The Naturolls – Details, episodes & analysis

In this introductory episode, we meet our crew at a celebration in the shining city of Skyland. Svetlana, a ridgeborn firbolg cleric played by @mrstoomuch.bsky.social, helps Yriel, a wanderborn goblin ranger played by @jenittowinit.bsky.social, with a little overindulgence problem. Maz, a seaborne faerie guardian played by @teecha.bsky.social meets up with them for some fried food and they notice Hilo, a seaborne clank bard played by @rianth.bsky.social, take a special interest in Yriel's sandcat Pazu. As they indulge in the delicious food, they notice Bogha-Froise, a seaborne ribbit sorcerer played by @olympuslives.bsky.social watching them. 

The rest, as they say, is history.

In Episode 3, The Naturolls find themselves in the middle of the woods surrounded filled with bandits and bears. They work their way to another camp and find the boy they've been sent to rescue, but they learn that what they were told might not have been the entire truth (or the truth at all).

Even a city in the sky has a seedy underbelly...

The adventurers enter the dungeon below Skyland looking for answers. Instead, they find an unexpected friend and the opportunity to make a complicated plan involving costumes, fake captors, hidden swords, and the admiration of butts. 

Will our brave heroes fool the guards and gain entry into the darker depths of the dungeon? And what will they learn about the destruction of the shining capital city above them?

Our brave adventurers dive deeper into the dungeon below Skyland, searching for answers about what caused the destruction on the city above them. After reconnecting with a friend, they charge head first into more of the Jagged Knife, throwing axes first and asking questions... never. A run-in with a magic mirror leaves them questioning some of their choices. And once again, they devise a plan so crazy that maybe it just might work.

Our plucky band of adventurers have a quick decision - face the guards who've just watched Bogha's magical transformation, or push through the door into the dark, foul-smelling unknown deeper in the dungeon below Skyland. Something waits for them beyond that door. Will they creep past or charge headfirst into whatever lurks there?

Plus! Our GM goads the players into making a potentially profitable but dangerous decision, and Yriel whips up a little surprise for Toko.

This dungeon beneath Skyland just keeps going, doesn't it? As the adventurers inch ever closer to the answers that they seek, more foul creatures lie in wait to ambush them. Toko stumbles on a memory of his past, hinting that whatever lies ahead may be more personal for him than the rest of the party. Maz goes on the offensive and almost takes it too far. Bogha stands toe to toe with a monster ten times her size. Yriel captures a villain. Svetlana reasons with him. Hilo stabs something clean through. Pazu does cool sandcat things.
