Do you identify as an empath or wounded healer or know someone who does? This week on The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, we're exploring the concept of The Wounded Healer, and all the nuances of what it can look like when you're called to be in service to others as someone who has overcome your own trauma or wounding. Wounded healers are often drawn to professions of guidance such as coaching, teaching, therapy, spiritual guidance, facilitation, energy and body work, and other healing careers where they provide support to others. We discuss how healing something within yourself actually makes you the best person to be in a role of service to others on a path of personal growth, and we'll talk about how conditionally loving and helping someone can sometimes be more harmful than good. We also get into how the shadow side of The Wounded Healer can really derail our intentions, and how psychedelics give us guidance and vision for making it across the bridge of change and growth to reside in our own vision for our lives. Mystical Heart Collective helps people heal with psychedelics through education, integration, retreats, and the power of community. | EP 008 | Can Psychedelics Help Treat Anxiety? | 01 Mar 2021 | 00:51:20
The Mayo Clinic defines anxiety as "Intense, excessive, and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations." Anxiety disorders are the most common mental disorders in the U.S., affecting 40 million adults in the United States age 18 and older, or 18.1% of the population every year. Through the lens of Western medicine, anxiety is seen one of many mental health disorders that are becoming more prevalent and less treatable through that same system. In short, we are becoming more and more anxious, phobic, and full of fear and panic, and there is less and less that modern medicine seems to be able to do about it. Enter plant medicines! Psychedelics have shown to be a promising, effective, rapid (and scientifically proven) treatment for anxiety disorders. On this episode of The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, we're diving into how anxiety harms us, and how psychedelics can help treat anxiety. And we'll talk about how they do this by actually getting to our root causes of anxiety, helping us find understanding, insight, and providing tools to help us forge a path of empowerment, relief, and self-healing. Learn about what you need to know to get prepared to work with psychedelics to heal anxiety, how to seek help, and understand why it's important to have an integration plan to support you throughout your journey.

| EP 005 | WTF Is Spiritual Alchemy?!? | 06 Feb 2021 | 00:44:35 | |
We're getting a little esoteric on this week's episode of The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, aiming to challenge some of the limiting narratives we see around psychedelics and what they actually do for us, as well as to inspire some critical thinking and understanding of what psychedelic integration looks like in practice. So, WTF is spiritual alchemy? Join us for a conversation about the historical origins of alchemy and where this concept comes from, all the way into our modern day thinking where we run into all kinds of myths and misconceptions around the actual methods of transforming darkness into light. What does that actually look like in daily life, and how can psychedelics help awaken us to our own magical powers of creation? We'll talk about what being a real life spiritual alchemist really looks like, and we'll give you some guidance on how to turn on the lights in your own psychedelic healing journey.
| EP 004 | Releasing Fear with Psychedelics | 01 Feb 2021 | 00:39:43 | |
On this week’s episode of The Psychedelic Integration Podcast we’re having a conversation about releasing fear with psychedelics. We often half-joke about how psychedelics literally help us escape from The Matrix, but the truth is that we live in a society where fear, anxiety, worry, and stress are manufactured to keep us divided and disempowered. Our modern society has us constantly plugged into news, entertainment, and social media that hijacks our vibration with a constant feed of “Be Afraid. Don’t Trust People Different Than You. There’s Something Wrong with You. Buy This to Feel Better.” Whether we are conscious of it or not, consuming news and media that makes us feel bad about ourselves and the world creates illness in our bodies and minds, and distracts us from all the possibility, opportunity, and magic we could have in our lives instead.
| EP 003 | How Intention Unlocks the Power of Psychedelics | 25 Jan 2021 | 00:44:27 | |
This week on The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, we're having a conversation about the power of intention to unlock psychedelics and level up our experiences. So many of us find our way to psychedelics through recreational use, and often having fun is the gateway to discovering the magical powers of these master teachers. When we understand we have the power (through intention) to build a relationship with the spirits of the medicines, rather than just treating the experience as a thing that happens to us outside of our control, well, it's kind of a game changer. We define and discuss intention, talk about why recreational use unfairly gets a bad rap, and share our personal experiences of transitioning from less mindful recreational use to ceremonial use, and what we've learned along the way. We'll also talk about how to find your intention, shift your mindset, and get the most out of your growing understanding of how psychedelics can heal and help you in your daily life. It's ok and good to have fun and enjoy yourself, even when you're healing! Adding intention into the mix, even if that intention is to enjoy yourself, connect with others, and have fun, helps create a conversation with the medicines, allowing an opening to expanding our consciousness and awareness, and leading to personal growth and healing.
| EP 002 | Transforming Anger with Psychedelics | 18 Jan 2021 | 00:29:45 | |
In this week's podcast, we dive into anger and the different ways it manifests and expresses itself in our lives. We speak to our own personal experiences of healing anger and rage through psychedelics, and we offer some practical things you can do to start getting a handle on anger through awareness, attention, and healthy coping mechanisms. We will also talk about what to do when you need to tell someone you're angry with them, what to express and when, and how to do it with grace and balance. It is possible to express and process anger in a way that feels good and healthy! Whether we are prone to repression or explosion, anger is actually not our enemy. It's our ally. Anger is the messenger with a dire warning that SOMETHING NEEDS TO CHANGE. So how do we move from rageaholic to rational, clear, calm expressions of anger? Psychedelics have so much to teach us about transforming anger and how we react and respond to it. RESOURCES: Sinclair Fleetwood's Website
| EP 101 | Reclaiming Prayer and Connection to Spirit | 21 Jun 2024 | 00:52:06 | |
Someone asked me a fantastic question this week that I liked so much I made a podcast about it. "How do I connect and build a relationship to Spirit?" I currently have a freewheeling, joyful, strong connection to Source, Goddess, All That Is -- it might look effortless from the outside. But the truth is, I spent most of my life being an angry, drunk atheist, not having any connection to God, being completely lost out in the world without the slightest idea of how any of this worked. I did not believe in it. I didn't want to believe in it. This week's episode is about reclaiming prayer and connection to Spirit. To start to change your mindset and your belief system so that you can create something more beautiful and beneficial instead. You have agency and sovereignty to choose your own reality. What do you want it to be? Learn how to take the easy road back to prayer and spirituality and make it exactly what you need so it supports you fully.

| EP 097 | 10 Questions to Ask Before Working with Psychedelics | 17 May 2024 | 00:53:28 | |
So you’re thinking about trying psychedelics? Are psychedelics right for you? How do you know? It can be daunting to try to sift through all the information, hype, and stories and truly understand whether or not healing with sacred medicines is something you should invest in. Psychedelics and entheogens are starting to make a comeback, as science and medicine strive to catch up to what our ancestors have known for thousands of years. And there is still a large gap in education, awareness, and understanding of who should use these medicines, what they can do, why you might want to give it a go, and what you need to do to get really ready. Psychoactive plants and compounds like ayahuasca, San Pedro, psilocybin, and LSD, DMT, Bufo (5-meoDMT) (just to name a few) can offer profound, transformational experiences and healing for everything from depression to addiction, but it can feel like there’s a lot of mystery around going from just being curious to taking the leap, finding a guide, or sitting in a ceremony, whatever that looks like for you. Psychedelics call to us for different reasons. Some of us want to expand our consciousness and deepen our connection to Spirit, or make changes in our own lives to be better stewards of our world and our time in it. Others are seeking healing for physical diseases, emotional trauma, and mental health issues like depression, anxiety, or PTSD. And others find psychedelics through recreational means and often have accidental breakthroughs with life altering results. The main thing to keep in mind is that people often come to psychedelics looking for a miracle or an overnight cure. I say this all the time, but rarely does it work like that. Working with psychedelics is a long process that takes constant reflection, shadow work, determination, and resilience to get the most out of your journeys. It can open up a process that may last the rest of your life. It’s that powerful, and knowing how much work you may need to do after the fact is something that should be considered before beginning the process. WORK WITH SINCLAIR

She is the founder of Bright Ages, an entheogenic coaching practice focused on serving millennials who are feeling depressed, anxious, lonely, or “unhappy without reason.” She combines integrative and holistic medicine in her offerings. In college, after suffering the sudden loss of her father at the age of 18, she fell into a deep depression. Only a few years later, she lost her dear cousin to an overdose. Her anxiety and depression continued to worsen - over a ten year period she struggled with debilitating mental illness, self harm, addiction, and suicidal ideation. She worked with many different providers and practitioners over the years but nothing stuck - therapy, medication, sobriety, and everything in between. As she was approaching the end of her rope she felt the call to work with Ayahuasca. Since that experience, her life has undergone a complete transformation. Accompanied by the grace and support of a loving community, she has been able to transition from surviving to thriving. Her purpose is to share this experience with anyone who is ready and willing. Healing is possible. She is actively involved with organizations such as the Isha Foundation, Truth is One, and devotion to Her Holiness Amma Sri Karunamayi. | EP 093 | The Heroic Act of Letting Go | 18 Apr 2024 | 00:44:14
Are you one of those "over my cold, dead body" kind of people? Do you keep hang around things and people that don't serve you like milk in your fridge that went out of date with the Clinton administration? Do you find yourself languishing in relationships or situations long past their best? Are you kind of sad when things have to end and therefore grasp onto them so tight that maybe it just doesn't have to be true? On this week's episode of The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, we're going on a journey of self-discovery centered around the heroic act of letting go. Learn about why you hold on—the fear of the unknown, uncertainty, pain, and transition and how these fears often manifest as clinging to the familiar. Sometimes so tightly that it's hindering your growth and preventing you from fully embracing life's unfolding mysteries. Holding on is protective in nature and it's important to approach our clinging with empathy for the ways we seek security when everything falls apart. It's okay to acknowledge your holding patterns and explore the narratives that have shaped your relationships, both with others and with yourself. Today we'll lean into the profound wisdom that lies in releasing your grip on attachment, inviting you to let go with grace and hold on lightly. When you begin to allow, you can start trusting in the flow of life's unfolding journey. Refresh yourself around how radical acceptance in the present moment encourages you to embrace all of your feelings, allowing them to move through you with compassion and understanding. Let's co-create a space of deep introspection and self-reflection. Claim the beauty in owning your truth and finding trust and authenticity, no matter what changes come. It's time to clean your fucking house an clear away the clutter of outdated beliefs so that you can step into a newfound sense of sovereignty, capacity, and joy.
| EP 110 | Everything is Happening For You, Not To You | 13 Sep 2024 | 00:33:22 | |
Anything is possible if you believe it. This is why plant medicine is so effective at healing and transforming your life. Because it gives you the extraordinary experience of a new way of being, thinking, feeling, and understanding yourself and your place in the world. What if everything you think you know is changeable? What if the past is transformable? What if your old mindset and belief system is like the skin of a snake and it's your job as a spiritual seeker on a mission to evolve with psychedelics to shed that skin? To slither yourself out of a container that is too tight and restrictive to hold you in your full authentic expression. If you want real, tangible change to happen in your life, you have to be willing to let go of the old parts of you that believe it's not possible. You have to go WAY THE FUCK OUTSIDE YOUR COMFORT ZONE. You have to be willing to let go of the habits and thought patterns and beliefs that are making you miserable. In this week's podcast episode I'll dive into the critical mindset shift that is the gateway to living a life full of opportunity and possibility instead of staying stuck in a reality that isn't what you want. | EP 091 | Are You Ready for Plant Medicine? | 04 Apr 2024 | 00:51:01
In this episode of The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, we dive into the essence of preparation for plant medicine journeys. Are you ready for plant medicine? How do you know? What does it mean to establish readiness? And when do you know? We'll explore the transformative potential of psychedelics, and get clarity on the importance of being truly ready for the experience. Ceremony and intention are gifts that we have long been disconnected from in our modern life. It's time to start questioning hustle culture, urgency, overwhelm, and how that interferes with walking a deliberate path of presence and consciousness. If we are distracted and attached to specific outcomes, it makes it nearly impossible to actually receive the teachings of the ancient consciousness of plants. Learn about the role of sacred reciprocity and humility in approaching medicine work. To do this work in a way that is beneficial there is a necessity of managing expectations, cultivating patience, and embracing the journey as it unfolds. Trusting the process and letting go of attachment to outcomes emerge as central themes, alongside the importance of self-care and introspection. Join me as we navigate the sometimes unfamiliar terrain of measuring your readiness, recognizing it as a pivotal factor in ensuring meaningful and transformative psychedelic experiences.
| EP 090 | Sound, Patience, and Womanhood with Christiana Schelfout | 29 Mar 2024 | 01:06:33 | |
Christiana Schelfout is a healing artist raised between Portugal and New York by an Irish American mother and a German father. She lived firstly in the wild, windswept Algarve, and then in the lush Long Island suburbs. Communion with nature and self-expression through song, dance, art, and theater were her basis for self-regulation and expansion. At 20, a call for healing brought her to the study and practice of classical yoga and tantra. In traveling to the origins of global spiritual traditions and connecting with her ancestry, she was awakened to the world of spiritual herbalism and ceremony. These traditions led her down a path of inquiry into the healing potential of the descension process, devotion to the body, earth and mother. This was supported by studying matriarchal histories, women’s health and birth. Today, through the support of her community, she shares the experience of soul directed living, healing and wellbeing. Christiana carries the embodied experience of recovering from mental and physical illness. In 2018, after five years of community based offerings, she spent four years creating and then leading the yoga and retreat programs at Shou Sugi Ban House, a multidimensional wellness center in New York. Over a decade of student-ship and work experience in holistic healing and curation support the vision of Animate Healing. On this week's show, Christiana and I meander through the nuances of presence found through sound healing, cultivating patience, and exploring the mystery of womanhood, moon blood, how bone broth is Nature's nourishing elixir, and more. Christiana is such a gift to my life and I'm so grateful to share her heart wisdom with you. | EP 089 | Healing the Abandonment Wound | 21 Mar 2024 | 01:06:19
Daddy issues anyone? This week I'm peeling back the layers of the heart scars that stick with us from moments of feeling abandoned, neglected, or flat-out rejected. From the emotional gut punches to the mind games, we'll dive into why this core wound creates such a long lasting echo, often becoming one of the most defining aspects of our entire lives. I share some examples from my own abandonment drama with my brilliant and troubled father, showing how those early episodes shape our beliefs and behaviors well into adulthood. Learn how these abandonment wounds sneak their way into every part of our behavior and personality, turning some of us into people-pleasing perfectionists on a quest for that elusive gold star of external validation. Oh, and did I mention the joyride of unworthiness and never feeling quite good enough? Yeah, we're shining a light on that too, seeing how it seeps into our relationships and attachment styles, keeping that abandonment hamster wheel spinning. But not to fear, there's hope in the form of the healing salve of radical self-acceptance. Taking a hard look in the mirror, and doling out forgiveness like Halloween candy. By the end of this show, you'll be ready to tackle your abandonment demons head-on, transforming not just your own life but also spreading that love and healing to everyone around you.

In today's episode of The Psychedelic Integration Podcast, I'm diving headfirst into the concept of "Fuck Around and Find Out" (FAFO). I'll explore what it truly means to embrace this mantra, giving yourself permission to honor your impulses and being willing to fail in the pursuit of authenticity and following your heart mission. Today I'm sharing my own journey with FAFO moments, including the decision to change the name of this show, only to ultimately decide to return to its original title after trying it on a while. I'll discuss the importance of being outcome independent and allowing yourself the flexibility to do things that scare you, and share how to give way less fucks as you navigate the twists and turns of your own spiritual path. Open to the liberating notion that no matter what happens, you're going to be okay. That you can embrace uncertainty, stretch your boundaries, and acknowledge the privilege that comes with the ability to FAFO. | EP 084 | The Sacred Witness | 16 Feb 2024 | 00:42:34
This week we're exploring the concept of The Sacred Witness. The Observer. The nonjudgmental higher self that lives deep in the center of each of us. It's the presence in us, the calm, wise, sage part of us who's just watching all this. Abraham Hicks calls it your Inner Being. You might hear it called your Highest Self. It's the sacred, holy, all-knowing, almighty, All-That-Is part of you. The part that can see everything, that knows everything, and that is free from attachment, worry, or blame. The sacred witness is like having your own mentor observing all that unfolds within and around you. Nudging you to detach from ego and identify with your higher consciousness. In this episode, you'll learn about all the ways the sacred witness guides us through life's twists and turns. It's about being present, accepting, and lovingly observing yourself without judgment. Through this practice, we navigate the murky waters of change, integrating old patterns with newfound wisdom. So, if you're seeking spiritual growth, hop on board the sacred witness train—it's a gentle, yet profound journey toward wholeness and authenticity.

Addiction is a monster. It steals your money. Your time. Your dignity. Your health. Your love. Your presence. It is a false friend that leaves you in a perpetual state of disconnection, suffering, and despair. I believe addiction is one of the most difficult challenges to heal in the human experience. It ravages everything in its wake, and our current model of support isn't working. So many people are finding their way to plant medicine and psychedelics in desperation to be liberated from the pain of addiction. In this episode, I'm sharing vulnerable scenes from my personal journey of soul liberation from a life of addiction and self-destruction to finding healing, self-love, and purpose. The truth about overcoming addiction is that it's only the first step in repairing your relationship to Spirit and with yourself. You are the only one who can decide you've had enough. But what if it was also your teacher? Your healer? Addiction is healable. It is overcomeable. It's your own personal portal into a deep spiritual transformation that will show you your purpose and give your life new meaning. Come with me on a journey of hope and healing as we walk through the valley of the shadow with addiction and find our way back to the light. Need support on your journey out of the dark? | EP 078 | Ayni: Sacred Reciprocity | 01 Dec 2023 | 00:45:25
I learned about the beautiful and simple principle of Ayni: sacred reciprocity while I lived in Ecuador. Ayni is a Quechua word and concept that is the backbone of the worldview in their ancestral culture. The Quechua people are the descendants of the Inca people who are native to Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina. In the teaching of ayni, they live in a commitment of mutualism that is beneficial to all the beings and the Earth itself. You can always feel safe to give because that energy will always be returned to you. This is much different than the transactional way we live in modern society. In this episode, I explore the concept of sacred reciprocity, how it is our duty and gift of giving back to do integration work, and how this principle can reach into every area of your life. | EP 075 | Hope for Dark Times | 09 Nov 2023 | 00:37:12
Unless you've been living under a rock, you might have noticed that there is a lot of heavy and hard shit going on in the world at the moment. When the foundation of the system begins to crack and fail, it can cause anxiety and panic. The thing is, in order for the new way of life to take root, the old one has to crumble away. Dying empires don't typically make their final exit without a lot of brutal struggle. This process can be long and slow, and often big avalanches of change come fast and hard. It may feel like everything is a dumpster fire and there's nothing you can do about it. You may feel lost or afraid or even paralyzed, afraid to move or speak out. In this episode, I'm offering hope for dark times. A heartfelt acknowledgement of the pain and suffering that's occurring in Gaza, and a simple path to finding that ray of light in your own heart so that you can keep going. Put your mask on first, so that you can be a lightbearer in a dark world.
| EP 074 | Returning to Medicines of the Earth with Stacey Constante, RN | 02 Nov 2023 | 00:59:28 | |
Stacey M. Constante is Ecuadorian, first generation born in the U.S. She is a women’s holistic hormone practitioner, nutritionist, herbalist, registered nurse, and mother. She has been following the medicine path through the Americas for the last six years. Along the way she has been slowly merging the teachings of allopathic and ancestral medicine. Stacey began her career as an ER nurse. While working at different hospitals, she noticed the gaps in modern medicine. As she grew her relationship with plant medicine, she could no longer look away from the broken system we have been led to believe in. She felt she was sending patients through a revolving door with more questions than when they arrived. She began to question why nutrition, herbs, mental health, and other ancient healing modalities were not being spoken of. It was medication after medication, a quick fix, but never mentioning lifestyle changes or getting to the root of the problem. Having suffered with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and substance abuse, Stacey also developed late-stage endometriosis at age 25. She was told she may not be able to have children and that this was a chronic condition she simply had to live with. She turned towards acupuncture, nutrition, and herbs. She sat with sacred plant medicines in ceremony settings from North America to South America. Since then, she has spent her time learning about medicinal herbs and plant knowledge from many indigenous keepers and from the plants themselves. The frustration she felt immersed in allopathic medicine inspired her to walk a different path. She believes one of the most empowering moments is when we discover we have the ability to heal ourselves. We just need to provide our being the necessary tools it needs to do so. | EP 073 | Saying No to Competition and Comparison | 13 Oct 2023 | 00:53:55
Does it feel like EVERYTHING is a contest? The vibe of scarcity, not enoughness, and needing to win at all costs is pervasive in our culture. But where did it come from? Why is everything a competition? It actually doesn't have to be this way. Saying NO to competition and comparison is a deep deprogramming that you can start doing right now in your own life. In order to have a better world, we have to believe that it's possible. Many people on the spiritual path are waking up to the understanding that not only does competition not resonate, it's harmful and feels shitty and we don't need it. Psychedelics are here to show us the path to a new understanding. In this episode, learn how competition and comparison run in the background of our society and why it's each of our responsibility to invite the vibration of collaboration, co-creation, and belonging into our lives instead. | EP 072 | Nurturing the Divine Feminine with Rea Beaubien, Medicine Woman | 06 Oct 2023 | 01:10:33
Rea Beaubien is a medicine woman, ceremonialist, healer, and artist. For more than 20 years she has been a mother, spiritual seeker, and facilitator of ancient rituals in the mountains of Crestone, Colorado. She shares sacred awareness teachings locally and globally, inspiring others to transform. This work brings forth positive and lasting changes contributing to a brighter world. Rea’s mission is rekindling our connection to and nurturing the Divine Feminine as was spoken of in prophecies. She believes that in this shared renaissance we are coaxed to return to who we really are. To play, listen, express, believe, get dirty, surrender – and most of all – to feel. As a result of visions and teachings received under lineages of North America, Rea created Heart of Ma, a global community providing sacred plant medicine retreats for more that 20 years. Heart of Ma offers the opportunity to safely transform, ground, and heal. In this episode, Rea boldly shares about the toll the medicine path can take on the health and wellness of facilitators and space holders, her difficult decision to slow down and take a break, and her thoughts about the fast-paced, often reckless psychedelic revolution that is happening now. | EP 070 | Plant Dietas and The Iboga Experience with Leo van Veenendaal | 22 Sep 2023 | 01:07:50
Leo van Veenendaal is an Australian environmental engineer, adventurer, author, and apprentice of plant medicines. Early in his adult life he suffered from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and treatment resistant depression. At a point of desperation, he began working with indigenous plant medicines in 2016 to heal IBS, his gut, and his brain. It worked. In 2018 Leo was initiated into Fang Dissumba Bwiti at Ebando in Gabon where he took part in an iboga ceremony. He has continued working with and learning about plant medicines since, moving to South America in 2020 to continue his studies. Leo is passionate about helping ensure plant medicine's thriving, longevity, respectful use and conservation. His first book "The Iboga Experience" was released in February 2023. His second book "Mind Engineering" will be released in late 2024. When I think of Leo, I think of a big hearted dude who loves learning from and conventing with plants in the jungle. I think of deep conversation with a thoughtful and open hearted man. And of a spirit brother who has a magical connection with sacred tobacco and mapacho. Leo is a humble soul traveler who has dedicated his life to learning about the power of plants in a respectful way. In this episode, he shares about how he came to meet plant medicines, his plant companions in the jungle, and offers solid guidance about iboga, one of the most powerful psychoactive plants in the world.
