Daniel shares all about his experiences growing up and chasing a variety of big game animals from the hills to the marshes. Daniel also shares insight on different strategies for hunting moose caribou and a number of other animals depending on the rut and timing within the season. Dan inquires about calling strategies, location and asks if his expectations are too high for their first hunt based on Daniel’s experience. Daniel tells stories of when he went in too deep on a hunt and spent 2 days packing a moose out from the backcountry. They both share about difficult packouts and how even though they are brutal they find themselves always wanting more difficult situations and adventures. Sheldon Grant is one of the founders of the group, and leads the way in design and marketing. Sheldon spends a lot of time literally at the drawing board! Doing Line-work for his day job, he does take advantage of his time off at his dad’s property scouting for deer. His interests include: Tequila, perk coffee, archery, hockey, campfires and music while his dislikes include snags, coyotes, wet cigars and haircuts. Chase Dreilich is also one of the founders of the group and one of the main editors of all content for their podcast, YouTube and social media. Being the family man of the group, he is often found with his partner and two kids taking in activities, or cooking up a storm in the kitchen. His likes include: big game, whiskey, cast iron, wood smoke, first frost’s while he strongly dislikes: mosquitos, whitecaps, over cooked steak and bug spray. Troy recently moved from Dallas to Springfield Mo and is a lifelong hunter and fisherman. Although he grew up frog gigging he has not participated in the sport in several years. Drew and Dan frog gig together every year and chase after multiple species together all around the country. Jim Matott is a life long hunter, 7th degree grandmaster, certified trainer and all around Bad A dude from upstate New York. He has been hunting and fishing since age 7 and just finished his 51st consecutive deer season hunting on the same 200 acres. Unfortunately that streak is about to change. A lot of things have changed in Jim’s life since he and Dan last spoke.  Dan and Jim cover everything from trees that crush houses to chasing after the continent's largest herbivore. Jim is a wealth of information when it comes to hunting and is a guest that Dan is sure to have on again and again.
