Joshua Cutchin is an acclaimed author and researcher of the paranormal.

He is the author of seven critically-acclaimed books: 2015's A Trojan Feast: The Food and Drink Offerings of Aliens, Faeries, and Sasquatch (translated into Spanish as Banquete Troyano); 2016's The Brimstone Deceit: An In-Depth Examination of Supernatural Scents, Otherworldly Odors, & Monstrous Miasmas; 2018's Thieves in the Night: A Brief History of Supernatural Child Abductions; and 2020's Where the Footprints End: High Strangeness and the Bigfoot Phenomenon, Volumes I & II, with Timothy Renner. In 2022, he released his two-part masterwork: Ecology of Souls: A New Mythology of Death & the Paranormal.

The day before our interview, Joshua's new film The Lady of The Lake was released on Prime, so I took the opportunity to ask him about it. (frustratingly, it's not available yet in the UK).

The documentary film is a Fortean perspective on the case of the murder of Haille Illingworth whose remains were found in Lake Crescent in 1940, after she had gone missing in 1937. See Joshua's blog for more info.

Listeners, I very much needed this chat with Capuchin Franciscan Priest-Friar, Brother Richard. I hope you feel you get a lot from it too.

We discuss Brother Richard's personal encounters with Otherworldly beings, first as a child and later as a Priest-Friar. He also talks about the Franciscan Order's understandings of Non-Human beings, they steps they take when protection is required or in rare cases exorcism, and he shares his own experiences of aiding in these circumstances.

I first heard about Jessica's encounter with a tall dark man on Glastonbury Tor on Darragh Mason's Spirit Box Podcast. Since then, she feels her sense of this being has developed further. This discussion is a chance to chat about what their meeting now means to her.

Our guest was only eleven years old when he wandered away from his holiday caravan site and found himself in the woods, communicating with two beings. They guided him through 'rooms' which seemed to have "glass walls" into the forest and showed him some kind of representation of how they were aiding us here on Earth. He experienced lost time.

Danu is an author, teacher and traditional Celtic wise woman, who was called to Glastonbury many years ago to work with Gwyn, who is said to dwell in Glastonbury Tor and the Black Mountains of Wales. Danu offers Celtic Fairy Tradition Courses and Natural Magic Courses online.

Having researched a series of recently reported encounters here at The Modern Fairy Sightings Project with the figure known as Gwyn ap Nudd, King of the Fairies, Lord of Annwn (the Welsh Otherworld) I chat to Danu Forest, author of, Gwyn ap Nudd: Wild God of Faerie, Guardian of Annwfn about her understanding of him, how she came to be a dedicated priestess of Gwyn and what he offers to us, in encountering him.

Artist, Jason is a well known face in London’s underground 'freak' subculture scene. His art background originated in creating comics which he now feels may link originally to an experience he had as an 11 year old child, when he came face to face with a small blue non-human being in his bedroom in East Grinstead, West Sussex.

Having researched UFO lore and demonology throughout his life, Jason decided to contact me with his encounter after hearing paranormal researcher, Paul Sinclair on this show, describing his experience of seeing a small creature with ‘elephant-like skin’.

We discuss later experiences, including powerful ritual experiences, his witnessing of anomalous light forms in clouds in Japan, synchronicities around manifesting and we mention Voodoo spirits, Papa Legba and Dhamballa.

🌟 In our bonus episode this time we’ll be looking at the Studham Common encounter in Bedfordshire, in 1967, when five or six children saw a small 3ft blue being during their lunchtime. Plus we'll look at other blue-being encounters 💙

We hear from a guest who, as a child living in rural Greater Manchester, encountered small black creatures emanating from a chimney breast in her bedroom. (see drawing attached of long nosed being and the hairy 'leader' which were drawn by our guest).

Jo Hickey-Hall chats with Dr Neil Rushton about his inexplicable audio experience on Glastonbury Tor in October 2023. He very candidly describes the difficult time he underwent this last winter, following the encounter.

 I speak to a man in Auckland New Zealand, who grew up in what was originally native bush land. As a child, he had what sounds like a gnome encounter inside his home. His response to the frightening experience had a profound effect on how he decided to live his life from that point forward.

Our guest's inspiring story suggests what may be possible if we can look beyond our fears and lean into communication with landscape and the non-human beings who reside there.

It feels like an important story for us to hear at this time.
