Today on your fix of news, rumours and general whisperings regarding geekdom movies there is big news from Marvel. Also some Dr Who, DC, Will Smith, Willow, Lord of the Rings, Red Dwarf and Harry Potter.

Since the recording of this podcast the 'huge' news from Snyder just turned out to be that he will be having a limited release of his three DC films at the cinema, so not that big and not really worth mentioning in the grand scheme of things.

The Gods must be crazy guiding Dave to show this film to Samantha! To be fair it is not exactly how Dave remembers it either and to the conversation goes off piste a bit, but that always seems to happen.

Very sorry Dave has himself a bit of a sore throat that he is milking for max sympathy so there is no News this week, but the Podblast will be back next week with The Gods Must Be Crazy.

Well maybe because of the intense acting or perhaps hunger but Dave loses control of the Podblast towards the end and Samantha goes rogue!

As usual the first fifteen minutes or so is the latest round of news and rumours from the internet regarding the things we dig - after that is Dave's fifteen minute review of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which is full of spoilers! So remember to turn it off if you don't want to know what happens.

Jason is now on his own, mostly, in his very own spin off series in this very meta outing of Jason King. Samantha and Dave go off course a few times and again forget to score the episode out of 120%. In an effort to create drama and cliffhangery you'll have to wait two episodes till Man in a Suitcase when the scores will be revealed (if they remember).

It's the news and it's slightly late. Well you'll have to let Dave off he's been doing them far too early on Wednsdays and a Friday release fells much more even keeled.

One of Dave's favourite series but not the strongest episode, broadcast in 1969 Department S follows an agent, a computer scientist and an author as they solve the unsolvable for Interpol. Towards the end of the episode things almost turn political but it's narrowly dodged.

Another round up of the latest news, rumours and outright fantasy from the web. I bit of news that broke just before this Podblast was edited and sent is the leaking of the Ant-Man 3 complete script! Personally I don't think Dave and Samantha are going to try read it before seeing the movie themselves.

It's 1972 again and another half hour series, like The Protectors, so you can probably guess which way the wind blows on this. Like The Baron, The Adventurer is about a man working for the government almost at his own leisure using his status as an 'In' for spy work all around the globe.

It's the fortnightly round of news, rumours and spoilers from the world of comic book movies and the likes.

This week Samantha is exposed to the power of Harry Rule when Dave shows her the first episode of The Protectors. This 1972 classic is still (at the time of recording) aired in the afternoons here in the UK. As usual the first fifteen minutes is taken up with what they have been Watching, Listening and Playing. Oh and for the first time in a good while there's some mild swearing.

Just Dave this week as Samantha is enjoying New Year in Scotland, which gives Dave the freedom to ramble a bit more as he reads the latest news, rumours and possible spoilers round up.

The Zoo Gang Episode 1 Revenge Post Dated

With a week off due to ill health, which is addressed in episode, we're back with a winner! Samantha is all over this short lived classic ITC show and needs more.

As always we start with what Dave and Samantha have been watching, listening, playing and reading and then gives a news update, having a go at genre fans that need to start going the movies to support their corner.

About half an hour in the main review starts.

We've been asked about the dodgy pictures for each episode, Dave has been editing himself and Samantha into each of them for a while now (he's not very good at it but it makes him happy).

The Baron

Series 1 Episode 1 Diplomatic Immunity

After the interruption from Wakanda Forever we are back with The Baron, another ITC series this time starring Steve Forrest as an antiques dealer working for British Intelligence. First on the menu is a catchup with what Dave and Samantha have been Watching, Listening and Playing.

In a change to the schedule Samantha and Dave got a chance to visit the cinema when it was nice and quiet. At the end of the episode Dave asks if all our listeners would be kind enough to rate and comment on the Pilots Podblast through through Apple as it keeps them in the charts, thank you so very much.

Episode 1: My Late Lamented Friend and Partner

This is Dave's second go at recording this episode as the first time with Fal, last year, suffered some technical issues.

After a few days off due to a dodgy moon cake Dave reconsiders the direction of the PodBlast. "It is time to go back to basics" he says and so it shall. With missing a week there is plenty of news to catch up with for now and with its 'ad hoc' nature this PodBlast does contain a couple of errors from Dave, Baron Zemo being one of them.

We catch up on what Dave and Samantha have been watching, listening and playing which include Andor, House of Dragons and the likes. Discussed is She-Hulk which they both agree is top tier Marvel and that end...! Shortly after finishing the recording session they found out that Agents of Shield is being brought back into the fold! Exciting times.

Galavant at last! Also discussed is the currently filming Winter King series, all things horror and sci-fi. This episode is dedicated to the memory of Albi who was a very good boy.

No big reviews today just a chat about the dog's failing health, what we've been watching, Dave's frustrations at the service industry as well as the the news.

It's the Pre-Galavant One even though Samantha and Dave keep referring to it as "Valiant". They have a catch up on what they have managed to watch this week and pile on the excuses for why they ain't bothered with Galavant. Also discussed are motorbikes, the smell of leather, leaky computer games, Star Trek and Dave spoils Ted Lasso's second season now he's actually got Samantha into it, classic Dave.

FIGHT!

Buffy is responsible for some good and bad TV, it is now also responsible for a domestic between Dave and Samantha. Join us as we revisit an essential part of our lives as geeks, Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Once More With Feeling.

Samantha and Dave are back from summer break and ready to go. Before getting onto La La Land they discuss what they've been up to and what they've been watching.

Just a quick hello to say that we're still about enjoying our holidays, there's lots to watch and catch up and we'll get there. La La Land is our next proper episode and we can't to be back to normal.

Just a quick episode to address the fact that some may not know that we are releasing some of our early episodes while the UK has it's summer break. The kids are off so Dave and Samantha won't be able to record for a couple of weeks, business will resume soon enough with La La Land but until then enjoy Dave and Fal episodes reappearing from the back of beyond for a limited time...

So excited this week Dave forgot to do the final scores, Samantha gave it a 93/120 and Dave 85/120.

Well it's a good thing Dave and Samantha had no weapons to hand because they really don't agree on this one!

That said they've decided that wrestling news should have its own feature and it's even got some generic music to go with it.

It's the start of the Musicals Season on the PodBlast and what better way to kick off than a favourite Dave's that Samantha really isn't into... Pink Floyd's The Wall.

At the start of Dave's waffling he talks about the Raccoon City UK server he plays on. After recording they changed their name to Live and Let Die, which to be fair ties in with Season Two of the Podblast.

We were close to just using a picture of a dumpster on fire to sum it all up. What were they thinking making this? Dave and Samantha try to work that out, plus there's car crash tales and Dave goes off on one about Dayz.

With the Bond season over we take a quick look at some of the results of our scoring and let me tell you they are surprising!

And this is Samantha's favourite Bond! Certainly of the modern era.

I don't know if you will get on to this, but this is Dave's favourite Craig movie.

Not liked by either of us really, although a very well shot film. That said it sets up all the players in their right places for the next film.

A quick non spoiler first thoughts of Stranger Things and Kenobi plus news on all that's coming to Star Wars.

Dave and Samantha review a low point for the franchise.

Just a quick one to discuss Marvel's Runanways and upcoming TV and Film.

It's the first of Craig's run and Dave has to eat humble pie.

Ice palace ahoy! Dave and Samantha watch Die Another Day and frankly should be thanked because you don't have to.

Fal has moved onto greener pastures so Dave has a new co-host and together they watch and review a middle of the road Bond. Also, no swears?

Guess what? It's Fal's new favourite episode... again.

Less than twelve hours before the episode drops but have a listen anyways boss.

We're back on Bond and we're going to ride it out till No Time to Die, taking advantage of Amazon Prime. And at last it's one of the best Bond films there is... Goldeneye.

Well Maybe you shouldn't be living here!

Something that Dave forgot to mention is that he's annoyed at the fact the 4k doesn't come with the two extra Matt Murdock scenes. Also Fal forgot to tell me the name of that chick.
