This week, due to schedules and availability, we decided to have a combined podcast for both Play Some Video Games and Nintendo Shack. So enjoy Donnie, Delvin, and Bex as they go way deep on the vacation from hell, echoes of wisdom, halo battle royale, Tim Sweeney's latest statements on the gaming industry and Nintendo's battle against the net and emulation.

This week, Delvin and Rebecca team up while Donnie is out, and the duo starts the show by talking about their experiences with Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom so far. They discuss this week’s news stories, such as Nintendo stating they want to be left out of console war debates, the first Pixar characters introduced to Fortnite, an exciting update to the Delta emulator on mobile devices, and information about the Switch version of Life is Strange: Double Exposure. As always, they answer listener questions, such as which Nintendo villain would you take over the world with, and what should Nintendo’s game plan for revealing the Switch 2 be.

Delvin and Rebecca join forces again this week to chat about the latest Nintendo news. This week brought a new Nintendo Direct, and the Nintendo Shack crew sat down to do a deep dive discussion about it. They go through all of the games announced and include their thoughts and analysis on each title including Fire Emblem Engage, It Takes Two, Octopath Traveler II, Pikmin 4, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and more. They touch on some additional news, such as Splatoon 3 breaking the record of fastest selling game of all time in Japan, and as always, end with a few more listener questions.

Greeeetings, Koopalings! This week on the Nintendo Shack podcast, Rebecca and Garret are joined by the one and only Jeff Grubb to talk to him about his statements regarding an upcoming Nintendo Direct for the month of September and what it might involve. He shares information that he discussed on his own podcast, Last of the Nintendogs, earlier in the week. After the Nintendo Direct talk, the three talk about the new Pokemon Grafaifai that was revealed, Live A Live's sales numbers, and an interesting update to Mario Kart Tour.
