Cappo achieved success early in his life, leading a punk rock band, Youth of Today, which championed the ideals of vegetarianism, clean living and self-control, to a reach of thousands of fans. Eventually, Cappo went on a spiritual journey to India, becoming a monk in Vrindavan for more than six years.
Diving deeper into his spiritual practice of yoga, kirtan music, meditation and scriptural teachings, Cappo now leads his own yoga teacher training programs, guides in kirtan studies and continues to make music. In 2020, Cappo and Kaustubha Das launched their own podcast, Wisdom of the Sages, currently available on streaming platforms!
