Introducing 'the chef' Rick Rosentengle - Taught tennis by coach Bob Gonzales in 1983. From there he went on to oversee a Pickleball special event at Sam Houston st University, and then onto the University of Kansas. Eventually migrated to Texas ATM Commerce and gained enough experience to impress Curtis.

He learned Pickleball as a senior leader for coach Gonzales ( football coach).
