As a former VA and graphic designer, Michelle knows all too well the struggle when it comes to pricing and charging hourly rates. An hourly rate can create resentment on both sides - for the business owner and the customer - we talked about why this is, and how to price more positively and profitably.
Michelle, the stationery obsessed founder of Laptops and Lattes. Secretly she is a hot chocolate drinker, but I know you won't hold that against her.
As a solopreneur, working from home. One thing she misses about working in an office with other humans is the camaraderie. And gathering around the boardroom table with a cuppa and biccies to brainstorm ideas for the next project. Being a mum to small kids, availability was always an issue when it came to attending networking events. So Laptops and Lattes was my answer to both of those issues.
