Episode 275 - Introducing you to ComplicatedCo, a new organic brand01 Oct 202600:27:45
In this weeks episode I'm joined by Jodie, owner of the lovely organic brand Complicated Co.

Life rarely slows down... From early starts and full diaries to constant notifications, shifting priorities, and everything in between, real life is layered, demanding, and often messy.Complicated Co. exists for that reality.

Complicated Co is a design of clothing around how life feels, not how it looks. Instead of chasing trends or seasons, our collections are organised by state, the mental and emotional places we all move through.

Because what you need to wear on an overstimulated day isn’t the same as what you reach for when you need grounding, space, or momentum.

Episode 270 - How To Build An Autumn Wardrobe Without Starting Again20 Aug 202600:13:22
How To Build An Autumn Wardrobe Without Starting Again

Autumn doesn't mean you need a whole new wardrobe.

In fact, before you head to the shops and start buying knitwear, boots and all the new-season colours, I want you to look at what you already own.

In this episode, we're talking about how to transition your existing wardrobe into autumn, identify what's actually missing and shop more strategically.

In this episode, we'll cover:

🍂 Why you shouldn't pack away all your summer clothes just yet

🍂 How to transition your favourite summer pieces into autumn

🍂 The simple layering tricks that instantly update an outfit

🍂 How to introduce autumn colours without changing your entire wardrobe

🍂 Why you should identify your gaps before you go shopping

🍂 How to create easy autumn outfit formulas that make getting dressed simpler

Your Style Strategy for this week

Before you buy anything new, choose five pieces you already own and love.

Then see how many autumn outfits you can create around them.

If you're missing something, add it to a shopping list, but don't buy it just because it's new season.

Ask yourself:

“Will this work with at least three things I already own?”

Because building a great autumn wardrobe isn't about starting again. It's about making more of what you already have

Episode 269 - The 5 Questions To Ask Before You Buy Anything New13 Aug 202600:16:01
The 5 Questions To Ask Before You Buy Anything New

Welcome back to The Style Strategy Series!

Before you buy anything new for your wardrobe, stop and ask yourself five simple questions.

Because the goal isn't to buy more clothes, it's to make better choices about what actually deserves a place in your wardrobe.

In this episode, I’m sharing the five questions I use with my clients to help them shop with more confidence, avoid impulse purchases and create a wardrobe that works for their real life.

The 5 questions to ask before you buy:

1. Do I actually love it?

2. What am I going to wear it with?

3. Does it fit my real life?

4. Do I already own something similar?

5. If I don’t buy it, will I regret it?

Next time you're tempted by a new purchase, run it through these five questions before reaching for your purse.

Because the best wardrobes aren't built by buying more. They're built by making intentional choices.

Your Style Strategy challenge

The next time you go shopping, online or in store, don't buy anything until you've answered all five questions.

You might be surprised by how many things you decide you don't actually need.

Episode 268 - Why Buying More Clothes Isn't Solving Your Wardrobe Problem06 Aug 202600:11:02

Why Buying More Clothes Isn’t Solving Your Wardrobe Problem

Welcome to The Style Strategy Series, a special August series where I’m sharing the simple strategies I use with my clients to help them create wardrobes that work for their lifestyle.

Have you ever stood in front of a wardrobe full of clothes and thought:

"I have nothing to wear."

You’re not alone.

In this episode, I’m sharing why buying more clothes rarely solves the problem and why a wardrobe full of individual pieces doesn’t always create a wardrobe full of outfits.

We’ll explore:

✨ Why your wardrobe might feel overwhelming

✨ The difference between owning clothes and creating outfits

✨ How to shop with more intention

✨ The questions to ask before buying something new

Because great style isn’t about having more clothes.

It’s about having a strategy.

Your Style Strategy Challenge:

Choose one item already in your wardrobe and create three different outfits with it.

Ask yourself: “How many ways can I wear this?”

Episode 251 - Mel Robbins Talks About How Clothes Make You Feel, Let’s Go Deeper08 Apr 202600:24:20

You may have heard the recent conversation with Mel Robbins and stylist Erin Walsh about how what you wear impacts how you feel.

And they’re absolutely right.

But in this episode, I’m taking that conversation one step further.

Because whilst feeling good in your clothes matters… it’s not where the transformation starts, it’s where it ends.

If you’ve ever stood in front of a full wardrobe and still felt like you have nothing to wear…

If your clothes don’t quite reflect who you are anymore Or if getting dressed feels harder than it should…

In This Episode, I Cover:
  • Why your clothes are always communicating, before you even speak
  • How your wardrobe impacts not just how you feel, but how you’re perceived
  • The emotional connection to clothing (and why it’s completely normal to feel disconnected from your wardrobe)
  • Why “just wear what feels good” isn’t a strategy and what to do instead
  • The real reason your wardrobe feels overwhelming (and how to fix it)
  • How to create a wardrobe that brings clarity, ease, and confidence every single day

Key Takeaway

Feeling good in your clothes doesn’t happen by chance.

It comes from having a wardrobe that is built with intention, aligned to your life, and designed to support you.

Because when your wardrobe is working for you…

You stop second-guessing what to wear and start focusing on where you’re going.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

If you’re ready for a wardrobe that feels aligned, effortless, and completely you, you can:

  • Book a personal styling session
  • Or send me a message with the word STYLE to start the conversation

Episode 249 - What Stylish Women Do Differently When Seasons Feel Awkward26 Mar 202600:14:27

When the seasons shift, your wardrobe can suddenly feel confusing.

It’s not quite winter, not quite spring… and getting dressed starts to feel harder than it should.

In this episode, I’m sharing how stylish women approach these in-between moments differently, without rushing out to buy new clothes or completely overhauling their wardrobe. Because true style isn’t about constant change, It’s about making the right adjustments at the right time.

✨ What You’ll Learn in This Episode:

  • The simple colour shift that instantly refreshes your look
  • How to layer strategically so your outfits feel intentional, not bulky
  • Why silhouette and proportion matter more than you think during seasonal transitions
  • The power of one standout detail to elevate your entire outfit

Episode 240 - Colour, Confidence & Presence22 Jan 202600:34:35

In this weeks episode I'm chatting to my lovely friend Peter Kane, aka, Peter the Personal Stylist.

I asked Peter the following questions;

1.What impact does colour have on our mood, confidence and energy?

2.Many women default to black, navy or grey for work. Why do you think that is and what are we missing out on when we avoid colour?

3.For someone who loves colour but worries about looking ‘too much’, how can they wear multiple colours in a way that still feels polished and professional?

4.How does understanding your personal colouring change the way you shop, dress and get ready day-to-day?

Peter answered this so well to help you become confident with colour

Episode 239 - An edit, not an overhaul.15 Jan 202600:26:56

In this week's episode I'm chatting to Jess Harvey, founder of the Female Mentoring Alliance and co-host of the 'Brand Edit' Retreat day.

We discuss;

  • What does the phrase ‘personal brand’ actually mean to you, and why is it so critical right now?
  • In Jess's experience, what are the biggest blocks women face when trying to show up with confidence and authenticity in their professional and personal lives?
  • Our event, The Brand Edit, is all about refinement rather than reinvention, Jess shares what that shift from changing to editing can unlock in someone’s career and confidence
  • What are the three outcomes or shifts we want our attendees to walk away with after a day at The Brand Edit?”
  • For someone who’s listening and thinking ‘I know I need support but I’m not sure if an in-person experience is right for me’, how we describe the impact of gathering in person, intentionally, to work on your personal brand.

Episode 238 - A Positive Reset for Your Wardrobe This New Year08 Jan 202600:17:59

As we start a new year, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by our wardrobe, sales everywhere, trends shouting at us, and that familiar feeling of having “nothing to wear.”

This episode is about pressing pause and approaching your wardrobe with positivity, clarity and ease.

Rather than focusing on what you don’t have, I’m sharing five simple ways to feel good about what’s already in your wardrobe, how to shop without pressure, and how to move forward confidently, without the stress.

In this episode, we cover:

1. Start with appreciation, not criticism

Your wardrobe reflects different seasons of your life. Instead of judging it, begin by appreciating what’s served you well and what still makes you feel confident.

2. Focus on what already works

The outfits you reach for most are giving you valuable clues about your personal style. When you understand what works, everything becomes easier.

3. The shops are full, so there’s no rush

There’s no need to panic-buy or keep up with every trend. Shopping with clarity always feels better than shopping with pressure.

4. Create calm with simple outfit formulas

Positivity comes from reducing decisions. Go-to outfits and reliable combinations bring ease and confidence to everyday dressing.

5. Dress for the woman you are now

Your wardrobe should support your current lifestyle, confidence and priorities, not who you used to be.

Final thought

A positive wardrobe reset doesn’t mean starting again.

It means reconnecting with who you are now and creating clarity, confidence and ease through what you wear.

If your wardrobe feels overwhelming, that’s often a sign you’ve evolved and it may simply need a fresh perspective.
